An ideal starting point to discover Ticino. Lake Maggiore at your feet, the valleys and the centers (Locarno, Bellinzona and Lugano) are also easily accessible by public transport. The markets in Italy are also easily accessible by car or public transport. In winter and during the cool season, I recommend the studio for one person only!

Our rustic house is a typical “casa colonica” situated in Corcapolo, nestled in Centovalli a valley in the district of Locarno in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. Corcapolo is a tiny hamlet with a small church and winding footpaths. Nearby are the famous village of Intragna as well as numerous other historic places to visit including Ponte Romano from the 16th century and the cool waters of river Melezza. Within an easy drive are Locarno, Ascona, Lago Maggiore, and even Piedmont, Italy.

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. Romantic, traditional rustico overlooking the mountain range of the Ghiridone. The house is located in Costa above Intragna, accessible by car. Cable car closed until about 2026. Open fireplace in the old style, combined kitchen and living room and sleeping in the same room, balcony with top views and terrace which invites you to sunbathe. Shower/toilet in the basement, accessible via external stairs. Hot water with electric boiler.

Nature lovers! Tropical with waterfall view

Casa Valeggia is located in a quiet residential area. The house has many windows and sun in charming position above the village of Maggia overlooking the waterfall of the Valle del Salto, nestled in a tropical garden, fully fenced and with a small swimming pool. Close to the house there is the possibility to swim in the river or at the waterfall. Recommended for people seeking tranquility, hikers and in search for privacy and contact with nature. Breath the fresh air from the valley.

Located opposite the first village of the Centovalli Valley, Corcapolo, at an altitude of 350 m, the terrace, the proximity to the Melezza river and the lack of neighbors are particularly appreciated by visitors. The house can be reached on foot in 30 minutes via a comfortable footpath. The free street parking lot is less than 20 minutes by car from Locarno.

Beautiful Rustic Mountain Home

Relax with the whole family in this brand new "Rustico la Pezza" accommodation located in a quiet place surrounded by nature. The cottage has a terrace with views of the valley and mountains. The cottage can be reached on foot in about 5 minutes from the road. Lionza can be reached by car in 25 minutes from Ascona. It is a village located at an altitude of 800m that offers a view of all the Centovalli, being able to admire its idyllic villages and imposing mountains.

Casa Cincilla über dem Lake Maggiore

My apartment belongs to Ronco and has a magnificent view over Lake Maggiore. Distance to the village of Ronco: 10 minutes on foot. The "Cimitero" (cemetery) bus stop is 50 meters from the entrance. Ronco (353 m above sea level) has 700 inhabitants and 4 restaurants. Distance to Ascona: 15 minutes by car. The apartment was completed in 2016. It is small (28 square meters) but nice (all new high-quality equipment). This apartment is a non-smoking apartment.

You’ll find the small alpine town Camedo where the Insubric line, the border line and the train line all meet up. There we live in our 100+ year old stone house. Your airbnb Studio is on the groundfloor with its own entrance, adjoining bathroom, and outside a small garden terrace with relaxing view over mountains and valley. We are easily reached by car and the trainstation is about 7 minutes walking distance.

Our Rustico is lovingly restored. The old substance is combined with modern architecture and building technology. Our tastefully furnished house has two floors and is south-facing. Thus, all three rooms have full sunlight. In addition to fig and olive trees, the garden has a large seating area and a pergola overgrown with vines provides the necessary shade in summer.

Cà la Rocca - spectacular views / unique view

The guest apartment of the proud stone house Cà la Rocca in the cypress grove is a special place for relaxation and recreation. The lake view over the islands, the medieval village and the mountains is one of the most beautiful in Ticino. The loggia and garden with many cozy places invite you to linger.
