Monthly Rentals in Reinøya

Very nice house, perfectly located for skiing with a fantastic view on the fjord. Bonus point for the sauna and the cosy hut in the garden. Henning is a very accomodating person and makes sure everything is ready for you in the house.

We were very much looking forward to our stay in Norway and the host was always available. We chose to stay in peace and nature with sauna and hot tub. For the use of this, we had to pay extra which is not very clearly stated. For this price, maybe a little more wood provided because you will certainly not be able to use this and since the price is already pricey anyway, if this is unlimited, we find it. The house was clean, spacious and beautiful view. However, a dangerous staircase, especially the hole down when you are upstairs. Children who are playing do not always have this in mind, maybe a fence provided for safety! The fireplace is definitely a plus because we love this coziness. We were able to admire the northern lights 5 of the 6 nights from the terrace. The kitchen equipment may be a little more extensive. We missed a mixer to mix our soup and a colander to shake off the spaghetti.

A comfortable place to stay for a week for 3 friends. The owners were very communicative and the place was great! The kitchen, living, and dining room areas were spacious. The bedrooms are a bit small (I am 6 feet tall and could not stand up in the bedrooms) and there is not a lot of storage space because the owners items and food occupy most shelves and pantry area. But it was enough for 3 of us to live comfortably for a week with a lot of skiing and climbing gear.

I had a mágicas month stay at this cabin. There was lots of snow and wildlife and northern lights more than 10 times. Such a beautiful and quiet place to unwind. I didn’t rent a car, and as long as you plan well you can just use the bus to get in and out of tromso (very limited weekend service though). I hope to return in the summer to have another great, but very different, experience in this beautiful slice of Norway.
