Nature eco lodge vacation rentals in Petén Department

This was my second stay at Alice Guesthouse and I will never stay anywhere else in El Remate. Natalie and the rest of the caretakers and staff are all incredibly accommodating and willing to coordinate anything you may want to do in the area. We went on a stellar horseback ride that she arranged the day before, having the horses come right to the guesthouse at whatever time we wanted. The food and bar is also wonderful with plenty of selections and high quality. Truly a hidden paradise :)

This space was a gem. Not only was it peaceful and beautiful but it was very well put together. The owner was friendly and create an atmosphere in which travelers of all backgrounds could come together and break bread. My stay was not only relaxing but fun.

we had a problem during the stay but they resolved it satisfactorily, the bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious.

We had an excellent stay at Mundo Maya. The entire team of staff was incredibly helpful and took great care of us. They went above and beyond to accommodate for our visit to San Jose. This is a very peaceful quiet town with public lake access. Incredibly dreamy, looking forward to my return. The host areanged transportation for us with one of their staff, and we were able to visit Flores island and catch a shuttle to Tikal easily.

We were taken care of by Doña Flor, Jasmine's mother. Doña Flor was very helpful and kind to us at all times. She is a super good cook, she guided us when we were arriving at the place and always answered all the calls and messages. He also gave us tips on schedules and quirks of nearby tourist places.

If you visit Tikal, I highly recommend staying at least one night. This gives you the time to fully appreciate this miraculous place. The Jaguar Inn provides comfortable secure and stress free accommodation just a few steps from the park entrance. You will not be disappointed!
