Our plan was very last minute, and we're really thankful they accepted our request so quickly. This homestay is not like the usual ones where a caretaker manages everything. Here, the service is provided by the family members themselves, which makes it feel more like home. From check-in to check-out, the instructions were clear and simple. Offering food at a homestay is an extra task, and we genuinely appreciate the effort they put in. They could have easily suggested nearby commercial hotels, but they went the extra mile to provide home-cooked meals, which made the experience so much more special. It's not about the price; it's about the warmth and hospitality. The house is beautifully built with library, and we had a great view of the plantation at the back. The area is perfect for long walks, and there's even a football turf nearby for sports lovers. A short, peaceful drive of just 5 km takes you to the nearby town, and don’t miss out on a visit to the Calicut Chips shop there!

Fawaz is a great host, very proactive and responsive. This listing of his is in a remote yet very beautiful location, the waterfall within the property is well maintained, beautiful and very private. He maintains a very good housekeeper too, she served us delicious, authentic Kerala foods at very nominal charge. I highly recommend this place for people visiting waynad. one word of caution, please reach the place before sunset, it is hard to locate.

It's a great property for 2 small families to stay with some great views of Chembra peak and host is very responsive. Kitchen and bathrooms are fully equipped and also ample parking space for 2 vehicles. If you are self driving just be cautious as the road approach is narrow but property is very well located as its walkable to the nearest town which has a supermarket and other necessities.
