  • Meet Santa Claus in Lapland
Get ready for a meeting with a real Santa Claus from Lapland. I am always happy when I see happy faces, I love to see people sharing time with each other on Christmas. To start the experience, I will introduce myself and my background as Santa. I'll ask guests to introduce themselves - your name, where you are from, favorite topics at school, wishes for this holiday season, etc. Each person will have a chance to chat with me and ask questions - I have over 400 years of experience as Santa, so you can ask me anything! For example, many people think that Santa lives in North Pole but I will explain that I live in Lapland. Of course I love to tell about all the elves behind the windows, who are making the toys in a toy factory - a very secret place. I'll share more about my secret home in Ear mountain, where I read all the letters, and eat delicious food Mrs Santa makes, especially rice porridge. All ages are welcome! This is a great activity to do together over the holiday season, friends families and teams!

  • Northern lights wilderness tour
Your guide will teach you about the Aurora Borealis and show you how the natives make a fire and cook food over it. Detailed explanations of the northern lights, wilderness, and the local animals will follow for those who wish to fully understand their surroundings. We will drive away from the city to find the perfect spot that we think will give us the highest chances of seeing the lights on that night. We will also find a warm spot to sit and wait for the lights to show. The more time we spend outside the more likely we are to see the lights. Usually, we view the Aurora in the middle of a huge frozen lake or river! All of the pictures of the Northern lights on our website are taken during our tours, some by clients, some by guides and some have even been taken on a mobile phone! Cameras often capture stronger images than what we can see with the ‘naked eye’, however, when the Aurora really starts to dance no cameras are needed and we actually prefer to put the cameras down and observe this very special phenomenon with our eyes Other things to note Northern lights cannot be promised, but we do our best in trying to find them for you. This tour is a great experience travelling through the wild Taiga forest.

  • One Day At Susimaa (Wolfland)
We'll welcome you at our land, Susimaa. After a first get together, you'll meet and greet all the wolfdogs and learn their names. Then we'll go together on a hiking adventure, when there is snow the hike will be with snowshoes that we'll provide you, through the woods and unique swamps. After this adventure (prepare to get wet feet, especially in autumn or after the last snow is melting) we'll gather around the cozy campfire over lunch in the middle of Wolfland, surrounded by the wolfdogs, reflecting the adventure and sharing stories. Other things to note Ask if you wish to book at a date that is not available in the calendar. Note: Minimum participants 2 PAX - available for solo travelers for an additional charge of €50,-

  • Borealis Spotting and Fires at a Lake
Aah yes, the beautiful pictures of Aurora Borealis! The best that Lapland has to offer, the Northern Lights, right? Im going to be totally honest with you: To see the Borealis is all about luck. Thats why I want you to experience other great Lappish things; to have a good time for four hours with open fire, two different types of huts / wickets, traditional Lappish / Finnish food & treats, stories, lake views, the polar night, the surrounding nature and atmosphere. And if we are lucky, the skies are clear and the universe serves us right, the Borealis will add a final touch to our shared traditional Lappish experience in the winter nature. Heres what is going to happen: – I will pick you up at 18.00 sharp – A drive of about 20 kilometers away from the city´s light pollution. – A short walk through the night forrest to the lake – We start a fire in the hut. – Free hanging around the area, spotting the borealis ect. while I cook. – The Dinner – We can try to figure out do the Borealis really hum... – I will watch the borealis radar – If theres no Borealis by the lake, we head on top Ounasvaara for different views & change for Sledging – I will drop you off where you want Other things to note The car we use is a 2017 Dacia Duster 4x4. I have warm clothes & shoes to borrow but they are not the latest fashion.

  • The Polar Sun & The Two Towers
Do you know what defines the Arctic circle? Arctic circle marks the northernmost point at which the center of the noon sun is just visible on the December solstice. This means that during the polar night period (mid November - mid February) you can experience the sun rise followed by the sun set in an instant. For me, the red sun that peeks at the horizon just to go down again has always been a bigger spectacle than the Borealis, so naturally this miracle – the Polar Sun – is something I want to show and share with You. But before the main event heres what we will do: – Pick up at 9.00 sharp. – 10 mins drive to Ounasvaara. – 10-15 mins walk through the woods to the First Tower. – 1hr free hanging by the tower where you enjoy the views, the wicket, the fire and the surrounding nature while I prepare your brunch. – You enjoy the Brunch – A little walk to an excellent downhill sledging place -> change for some serious sledging! – 15 mins drive and a small hike to the Second Tower on top of Syväsenvaara – The Polar Sun (If the skies are willing) – The Surprise – I will drop you of where you want to go Other things to note The car we use is a 2017 Dacia Duster 4x4. I have warm clothes & shoes to borrow but they are not the latest fashion. I have a sledge for you.
