Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in River Stour

We were so pleased to have found Maria’s annexe it was perfect, absolutely spotless everything we needed was there totally perfect and they were both a lovely couple, we’d definitely stay there again and recommend here to anyone else .

Thank you Sean for all the great stays we have had - we have become very fond of this cosy apartment overlooking the pier, with great views in every direction and a brilliant collection of local artwork.

Photos don't do this place justice. Lovely, clean caravan on a nice peaceful site with plenty to do for all the family. Comfy beds and super clean throughout. Really enjoyed the decking as we were lucky to have nice weather. Great location for exploring Suffolk. Also thanks to the host for answering any questions we had. 😀 Overall no complaints and we really enjoyed our stay.

Another lovely stay at Pippa's place, her properties always exceed our expectations. spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, comfy bed, attention to detail. she really does think of absolutely everything! whenever we book a night away we always look to see if one of her beautiful cottages are available. They've become a real beautiful home from home for us. highly recommend. Thank you Pippa!

This house is in an unparalleled location, right on the seawall. It was quiet, had everything you could need and looked jist like the photos. Mark provided excellent instructions and there were even little videos on how to use the appliances if you got stuck. The house is on the edge of West Mersea but under 5 minutes from 2 pubs, a pizza place and seafood cafes. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the high street. It was a lovely place to stay. I will be back!

What a fabulous stay My family have just had at Lance's lodge. Beautifully decorated, clean, spacious and the view of the lakes was fantastic. The beds were very comfortable both the en suites were huge! perfectly situated on the quieter side of the site and still only a 5 minute walk to the club house and shop. Debbie the caretaker was excellent. She was very helpful and clearly works very hard to maintain the lodge to such a high standard. We will definitely be looking to come back Asap.

Lovely accommodation with everything you might need and great host.. Lovely comfy bed in a cosy cabin in beautiful surroundings. would recommend for walking, cycling or as a great get away for peace and tranquility

Have to do it again because I was too relaxed and just laid about. Was cold outside which was a shame but next time summer time!

We stayed at Sarah’s place for 6 nights and had an amazing time. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, the home is walking distance from “downtown” and less than 200M from a beautiful Sainsburys grocery store. The gardens were very peaceful and tranquil, an absolute joy to look out at. We were initially booked in the basement suite but the garden studio was available on arrival and Sarah gave us the option to change, which we did. She was very gracious and welcoming, provided sundries in the fridge, croissants, granola and other basic groceries for us on arrival. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.
