Small log cabin with a beach sauna

The atmosphere of a log cabin on the banks of the River Kitisen, just 2 km from the center of Sodankylä. Sleeping accommodations for five. In use is a log beach sauna with a wood stove and a renovated terrace, which also has an open fire for barbecuing. A new dock in front of the sauna to freshen up the river. Possibility to rent various kayaks, canoes and SUP boards. We also organize guided paddles, as well as guidance to the beginnings of kayaking.

No public transport. The roads are well maintained even in winter. The cottage is easy to get to. If you wish, transportation can be arranged by Mercedes Benz Vito car for an additional fee. The car is not available for rent separately.

An atmospheric house on the shore of the Kemijoki River

The naturally beautiful Kemijoki beach is about an hour's drive from Rovaniemi, 65 km towards Kuusamo. I recommend renting a car. Fully equipped 75 m2 cottage with two bedrooms, kitchen, sauna, bathroom, porch and terrace. There is a beach near the cottage (about 700 m). Opportunities for snowmobiling, fishing, berry picking and hunting, as well as hiking. There is a boat launch about 1.2 km away.
