This perfectly presented traditional cottage set right in the heart of Portscatho has the beach literally a stone's throw from your doorstep. With amazing walking, pubs, art galleries, shops and the famous Hidden Hut, Portscatho has become the place to be on the Roseland.
“Lovely cottage in an absolutely perfect location - our 3 year old loved the 30 second stroll to the sea to check on the tide every morning, while my husband and I grabbed a delicious coffee and pastry from Tatums. Nice pub across the way and fantastic little village shop which sells everything you could want. Kitchen was well equipped, beds comfy, and the house was a good size. Lacks a little personality perhaps, but everything else makes up for that.”
Our large, en-suite double room is ideally located in the beautiful creekside village of Mylor Bridge, 4 miles from Falmouth.
“Such a lovely stay in a beautiful village. Celia was the best host and nothing was too much trouble. A gorgeous room and extremely clean and homely. I had a lovely few days and in a great location near to Falmouth. A great place to stay to explore the area. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.”
Spacious apartment in peaceful manor house. Double bed with King duvet. Lovely view to the sea over private wooded estate. Next to National Trust woodland, parkland, and beach. Nearby NT house with noted gardens, restaurant, shop. Private bumpy drive through woods. Shared entrance hall and stairs, private inner door. Parking. Use of lower lawn.
“Michael is a super host, very warm and kind. He is happy to provide local information and guidance to the local attractions, the many wonderful walks and his special insights to area. The location is peaceful and set in highly attractive AONB countryside. The apartment is wonderful; spacious, well appointed, with all the services and facilities you will need. The large sitting room has beautiful pastoral views across to the sea. We were pleased to find a bath as well as a shower. Having access to the garden and long drive that leads direct into the grounds of Trelissick House is a tremendous bonus, especially when you are keen walkers. Thank you again Michael, we do hope to return!”
