Vacation rentals with lake access in Pamlico Sound

We enjoyed a peaceful stay after long days on bikes. We were in town for the NC Coastal ride. After riding for 30+ miles each day we came back to a tranquil location. The home is immaculate. Every item one would ever need was provided. It was perfect to have a full size fridge for our supplies. Beth even left firewood in case we wanted to enjoy the fire pit. We were able to stretch and get in a yoga session on the dock. Yoga mats were provided. The home feels like a ship in that it is surrounded by water. The waves and fresh air made for incredible sleep each night. An osprey nest is outside the window. With the binoculars we were able to watch the progress of the nest and the amazing pair catch fish. The communication throughout the stay was spot on. The “billion dollar” view is remarkable, but the amenities and care from the homeowner make this is top notch vacation spot.

This place was perfect for my families little get away. private away from neighbors. had great property grounds for the kids and dog to play. the surrounding nature was awesome to wake up to. Lorraine was really proactive at getting me ready for the stay and replied to any questions quickly. we arrived earlier than the check in time and had no issues. long story short it's a great place with an awesome host. highly recommend! she even opened the pool to us ahead of time!

My husband and I spent a couple of days in the area and stayed at Brandon's. It was great. It was just the 2 of us but there is so much room for a family, plenty of space inside and out. I loved sitting on the porch. It is so quiet and relaxing. There were neighbors but not right on top of you. Brandon was great to deal with and responded quickly. Would definitely stay there again!

I had a wonderful stay! Dana was a fantastic host, and Kim, the co-host, made sure everything was seamless from start to finish. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and stocked with an ample amount of supplies that made the getaway even more comfortable and easy. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, which made settling in effortless. Communication was clear and prompt, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. Host was excellent we had trouble with the coffee maker and with in 3 hours he had expressed a brand new one delivered to the front door! Along with replacement remote that we couldn’t find! It was a great stay! Beautiful!! Kids loved the pool!! Will definitely be back!

Our stay was so relaxing and in close proximity to downtown New Bern. The mornings were so quiet with birds singing. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a relaxing stay in a peaceful, country setting. The home has a cozy, private feel, and we really enjoyed the beautiful weather and quiet time by the water. Fishing was a fun bonus, and the views made for a really calming backdrop. The house had what we needed for a comfortable week stay, and the host was kind and responsive in communications. It’s definitely a place for unplugging and slowing down, and we appreciated the chance to recharge in a quieter corner of the state.

The location was perfect for our trip. We travel with our dog. We needed a pet friendly place and this was perfect. Everything we needed was there to be able to cook and rest from being out shopping and fishing. The property appears to be 30 to 40 years old and a good bit of repairs and or updates are underway. Typical for a costal property. Appliances in kitchen are updated. View of water is un obstructed. The dock/pier is solid and comfortable to walk on and fish from. We enjoyed having the grassy yard for our dog to enjoy. Very quiet places during our Thanksgiving stay. We would book again if it is available and look forward to it.

Really enjoyed the condo it was a perfect base camp for a variety of activities in the OBX. There was a well stocked kitchen which was great as we did a lot of home meals. The condo was nicely decorated, and the beds were super comfy! James was easy to contact and communicated back quickly if asked a question. Was a great stay.

We loved No Ordinary Sunrise! Thomas was a great host, and we would definitely return to this beautiful home again. It was spotless and the location is great for anyone looking to adventure around the Outer Banks.

We had such a wonderful time! The cottage was so peaceful, absolutely beautiful and completely redone! Extremely clean and fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. It felt just like home right when we walked in the door. There was plenty of room for our family of three. Our 2yr old LOVED the huge yard and dock. The views of the sound from every window are AMAZING!!! The pictures just doesn’t do it justice! The sunrises were breathtaking and the night sky was just as pretty. Ms. Patricia was always so kind and quick to respond. We truly appreciated that! Thank you for allowing us to stay!

House is beautiful and perfect for my husband and I plus our granddaughter stayed with us one night. Full kitchen, plenty of bathroom towels, comfortable beds, sweet touches to make all complete. Would love to stay again!

This was our second stay at Chris's waterfront cottage. We were lucky enough to be here during the local Christmas holiday festivities in Oriental. Chris's place was so peaceful and serene. We can't wait to stay again!

Maria’s cozy little house was very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the backyard and her beautiful paintings. The beach is nearby, though it’s best to drive due to a busy intersection. The Wright Brothers’ Museum is just a short drive away, and Maria was incredibly helpful in recommending places to visit.

We had a wonderful stay. Plenty of room for a family of four, quiet street, close to bike trail and cute gazebo on the sound. Nice to have a fenced yard for our dog, though we mostly walked the neighborhood. Comfortable house, well stocked to meet any need ~ especially appreciated the options for coffee making. Easy drive to attractions & restaurants.

This cottage was perfect for our family's spring break trip. It was peaceful, quiet, and a quick walk to the beach! The cottage itself was wonderful--clean, decorated wonderfully, and surprisingly spacious!

Great house and great host. Had to make a last second change from a previous house we were staying in and Michelle was able to fit us in the night we asked and even before our allotted time. Made sure we had everything we needed and was always responsive. Very appreciative for her and her flexibility. Home was clean and had everything we needed. Would recommend to stay here.

From beginning to end this cottage is off the charts. Cute, unique, functiinal, confortable, well organized, thoroughly supplied and the location is private and beautiful.
