Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Possum Kingdom Lake

We, 6 gals out for a relaxing girls trip, found this historic house charming; the kitchen was very well equipped with all we needed, and the bathrooms were great  Another good feature is the location; close to everything we wanted to see and do.  We do, however, have some input and suggestions to make it even better.  A manual of instructions would be extremely helpful. Once we identified the thermostat, operating it was highly confusing and 'more than challenging'.  Also, we couldn't get the TV to work but finally figured it out ourselves. This is where printed instructions would be very much appreciated.  Several rooms had burned-out light bulbs, including the dining room where we could have used the full light.  The hot tub picture on your site is very deceiving.  We found this tub to be very questionable for safe access and there is no ledge around it on which to sit; you are either in or out.  And a final suggestion - noting in your description that the stairway is very steep.

The home was perfect for us and 2 other of our baseball team families. Everyone had their own space with plenty of spreading out room in the common areas. The boys were able to stay together in the bunk room which they loved and were kept entertained by the pool table, darts, basketball goal and ping pong table. If we are ever in the area again, this place will be at the top of our list. Its about 20 minutes to Rocker B Ranch fields.

Brett stepped in late for us when we had issues with another booking we had. Brett responded quickly and was able to get us in. The place was amazing and right what me and my family were looking for spring break weekend.

This is a great place for a group of friends for the weekend! The pool, covered patio, & outdoor kitchen was a hit for my group. Very accessible and clean, James was a wonderful host and we look forward to coming back to the Possum Kingdom area the future!

We had an amazing weekend at this lake house! The setup was perfect, providing everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Communication with the host was excellent—quick responses and a fast resolution to a minor issue made the experience even better. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

very unique guest house that is beautifully decorated and all modern amenities. I love the mix of old and new -- it was so comfy! Reading the news articles of the dairy and other framed memorabilia -- it was like a time capsule and very interesting. This place has great history and was great to see it preserved so well. Highly recommend!

We had a great time! The house and dock were great - plenty of space, peaceful - Jessica was super responsive and helpful.

We all greatly enjoyed our stay here! It was quiet and beautiful and relaxing living on the lake. Dave was nice and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

Heaven on EARTH!! The hideaway was tucked back and surrounded by trees. This weekend was magical.

The Dilly Dally cabin was a perfect long weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life! Close to granbury and most importantly an HEB! Already recommended it to relatives for their next getaway!

I felt so cozy and comfortable. Staff was friendly and responsive. Easy to find and close to interstate and good restaurants close. I would stay again!!!

What an amazing place to stay! We stayed over Thanksgiving and it was close enough to Ft. Worth to visit friends and Granbury where we had some work to do the next couple of days. Super peaceful and comfortable! Wish we had more time to be able to explore the ranch! The shower was fantastic and I was determined to use the hot tub even though it was cold outside! Really unique experience staying in a safari tent. I highly recommend it!

David's place was exactly as described, and David was an excellent Host. The Occasion was a Family Wedding (mine), and my grandkids loved every minute. It was stocked like no Airbnb I have ever been to, and David's help with the animals and helping my kids get loaded up at the end of our visit was above and beyond what anyone else would have done. We really enjoyed our stay here. We loved the privacy away from the city that also came with it. We felt at home. Having a fire pit was great too. The stars were much more visible than what we are used to. The notes on how to operate everything were also nice. Had no problem falling asleep either. When we come back out there again, we will definitely use this one or any of the other cabins that were around if available.
