Really enjoyed the stay here. We did a week visiting family and the location and facilities were perfect for us. The A/C in the master bedroom was up to the task (gawd it's hot down there!). Geilyn was extremely nice and helpful. If you rent, get an exact set of coordinates for the location. I've rented all over Costa Rica and have found the custom in Costa Rica is "good luck finding us with we are nnn meters from xxx". The wave and google maps directions will take you to the school which is hundreds of meters north of the house. But Geilyn's husband saved the day and waved us down and pointed us in the right direction. I hope to rent this again for future visits to family. It was perfect for us.

You can go walking to the border, just pay attention that it is on par with the street so the cars happen every instant and there is noise at bedtime if they care about this aspect. It was relatively clean. Very comfortable beds and their pillows as well. In short, it's fine for your price.
