We had a wonderful stay. Received a lovely welcome pack, even doggie treats. Carolyn took the time to leave us lots of info about doggie friendly restuarants and places to visit. The house was pristine and decorated at a very high standard. Had everything we needed and more.

Idyllic location to unwind and take in the views. Could have sat staring out of the window all day! Lovely, clean & comfortable with enough kitchen appliances to rustle up something to eat but there are so many restaurants, pubs and cafes within 5 miles you may not need to. Comfortable bed and pillows and an extra long bath and decent sized shower. We loved the sheep and horses that were within metres of the fenced in garden. Our dogs did like them but they had a bark or 2, the sheep and horses were so laid back they didn’t even raise an eyebrow. Handy for the beach, Driffield and Beverley. Will definitely return

An absolute perfect place to relax. The boot room is brilliant if you have a dog or a keen walker or cyclists host very helpful but will leave you to enjoy your stay.overall a fabulous host and fabulous property

Milo Cottage is absolutely beautiful – spotlessly clean, incredibly tidy, and full of charm. The garden and countryside views are simply stunning, and the interior is finished to a very high standard with so many thoughtful, stylish touches. Jooanne has truly thought of everything – from the essentials like milk and tea to the delightful homemade cake waiting for us on arrival. The cottage is well-equipped with board games, books, and plenty of information on local walks and attractions. We loved the outdoor seating areas in the garden, perfect for relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. The house also features a wonderful collection of David Hockney artwork, along with books and information about him, which added a unique touch. There’s even a menu and guide for The Star, the local pub – and what a gem it is! A lovely walk from the cottage leads to one of the best pubs we’ve ever dined in, with an incredible atmosphere and delicious food. We highly recommend Milo Cottage x thank you x
