We enjoyed our stay! The hot tub and sauna were really great and it was very relaxing. The lock is a bit difficult to open but after a few times you have it out. The two cats are super cute and intimate, we really loved it. Big plus for the bedding, which was super fluffy and cozy. We will be happy to come back!

We spent one night in Jockfall, the accommodation is beautiful, recent, well isolated, comfortable and very well-equipped. However, be careful to take the price of surcharges into account from the start. We'll be happy to go back! Good restaurant in a beautiful setting. Thanks to the Jockfall team 😊

Had a wonderful time at Jani's place! Quiet location, great sauna and pool outside and we could marvel at the aurora lights almost every evening:) Jani was always available and inquired if everything was according to our expectations.

Our Christmas stay was truly magical! The location was perfect, with snow-covered landscapes and an unforgettable view of the Northern Lights. The added bonus of a sauna made the experience even more special. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, providing kick sleds for the kids, which they absolutely loved. Everything was perfect—exactly what we were hoping for. Highly recommend!

The cabin was great and Saara was very accommodating and responsive. The location was beautiful, and we were able to see the northern lights while standing on the frozen lake! The sauna was warm and cozy, and Rovaniemi was a short drive away. Thank you for hosting us, Saara!

The house and host are just amazing. We arrived after a very long day of travelling in a warm cosy place and immediately felt at home. Everything you could wish for is thought of. If we would ever come back to Lapland we will have to come back to Harri's place as everything else will be a disappointment. Thanks Harri for everything!

Our stay at the cabin in Rovaniemi was just perfect! The place delighted us from the first second – it was clean, stylishly decorated and stocked with everything you need (even the little extras like coffee, tea). The location is ideal: quiet but still close to Rovaniemi so we could easily explore everything. A huge praise to Tiina and Juho, who welcomed us warmly and responded quickly to questions throughout the stay. The tips on local highlights were worth gold – we felt like locals! We also particularly liked the cozy atmosphere and the loving details that made the place a real home away from home. We will definitely be happy to come back and highly recommend this oasis! Johanna and Matti were very nice, helpful and gave us a lot of advice on what things we could do in the area. They helped us out with reaching some nearby destinations, because we arrived without a car. The Husky-Farm, that was close by, was really nice and being able to feed the reindeer and alpacas on Johannas farm was another highlight. The cottage itself was the perfect place to stay. It was cozy, privat and provided everything needed. We enjoided the sauna and even were able to see auroras directly from the cottage. Over all the stay there was beautiful and I can only recommend it :)

The Star Cottage is beautifully situated among the trees and is therefore secluded and quiet - and yet you are in the small center of Äskompolo within a short time. For us, it was ideally located and offered everything your heart desired from the sauna, to the fireplace, a beautiful view and the sled for a small tobogganing. For the collection and return of the key, it is helpful if you are traveling by car.

This place is MAGICAL! My hubby and I loved our stay! The cold plunge and sauna were amazing, relaxing and much needed after a long travel day. We rented a car, short drive from airport and there is parking. Very safe and cozy. The toilet was easy to use. The breakfast was very good, Tuulia accommodated us with a to go breakfast as we had an early flight. My hubby made us a fire and the bed was so cozy!! Will be back for sure! We loved our stay at the cabin and it is the perfect spot for a cozy winter getaway. Walking distance to Ylläsjärvi ski resort and other beautiful winter walking trails. Anita was extremely helpful and always quick to respond to all of our questions and provide local advice. Definitely recommend staying here :)

I had an incredible time at Riitta’s charming cabin. She welcomed us warmly, allowed an early check-in, and explained everything about the cabin, sauna, and activities. The cabin was small and simple, yet comfortable, with a cozy bed, warm blankets, and a window offering a stunning sky view. Heating is wood-fired (lasting ~3 hours), the bathroom is outside, and there’s no electricity (Riitta can lend lanterns). Bring your own food—there’s a gas stove, cookware, and a 5L water container provided. We were lucky to witness two nights of breathtaking Northern Lights, watching them dance across the sky and even falling asleep with the aurora visible through the window—truly magical! The sauna was another highlight: a traditional Finnish experience with optional cold dips and hot water baths. You can also snowshoe, ski, sled, or enjoy a cozy barbecue with equipment provided by Riitta. Everything was exceptional! Thank you, Riitta, for the kindness and unforgettable memories.

Mari was a top host. She herself is not present at the arrival, but will welcome you via message and give you the code with which you can enter a few hours before arrival. In this way it immediately felt like your own personal cottage. The cottage was very clean, also completely our style. It has been worked on with very durable material, which really makes it feel like luxury. The beautiful high windows are really a plus. The view from the cottage is beautiful! Our stay was very pleasant. Thank you!
