Really lovely spot. Travelled to visit Colchester and Dedham Vale. Penny and her husband made my dad and I feel at home in this pretty corner of Essex as we stayed in their open plan barn (lower floor). We were greeted upon arrival despite hold-ups meaning we arrived late and Penny showed us round. Their estate has a beautiful walk around which we made the most of and Penny recommended a number of spots to visit - we enjoyed a walk in a nearby wood. The room was light and comfortable, both beds were more than adequate and I enjoyed the ensemble of paintings and ornaments on display - it felt like a little home for a few days. Would recommend to a friend.

Stayed for one night, as a family. Accommodation was very clean, great layout and comfortable beds. Carvery restaurant and bar within a few minutes walk. Train station next door for connection into London. Supermarkets and shops within a 5 minute drive. Highly recommend

Had a fabulous week exploring Ipswich and Suffolk; this is a great base from which to visit a multitude of places and so much variety from Jimmy's Farm to World War 2 collections to falconry and kayaking to Saxon and medieval history; the furthest we drove was 40 miles. Excellent apartment with interesting views and Kie was a superb host - he met us at the apartment and also messaged during the week to check that everything was ok. Very happy to recommend this apartment and will definitely be visiting again in the future.

I had an incredible stay with Elaine as my host! From the moment I arrived, she made me feel completely at home. Her attention to detail and thoughtfulness ensured that everything was perfect throughout my week-long stay. The space was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly cozy. Elaine went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and was always available for any questions or assistance. She is an exceptional host who genuinely cares about her guests!

I stayed at Tom's place for a week and I did not have any issues. Tom and Anna were really friendly and responded to my messages right away. The room had an amazing view of Cambridge and it was really close to the train station. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

We stayed as a group of friends at this charming house, and it exceeded all our expectations! The property was even more stunning than the pictures, with a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comforts. Vanessa is incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful scenery provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable getaway. We can't recommend this place enough and would like to return one day!

Nice house in good location for the planned trip

This house was great for what we needed, a family celebration. A lovely kitchen dinning room and great sized bedrooms all as described. There were lovely walks that included the local pubs! Host was easy to chat with and responed quickly to my messages (hosts dad was super friendly and helpful). We were lucky to have great weather and the garden was like having another room. Recommended for a relaxing weekend away.

Very comfortable, well equipped caravan. Travel cot easy to put in largest bedroom. Good amenities, bonus of small bath ideal for babies. Lovely decking area which catches the sun and clear easy instructions for access. Will be booking again!

We had a great stay at Wash Farmhouse. The space was great and exactly what we needed. The house was clean and really nicely finished. Instructions and amenities were well explained and overall we had a really lovely time. Well worth booking and going too.

Great location for the Racecourse and the local Pub's too

The hosts were very lovely and friendly they greeted us at their gate and showed us the flat which was lovely and clean! They provided fresh bread and milk which was a great touch! The beds were so comfy and we all had a great sleep and the sofas and front rooms were a great place to relax and watch TV I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a place to stay in the area and we’ll defo be back if are in the area

We had a lovely time, the place was immaculate and very cosy. The complimentary snacks and Prosecco were the perfect touch. If you’re a couple and want a get away I would recommend to anyone!

The place turned out to be beyond all expectations. In a residential area, easy to reach, a quiet&safe place to return to;only 15 m.walk from the Historic Center,surrounded by parks and small local pubs,Bus Stops &Trains Station are also closer,so you ll have the chance to discover a bit of the Cambridgeshire if you like!Flat,it's absolutely fantastic!Sunny,spotless equipped with all you may need!Plenty of space at your disposal,a large bright room with independent access-huge,comfortable bed,a private bathroom filled with all comforts possibly needed & more!Nothing missing,everything is tidy&clean as host takes such good care of it!Flat's unique in its style,a stunning place,made amazing by all its unique details,an house with a great personality-it mirrors Colleen's.She s a perfect host,communication has been effective and easy-info.&rules,very clear She s always happy to help and share tips!She's kind,descreet,perfect to share flat with&much worthy a chat!Highly recommended!!!
