Absolutely gorgeous house with a homely cosy vibe. We felt right at home and had everything we needed to make it a home from home. The host was friendly and very responsive and gave clear instructions how to gain access to the property. Just a short walk into the town which made eating out so easy and accessible - we felt sad to leave and would definitely book again!

We had a lovely stay, the house was brilliant and very comfortable. Carol was a friendly, welcoming host who made sure we had everything we needed and more. She also went the extra mile with extra little touches, including baking us fresh scones as we arrived.

Had a fantastic stay. The cottage was just like a home from home. The garden like something straight from the secret garden book! Wanda was extremely welcoming of our dogs! Would highly recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jo’s place. The annex was so clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed, plus more! The croissants, bread, chocolates, wine, juice and yoghurts Jo left us were a lovely touch, as were the treats for our dog! We also enjoyed the use of the exercise equipment. The area is absolutely stunning. Thank you Jo - we had a lovely weekend!

Really lovely time over Easter for three families with young children. Great place & lots to do in the area. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay. A really quiet spot, lovely quiet dog walks, a great local Indian takeaway that delivers, and most significantly, a beautiful chilly March evening spent relaxing in the hot tub.

We fell in love with The Round House and its location. It is really something out of a fairytale. It is well equipped, 2 outside seating areas, hot tub and a fire place which we didn't use as we visited in May. Decor is very tasteful with cute little touches. Coffee machine, sound system and superb shower were a bit of a luxury. The village is chocolate box pretty. we had dinner at The Fox and at Zafra. Both delicious 😋 Claire and Luke were fantastic hosts. Very accommodating, which we really appreciated. Thank you Claire and Luke for the wonderful stay. x

A beautiful cottage in an amazing location. The house is really homely, clean, well equipped and comfortable. The backyard was a fantastic bonus - a real sun trap that made a sunny Easter weekend all the more enjoyable. The area is really quiet and walking distance to great restaurants, walks, the 'beach' is at the end of the lane. The bikes are as described (heavy and uncomfortable) , but if you bring your own the side access to the back yard makes it easy. A wonderful place to stay in a wonderful little part of the world. We had a wonderful stay. The flat is really close to the beach and looks even better in reality than the pictures. And Barbara is a fabulous host- very responsive, and she was really helpful about a couple of matters.

We had a lovely weekend at Walton on the Naze. The apartment is extremely clean, cosy and homely. The location is excellent, close to the beach and High Street.

Lovely cosy flat with everything you needed with lovely surroundings. Julia was a great very friendly host very helpful. Really enjoyed our stay would recommend her flat as a great place to stay.

We loved this place, brilliant wrap around veranda, spacious airy rooms, peaceful but with most of the appliances from home...even a tv in the bedroom! The kitchen is great but if you don't fancy cooking there is the hotel 10 mins walk away with two bars serving food and if you go after 7pm you can call for a shuttle to take you there and back for free. It's like getting a lovely break in the country with tv, WiFi and a pub/ restaurant nearby if you get bored of all the nature! The staff at the hotel were lovely and the food was great.

We really enjoyed our stay at Robert and Lorraine's house. The flat is right opposite the beach which is amazing. The flat was very clean. Beds were comfortable. There were plenty of clean towels which was very handy. overall a very positive experience.

This space is an ABSOLUTELY GEM of a find! I ended up with a prolonged stay of about 2.5 months and it was a joy to have this space to stay in and work from. The hosts were receptive, proactive, friendly and supportive. I have nothing negative at all to say about my stay and can’t think of anything that would have made my stay more enjoyable. 5 stars easily!

The “Cowshed “was perfect for our stay. Situated in the grounds of a beautiful old farmhouse with a majestic in and out drive. The pub across the road does amazing food with excellent sevice.(try the pie for 2 😋) Jacky was a friendly and attentive host. Would definitely stay there again next time I’m in the area. We had an amazing stay at Fred’s. The space was beautiful and very clean. The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of pots, pans and cutlery meaning we could easily cater for our group over the weekend. There was even an air fryer to use! The beds were comfy and the mix of single and double beds, meaning it was easy to organise the sleeping arrangements. Fred was very responsive and helped us find the property and showed us himself how to work everything in the house. Overall I would highly recommend staying here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were in Suffolk for a 3 day wedding as an extended family group and the house was the perfect base. The house is very comfortable- especially the beds - and everything has been thought of. It is also very very clean. The courtyard is beautiful. We would thoroughly recommend!

We had a lovely stay in West Mersea this weekend. The airbnb is in a perfect location, with a short walk down to the beach. The property is beautiful and spacious and the projector is incredible! Tony and Mas were wonderful hosts and were easily contactable throughout our stay. Highly recommend.

Fabulous house in a beautiful area. House was incredibly well equipped and everything was a really high quality. Loads of essentials in the fridges and high end toiletries in all bathrooms. Cant recommend Jacqui enough as a wonderful host. And really dog friendly.
