Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Platja d'Aro i S'Agaró

A very big thank you to Lise and her mother Pilar for their warm hosting 😊 they are adorable, friendly and accommodating. When we arrived, Pilar took the time to explain everything in detail: the functioning of the house, the amenities... and even without speaking Spanish, we managed to understand each other very well, which was very appreciated. The house is conveniently located, only 2 minutes walk from the beach, in a quiet area (at least, in April). It is well equipped, there is nothing missing for a comfortable stay. I am delighted to have met them and would definitely stay again. ☺️☺️

We had a great time in Sylvia's place. It's spacious and the large terrace and garden let us have some relaxing time. The parking just outside the house is convenient. The house is only a 30-40min drive from Barcelona and there are a number of attractions nearby. Highly recommended!

We are family of four (2 adults, 2 children). We stayed for 7 weeks and had everything that we needed and even more - very well equipped kitchen, 2 terraces, washer and dryer. We felt really comfortable. Self check-in was perfect for us, Alexandra was very responsive, welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed communication with Alexandra and we loved privacy she provided for us, we really felt that we are at home. The house is as described and even better. House is located 7 min from train station, 8 min from the beach, 2 min from supermarkets, there are many restaurants, shops, pharmacies, children playgrounds in the surroundings. Canet de Mar is perfect for peaceful daily life and exploration of Barcelona and nearby cities. The only thing that we had to get used to were the cold floors. But I know that is just the way it is in Spanish homes and definitely not a negative, just something to be ready for.

We stayed at Adriana's place for almost two weeks in October and didn't want to leave at the end! 😊 + 1. Great location (coastal hiking trails are fantastically beautiful!) 2. Very pretty garden 3. Quiet neighborhood and privacy 4. Great amenities (from the paella pan to the parasol - everything there) 5. Super communication and helpfulness by hosts - 1. Extremely unpleasant sewer smell in the house, which even the whole incense sticks do not help (according to the hostess, this only occurs with a north wind) 2. Sleeping during the week impossible due to construction noise from the early morning hours (end of the season) 3. Restaurants and activities partly closed due to the season 4. Bathroom (hair in shower) and kitchen (crumbs on refrigerator and in front of microwave) unfortunately not as clean as expected based on the positive reviews. We would have liked a better price-performance ratio. In summer, but probably GREAT! Overall recommended! :

Mireia's place is great. Perfect if you go with dogs, it has everything you need ( bowls for drinking, bed) and a completely fenced lawn for running. The house is very nice, it has everything you need, including the barbecue that had fireplaces and everything. Very nice and quiet. It takes a car to do things in the area but there are beautiful villages to visit. In fact Mireia's recommendations were great.

If you are looking for a memory of a lifetime, this is the Airbnb for you!!! If you are looking for a normal, modern AirBnB keep looking. You will literally be living inside castle walls! I have stayed in lots of places around the world and this one is special. Couple things: It is a bit of a walk to the house (including uphill) your choice to walk along the beach or to walk through an older area with lots of shops and places to eat. We liked to stop and grab a snack and bottle of wine to carry up to the house to enjoy in the afternoon before walking down for dinner. Parking...the easiest plan is to just park in the underground parking garage...about $40 for 24hrs. My wife and I stayed here and it was perfect. There are four or five other beds (all twin) but just know that it would be pretty tight if you tried to pack in 5 or 6 adults. Eating...excellent food is within walking distance. We ate almost all of our meals inside the castle walls. Highly recommended!

Djaafar was a superb host: everything from the meet and greet with drinks and snacks, to the flexible checkout and the local recommendations. He was on hand via chat app throughout the stay and always willing to help. As for the house itself? It was great! It matched the photos and description perfectly. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. If I was being picky the pool was a bit cool but it didn't stop us, and the hot tub was there to warm up after. The location was walkable to San Pol (if you don't mind a hill) and driveable to so much including countless beaches, Barcelona, Girona and more. All in, really pleased we stayed there!

Quiet town within easy driving distance to cute towns and beautiful beaches in the region. We used it as a base to explore Girona and the Costa Brava. Comfortable for 4 people and communication with Dune was quick and easy.

Fantastic apartment, great location. Ida was very helpful, both with information before arrival (and super easy check in details) but also during stay. Had a minor plumbing issue and she found a plumber right away on a Friday late afternoon who could come to sort it out with no problems. Would definitely recommend!

We needed relaxation and the apartment delivered. Well furnished well equipped . Everything needed was there . Lovely views from the balcony and terrace . This will be a place we return to - perfect

The apartment is beautiful and just as pictured. Perfect location. Beautiful high ceilings. The master bedroom is absolutely massive. If you like your privacy, it's worth noting that there are no doors between the master bdrm and its ensuite, and there is a window between the 2nd bedroom and its ensuite. It is part of the charm, but maybe not everyone's style. We enjoyed our stay.

Location was great- easy walk to all cafes, quick access to get out on bike routes. Central location but quiet in the evening. Patio area is a lovely area with views of Girona.

Anna is very welcoming, attentive and responsive. Conveniently located,secure, clean, well-equipped and close to everything on foot. Four-legged apartment welcome. Two well laid out terraces that allow you to soak up the sun throughout the day. Individual garage. A big thank you to Anna.

Eva’s apartment is truly beautiful. She has thought of everything to make our stay so comfortable and homely. It’s impeccably designed and practical as well as being very stylish. We felt right at home. It was so clean and welcoming we settled in right away! We stayed for 3 nights and now we wish we’d stayed for longer! We would recommend this apartment very highly to anyone- it’s just perfect. It is also very good value for money. You get a whole lot of lovely apartment for what Eva asks for “rent” - incredibly reasonable. Eva was a lovely host - she went above and beyond arranging taxi trips etc because I’m currently having difficulty walking longer distances (awaiting a knee operation). Eva also checked in with us to ask if all was well and did we need anything. So thoughtful and kind. We would like to come back to Girona again when I’m recovered and would definitely stay in Eva’s apartment not only for its superb location but because we felt at home there. Thank you Eva xx

Marcello is a very available and welcoming host. He recommended a restaurant he booked for us and where we were perfectly welcomed. The house is spacious and pleasant for large groups. I recommend it!

Very satisfied There were 8 of us and We were at the end of April 2025, the weather was not one of the best for the sea but the fact that having such a large and comfortable home helped. The house is huge with ample living spaces and rooms, in my opinion the photos do not make, in truth the house is much more beautiful than you can see in the photo The host Yulia was always at our disposal even in time of need, she was very kind and friendly. What is not specified, the garage is not usable, but there is a large open parking space. The kitchen is well equipped with flat and cutlery glasses and appliances, the house offers amenities such as dishwasher, washer and dryer. Only thing, it would be to improve the living room with a larger sofa since the structure can accommodate many people and provide more blankets in case of need not all rooms I have a lock to be able to close this could limit privacy

We were 13 people including 5 children. The house being well equipped and spacious it suited us perfectly. The villa is wonderful with its roofstop which has an incredible sea view. I also really recommend the situation to go on many hikes that are all as beautiful as the other. Our family loved this stay.

We had a great time at this villa, perfectly suited for a large group (there were 14 of us). The accommodation is spacious, very well equipped and ideal for enjoying the full outdoors: tennis court, mini golf, ping pong... everything is thought out to have a good time together. The owners were extremely responsive and available throughout the stay (and very nice), which made our experience even more enjoyable. I would recommend it in a second!

The perfect, private, hillside villa. The family all loved the pool, darts and chess boards and well stocked larder and kind gifts (wine and crisps) for our arrival. The place is beautifully decorated. Thank you so much Daphne.

Thanks for this beautiful weekend! The villa is on 2 floors with 2 separate entrances as indicated in the listing. The living room is spacious. The view from the terrace is breathtaking! Not far from the center of Lloret de mar (about 8min drive) and the Torre de mar which we really liked (a little further away). If you want to hike or rest this is a very nice place.

We came to stay in Santa Coloma for a mountain bike weekend, the house is perfect and close to the bike spot! Silvia is responsive and accommodating. We'll definitely be back I recommend
