We stayed at Coastal View for a month and had a wonderful time. Location is brilliant; especially when planning on surfing. The apartment was well equipped and totally sufficient for our stay. Looking forward to coming back!

This was my second stay at Coastal View in 2 years. I'm also returning next week for an additional 7 days before leaving Barbados. A guest can expect a clean and quiet visit with all the necessary amenities to relax with only a 2 minute walk to Freights Bay.

The flat is in an excellent location right next to a great surf spot and a 20 minute walk to the beach and Oistins bay fish market where you can get excellent food. The Air conditioning is really quiet but still powerfu- it has a handy auto function so you can just set the temperature and let it do its thing in the night. Flat was clean and tidy, well laid out and the host left some beers and soft drinks in the fridge for us. All in all I would highly recommend and will certainly be staying here again in the future!

Fabulous little studio room with every thing we needed.the view from our deck on the beach was amazing,loved sitting under the umbrella and swimming in the sea with the turtles. Thankyou so much to Larry and Reagan such lovely people.

We both absolutely loved staying at Larry & Regan's place for 5 nights - wish we could have stayed longer. The location is perfect - right on the beach, especially if you like surfing, watching turtles (!) and a less touristy vibe. Oistins is fun and a 15 min walk away and chicken Rita's which I'd recommend had the best chicken on the island & is a 20 min walk. We'd love to come back at some point. Book now if you can find availability - it's v popular, with good reason :)

We had a wonderful stay at Cotton House 1 for 2 weeks. The location is perfect, the beach superb and both Larry & Reagan couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. We are looking forward to another visit next year!!

The quality / price ratio of the accommodation gives him five stars, this does not mean that you will find what you could find by staying in a resort on the west coast, but we assure you that the location on the enchanting spot of Freights will be the best you can find on the island! The studio apartment is small and has all the essentials you will need. If you want to spend your time in Barbados indoors, choose Austria! Larry & Regan are perfect hosts and will make you feel part of the family and not just guests.

A perfectly peaceful place to retreat in a secure property in a safe area. Larry and Regan are lovely hosts, great communications, hospitable and organised. Clean en suite room with all you’d need in a house in the perfect location for myself on a pretty beach suitable for swimming on one half and surfing on the other. With room 2 comes the lower seafront balcony with umbrella, perfect spot to chill and read. A 15/20 minute stroll into Oistins is perfect of an evening to stretch the legs and grab some fish from one of the fish market grills. Larry offers a private tour of the island also which is highly recommended. If it’s available for your dates, stop reading this and book it quick. Thank you chaps 🙏🏽

This was a quiet cosy place in Freights Bay. Ideal for one person if you are comfortable walking, you are a 20-25min walk from Oistins. You can get groceries from Massey shops and have access to three ATM machines. If you are surfing I highly recommend Barbados school of surf, the owner is named Boadie. He will pick you up at Driftwood and take you to a few different spots in the island. I liked having access to laundry and a fridge, WiFi and cable. All amenities were in tip top shape and working order.

The apartment is a lovely stylish space, well equipped and located close to beaches, the balcony benefits from the breeze, I would like to return soon

Location great! Lovely trees and garden. Just right for two people. Would recommend renting a car to explore the island.

relaxing and quiet place to stay in. the wifi did not work during the duration of our stay but we needed a social media break anyways so it was kind of a blessing. the place is also close to everything by car which helped us save time and money(gas is expensive). i recommend this place.

Great indications provided ahead of time to reach the location, which is easily accessible from the airport. Warm welcome by Mary into the cosy bungalow located in the back of the garden. Cold and delicious bottle of home made rhum punch ready for us in the fridge! The bungalow is spacious, decorated with taste and fully equipped to cook and stay over longer periods. The separate bedroom is quiet, comfortable and relaxing with a powerful AC. Nice covered terrace with complete intimacy. Some mosquitos in the evening but a very efficient electric raquette is provided. A great beach is just across the busy coastal road, really within 2 mns walking distance. A times the planes in landing preparation fly over the area. Overall a great week in Mary & Nicholas bungalow!

The place is pristine! Right in front of the beach and near one of the local hot spots. Mary was a very attentive and gracious host.

Delightful Cottage Enjoyed a three night stay in this light and airy well equipped character property. The cottage had a huge extremely comfortable bed with lovely bed sheets. WiFi connection was excellent. Great to have coffee, tea, milk, bananas and of course Mary B’s exceptional rum punch available on arrival. The location was very good as it is close to a large supermarket, a cafe and across the road from a wonderful beach. Mary B is a wonderful host and we would highly recommend staying at her amazing cottage.

Photos of the cottage are great but it is better & larger in reality. Bed is incredibly comfortable & very high spec throughout without being pretentious. Our hosts could not do enough for us, even kindly giving us a lift to the airport & there were very thoughful touches throughout the cottage. The beach is a stone's throw away & was one of the best - because we visited a few. Public transport is very good & cheap with regular buses throughout the day, which take you to all the popular places. Please visit the cottage, you won't be disappointed & will have a fantastic time.

When booking Air BNB, it pays to read other travellers reviews. All of them. I read all of the reviews for Mary's cottage before I booked and it paid dividends. My girlfriend and I have just spent the past 10 days there. The cottage is delightful and has everything that you could possibly need. The location is immediately opposite Welches beach which is picture postcard and on almost every occasion, we were the only people on the beach as far as the eye could see in either direction. The cottage is tastefully decorated, airconditioned, has a private outdoor space with an outside shower (handy when returning from the beach) as well as a hammock and a BBQ if the fresh fish and rice and peas at Oistins across the road becomes too much. Handy for the local supermarket too and Surfers Café which though closed for refurbishment during most of our stay, serves the best rum punch that we experienced (notwithstanding Mary's own which was the best introduction imaginable after a long flight). I truly doubt there is anywhere in Barbados that represents better value for money. If you are a single person or a couple looking for that perfect getaway from it all, this is the place to do it. Enjoy it as much as we did!

We loved our stay at Mary and Nicholas’ place. It was perfect for getting to the beach and Oistins, and felt private all at the same time. Mary looked after us brilliantly by helping out with any tips before we arrived and made helpful recommendations during our stay. There is no doubt that we will be booking to stay here on our next visit!

This is a beautiful, traditional little cottage which has everything you could want and in a fantastic location. Mary was a great host, always quick to respond and taking time to welcome us with a rum punch and talk us through her recommendations and advice for our stay in Barbados. I couldn't fault our stay here and would certainly recommend it to anyone visiting the island.

Conveniently located close to Miami Beach and surfing spots, clean, a lot of towels are provided, the kitchen is fully equipped. During our stay we had everything we needed. Welcome drinks were a very kind gesture! To future travellers I would recommend renting a car to explore the island, there is plenty of parking available.

Located in a quite neighborhood, coastal view apts was very clean and close to everything you could need. We rented a car for our trip and were glad to find a secured area for parking. Our host, Angela was very quick to respond to anything we asked for and are looking forward to returning next year.

Perfect place to stay if you like surfing🏄🏻

The location of the apartment is the best! You can walk to the surfer‘s beach within 1 or 2 minutes, where I often enjoyed my morning coffee. Also, Oistins is just a 15 min walk along the coast. The area felt pretty safe, and we often returned home kinda late. Regarding the area and location, the apartment comes with a good price :). Talking about Barbados in general - we loved it! Also Oistins is great, not too touristy and with easygoing surfer vibes :)

So our stay was great, the location was awesome... You have a few beaches walking distance withing 5 mins... Enterprise being my favourite right next to miami beach, the views are lovely to and from apartment a little cliff over looking the turquoise waters.. Place was clean tidy very much better then I expected, only improvement would be maybe mosquito nets by the bed, they were on the windows but I got bitten alot even with closing the windows.. The host left some fizzy drinks and beers, water and milk in the fridge lovey touches and the rooms were nice and let alit of light in. We were pleased with out stay and would happily go back. This is the perfect place if you are wanting to surf in Barbados. It is literally a 2 minute walk to Freights which is a mellow surf break, perfect for beginners to improvers. Another spot called South Point is a 10 minute walk away. The local beach is called Enterprise/Miami and is a 10 minute walk and is a great spot to relax. There's a food truck called Mr Declicious there that does the best Roti and is very reasonable. The supermarket is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive, Oistins fish fry is a 15 minute walk and you can get to the Gap by local bus in 15 minutes. There's no noise from traffic as it's on a quiet residential road and the neighbours are all lovely. The apartment itself is as described. It's clean, everything works, the beds are comfortable, the shower is great, good internet connection and the air-con works. Having essentials in the fridge on arrival (beer and water) was a nice touch, as were the towels for use at the beach. I'd happily stay here again and would recommend it to other guests

Beautiful Cosy two bedroom with a view of the sea. Just a quick walk down to freights with the surfboard, this home is in an ideal location. Along the coastal road it's about a 10 minute walk to Miami Beach and a 15 minute walk to oistins fish fry. Couldn't be happier and we'll miss this place

Accommodation with exceptional charm, perfect placement. The view is just sublime. Access to the almost private beach is a rare luxury. What a pleasure to have breakfast watching the turtles swim in the waves! Hoping to go back one day ... NB: just be aware of the sound of the waves, or make arrangements.

Clean and simple apartment with a fantastic view over Freights. We loved the little patio and that it was only a few steps into the sea. Larry and Regan were wonderful hosts: friendly, knowledgeable and hospitable.

We loved our stay at Regan and Larry's apartment. You're right on the beach and can see sea turtles right from the window. They provided airport pick-up and drop-off, plus tons of tips on what to see and do. The apartment is within walking distance from Oistin's fish fry, and the cost of the apartment was super affordable. Regan and Larry were outstanding hosts, and we look forward to staying with them again in the future.

Regan and Larry are the nicest and most helpful hosts we've ever encountered. They truly want your stay to be perfect and will help in any way needed, including tips for local activities/attractions, amenities needed and fixing any issues that may arise. The space is very close to the Oistins fish market/fry and has a stunning view. The sound of the waves will serenade you to sleep and their semi private deck is perfect to watch the sunset and have a drink. Thanks again Regan and Larry and please give Foxy the Jack Russell Terrier a pat for us.

perfect place. a lot bigger than the pictures show and very clean. fully equipped kitchen, 2 nice bedrooms and a comfortable living space. only negative was the low water pressure in the shower.

Very great and very large accommodation. The location is really fantastic! Also super cool that there is a surf school right across the street. We "only" borrowed buggy boards but very funny! You can walk to everything supermarket about 15 minutes. Beach about 10 minutes. Fish market approx. 15 min. You can also get everywhere by bus. The stop comes directly after the beach. From there it is very easy to get back to the airport for 3.50 BD p. Person. The only thing we have to complain about is that a blackout curtain might be great ... We had a freighter in the sea in front of us that was so bright at night ..... Ok for 1-2 nights ... but unfortunately it did very disturbed. The sea sounds are great but of course very loud at night

I loved the apartment, it was clean and right on the beach- an absolute dream! However, do not under any circumstances rent this woman’s car! She told me insurance is included in the rental, however when departing her and her son accused me of getting into an accident. They threatened to call the police until I gave them a further USD 100. I was so scared that I gave them the money and left for the airport straight away. (6hrs before my first flight) I believe this is a scam they play on all guest who rent their cars. It was perfectly rehearsed.

Very spacious and lovely spot. Private beach right out front, that we had all to ourselves - loaded with sea turtles too! We stayed at a few spots on the island, and this location was a great quiet getaway spot. The apartment is bare bones, but it has everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable vacation. the A/C in the bedroom was a lifesaver. Was a quick 10 min walk to hot spots in Oistens. Yildiz's hospitality was top notch. Very communicative, and helped us arrange a rental car and even arranged transport for us to our next destination. Highly recommend.

I have read some of the negative reviews that we left regarding the home and Yildiz and I did not have such an experience. Yildiz was available for me to check in and was upfront and transparent regarding any issues with the home. The AC was making a slight noise which didn't bother me. Plus the waves crashing from the bedroom balcony blocks out any possible distractions. The apartment is located right on the beach and its a quick 5 minute drive to the fish fry. The home was clean and Yildiz provided plenty of extra towels for our use. This place was an excellent value and I would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at Yildiz apartment. The location and the view were perfect. The apartment was brighter and more spacious than in the photos and Yildiz was very helpful and accomodating. We would love to return to this apartment again.

Great value for the money.

Derwin and his family were so welcoming, caring and helpful. It was an honour to be their guest. The Airbnb has the perfect location, 15min away from the airport, 5min walk to the Miami Beach were you can see turtles swimming and 5min away from the Oistins' Fish Market where everyday there's fresh grilled fish. We had the whole apartment for ourselves, it is very comfortable with kitchen, dining room, private bathroom and double bed room. It was quite fresh with fantastic fans and the shower has hot shower. Derwin was very kind and incredibly helpful. I highly recommend staying at his Airbnb!

David and Tracey’s house is fantastic! Great for a couple or for a family. We really enjoyed the backyard and the BBQ that we used to grill some delicious local fish. The location is perfect, only few minutes away from Miami Beach and Freights Bay. Walking distance to the centre of Oistins is around 15 mins. I definitely recommend this place.

David's space was very nice. it felt like home. I cooked almost everyday. he had what I needed and I also washed clothes. that was a plus. I mean who really wants to do laundry when the reach home🤷🏽‍♀️. I'm grateful for his space. even tho there was a grill out side, patio chairs and lawn chairs. I never utilized it. I was gone pretty much a lot for Crop over. but I had a few friends come by for dinner and they said I had the place smelling soooo good. wonder if the neighborhood was hungry🤔😁. much to say that it was a good fit. a nice walk to the beach and residents were just as friendly and nice. give thxs. I really enjoyed my stay.

Great place to stay. House had everything you could need on vacation. Everything worked and WIFI was great. Amazing location, very short walk to the beach, nice and quiet area but close enough to everything you needed, including a full grocery store. House was in great shape, with some very minor wear and tear which should be expected with rentals in this price range. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Highly recommended. The German housekeeper and her husband were in all areas for as long as you wish it. They gave a lot of valuable information, arranged a pick up from the Airport and were super reliable. Perfect stay.

Fell in love with this apartment. It’s cute and cozy and has everything one would need during a stay in Barbados. It’s brand new, and very practical. I needed a place to stay last minute and this worked out perfectly. But I can definitely see myself staying there for a longer period of time! Internet is super reliable, there’s hot water, a kettle, a microwave, a fridge, and the bed is super comfortable. Carl made sure I had everything I needed in the apartment. I would certainly return, it’s a beautiful little place!

This is a fabulous apartment in a superb location. It’s a 3-minute walk to the little surfers’ beach, and a 10-minute walk to beautiful Enterprise Beach. (We wore water shoes at surfers' beach due to rocks in shallows.) We had a great vacation here for the month of February! Communication and support from the owner was excellent for the entire time. Peter is a truly outstanding host. Apartment has a very good layout, both bedrooms have great closet space, the kitchen is well-equipped (we bought groceries at supermarket in Oistins), and bathroom is nicely renovated. Excellent, fast Wi-Fi; also TV with many channels. A/C in bedrooms, ceiling fan in living room and always fantastic cross-breeze. We loved early morning walks east along the shore drive, swimming in gentle waves, watching sunsets from front porch or surfers' beach. We miss it already!

Peter was highly accommodating, allowing us to check-in super-early when other potential hosts would not. The apartment is located in a quiet area that’s a stone’s throw away from surfing, a short walk to Miami Beach and Oistins. The best part was the wonderful Ocean breeze that blew through the apartment all day. I highly recommend this place and the host.

We have just arrived home after a week at Yildiz’s house. It was extremely spacious. We had 5 adults, 1 teenager and 2 children that stayed and we were all extremely comfortable. We were also able to host visitors in the evenings. The WiFi connection is great, very close to the beach and had everything we could need in the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Yildiz was on hand to help with any local tips. We would definitely book this property again. Miami Beach is 10 mins walk away as is Oistins. Local transport is a few mins away on the main road and we had no issue in getting around as a group of 11. We even saw a group of monkeys on the street!! Quiet location with beautiful views of the sea.

It is a lovely house,by all means very spacious and location is great,,you hear the ocean at night while you enjoy the balcony area..She is very helpfull with everything.We are definetly going back and definetly staying at her place.The place is very close to miami beach which is one of the best beaches in Barbados,also very close to Oistins Fish Fry (real fun )...We had a great time.

We had a fantastic holiday in Barbados. The unit has amazing sea views and is only few mins walk from Surfers Bay and restaurant. We enjoyed the daily walks to near by Miami Beach. Newly renovated and everything you need to enjoy your stay in Barbados.

Nan's place is everything the pictures show and more. 10 seconds walk to ocean where the sunsets are stunning, spotlessly clean, and with everything you need to cook and enjoy a meal while listening to the waves crashing. Would recommend a car for ease of getting around, but it's only a 20 min walk up to where you can grab a ZR and get anywhere on the south coast. If you're looking for a place a little off the beaten path and in a real neighborhood but still within reach of everything, this is it.

The flat was very clean and spacious, we enjoyed our stay at Nan's place. It's in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The location is good for surfing in the south & south west, and close to Oistins for local food. There are also nice beaches around. We definitely preferred this area than the west coast where is packed with hotels and tourist traps.

Loved this apartment. Very clean, updated and all the amenities you need. Right by the ocean so you get all the sea breeze during the day and night. Hosts were very professional, prompt and helpful with any questions or concerns I had. Would definitely recommend this place and I would definitely be back. Also it’s highly recommend to rent a car.

We had a great stay, the apartment is ideally located on the south coast of the island. The apartment is new, tastefully decorated and above all very functional. It's a real pleasure to get up and have breakfast on the terrace facing the ocean. Atmosphere very pleasant thanks to the breeze coming from the sea and the air-conditioned room. Nan is very good advice and is very reactive. We highly recommend this heavenly place.

We had a lovely week at Dagny’s house. It is well equipped and we felt very secure and comfortable. The veranda is a most relaxing place and we spent most evenings there. We did see the monkeys once! I would recommend that guests rent a car, not only for trips to the supermarket but to enjoy all of Barbados. We visited every parish and discovered many fascinating places.

This place is really beautifully decorated. We especially loved the master bedroom upstairs. It’s very bright and breezy and nicely furnished. The downstairs is a bit dark because of the trees around but we didn’t mind at all. It was a wonderful stay and we would definitely come back. Margaret the caretaker was very sweet and super responsive. She helped us out with a lot of things.

Just a wonderful place, we had a great time and our son, 3, loves the house. We will come back for sure ❣️

Driftwood is ideally located; close to Miami Beach and a short walk from Oistins fish market and restaurants. The house was quiet and very relaxing. It offered plenty of space and is well appointed. It exceeded my expectations - I will definitely be returning to stay there again! I highly recommend staying here

'Driftwood' is a gem tucked in a typical Bajan neighborhood, minutes from a beach and from the bustling fishing town of Oistins. The house has plenty of room - we are a family of four and each of our sons had his own room - and a wonderful wrap-around porch perfect for breakfast, playing board games, or just reading. There are also extra touches to make a visit more pleasant: books to read, a charcoal grill, seating in the lush garden, an outdoor shower, optional A/C in the bedrooms. Margaret was just a phone call away for questions and Denise, the housekeeper, couldn't have been more helpful and kind.

It is the first time in airnbnb that I’ve got much more than I had expected. All of the positive reviews are true. The house is big and adorable in all its cute and beautiful details, and the reality is even better than the photos! We have found here all of the necessary utensils and devices in good condition and felt like home, enjoying every moment spent here! The location is also quite good, near the most picturesque beaches: 5 minutes to the turtles and 15 minutes walking to the Miami beach and fish market. The garden is beautiful and equipped with grill and dinner furniture, sometimes family of monkeys visit it) Finally, I can say, that this stylish and cozy house became home of our dream, where we spent the happiest weeks

Great house in a quite neighborhood. The porch is amazing and we spent all our mornings and evenings out there with the monkeys. The house is close to the beach and a short drive to Oistins or the gap. Communication with Dagny was easy and efficient.

Great value for money. Not a luxury, but very comfortable and perfect location. Almost right on the beach and very close (walking distance) to nightlife, restaurants and other infrastructure. Dwayne is very competent, always available and helpful.

What an amazing stay! We loved Eves Ville apartments. The location was great and minutes away from all the restaurants and bars and beach access. The apartment was clean and comfortable. There is a lovely little cafe called Bliss about a minute from the apartment; they make amazing breakfasts. Dwayne is a great host and even provided a bbq for us to have family dinners. Anything you need just ask Dwayne 😉 You were an awesome host, Thank you. Looking forward to our next visit.

Accommodation was fine but Dwayne made the stay more fun, top guy, ended up drinking with him in the Gap which was cool. Did a day tour with him which was good to, to see the island.

Island dream! Best Place to see the most beautiful sunsets right off the front porch. We come from a very touristy area and this is not one of them. It was located next to some very peaceful beaches.

We have just spent two wonderful weeks at the Dragonfly Apartment. Peter was a perfect host giving us a very warm welcome, and he kept on regular contact throughout our stay to check if we needed anything, let us know about events going on in the area etc. The apartment was extremely well equipped (we didn't want for anything) and was spotless on arrival and after our weekly visit from the cleaner. The location was our favourite, just a few steps away from Cotton/Freights Bay (my husband got to surf every day), spectacular views of the Caribbean Ocean and the sunset right from our veranda. Then a 10 minute walk to Enterprise Beach, 15 minutes to Oistins. All in all a fantastic host and accommodation and will definitely be back.

Peter was there to meet us upon arrival with a chilled bottle of rum punch! What a great way to start a holiday. Fantastically located property, metres away from the steps that lead down to Freights Bay. Spectacular sunset views and you can see the waves from your front porch. Miami Beach is a 10 minute walk away and Oistens about 15. The property is newly refurbished with a very well equipped kitchen and modern bathroom. Both bedrooms were air conditioned. Peter couldn't do enough for us while we were there. So if you want a property in a fantastic location, with a great host, I'd book this while you get the chance!

The Apartment is a perfect place to stay! We got everything we needed, a great kitchen,a comfortable living- and sleepingroom with aircondition, a modern bathroom and a nice place to sit outside. The location was perfect to us,just a short walk to the surfing spot and to Miami Beach. Peter was a perfect host, he welcomed us with a rumpunch, explained everything we needed to know, and gave us a ride to the fishmarket at the first evening. I can fully recommend it and would be glad to come back.

Peter’s property is located in a convenient location on the south coast. From walking to Miami Beach in minutes to watching the sunset over the sea from the patio, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook your meals. Great value for everything you get.

Lovely modernised villa. Wonderfully equipped with great kitchen, TV/WiFi, shower room. Greta location especially if you surf. Just a few yards from the house are steps down to Freights Bay - great for surf Dec -April. Not so good for little kids swimming. No need for a car. Oistins is about 20 mins walk has excellent fish fry cafes and a great supermarket (full of Waitrose products!). We’ll be back!

I had a wonderful stay at Surfer's shack.

Mia & Mike are truly fantastic! They will become superhosts on AirBNB if they are not already. Mia kept in touch via WhatsApp with me before our trip started, booked us a taxi driver to pick and drop us off at airport. We arrived in Barbados early, and they were nice enough to let us store our luggage in their home while they apartment was cleaned and had a lovely chat and coffee with them in their home. They provided us with many tips and recommendations on things to do on the island, how to get around, etc. The surfers shack is perfect, very cozy, with everything we needed, relaxing outside patio with hammock, outdoor shower to rinse off from the ocean, and is perfectly located 30 second walk from the Cotton Bay Sea Window and 5 min walk from Ride The Tide surf school. We rented surfboards from Ride the Tide (who were amazing!) for 100$ USD for the entire week and surfed for 2-3 hrs every morning which was perfect for beginners like us and was truly magical surfing within arms reach of sea turtles. We became friends with other surfers and had such a blast in the water every day. Other highlights include taking the local taxi vans (for 3.50$ Barbados each) blaring Caribbean music to Carlisle bay and snorkeling to sea a shipwreck, relaxing on Miami beach (10 min walk away) and Freights bay beach (30 seconds away), walking to Oistins (20 min walk) to check out Surfers Bay Beach bar (must see), the Friday night "Fish Fry" aka Party (must see). There is a market in Oistins where we did all of our grocery shopping and an ATM if you need to pull out cash. Overall, probably both my partners and I's favorite vacation, and we will be coming back! Thanks Mia & Mike!

OMG!! Where do I begin? On a scale of 1 - 10, Surfer's Shack is a 15. Mike and Mia are definite 15's. It's as if they lived in the Shack for a month before renting it. Everything you could possibly need has been provided, and then some. My flight was delayed and didn't get in until midnight. Not only did they arrange for my transportation, but the kitchen was stocked with everything I would need for breakfast! I did not rent a car as I was traveling by myself and thought driving on the left and sightseeing at the same time would be a recipe for disaster. Not to worry! Surfer's Shack is within walking distance of multiple beaches, a grocery store, the open air markets and more places for eating and drinking than I can list, including the famous fish fry. There are a number of tours offered by various groups. I suggest that you sign up for at least one. Not only will you see the sights, but you will have running commentary from the drivers along the way. Mia checked and double checked to make sure I was actually registered for the tours that I selected and she and Mike happily offered to drive me to pick up places since I was not staying at a registered hotel. I am accustomed to traveling by myself and the location of the Shack and the island in general was totally safe. Use your common sense: if you wouldn't walk around at midnight at home, don't do it in Barbados. With that being said: Talk to the locals!! They are very respectful and won't bother you, but say Good Morning first or ask questions. Everyone I met was friendly and glad to answer any questions that I had. Surfer's Shack is a hidden gem. If it is booked for the dates that you want, check with Mia and Mike. They have several other properties and I have no doubt you will be equally happy with those. Enjoy Barbados!! If you can't find something to do... you aren't looking hard enough. One week was not adequate for my to do list!! I'll be back! Thank you Mia and Mike!!

Mia & Mike's guest house checks all the boxes! Private, extremely clean and comfortable studio located a block from a beautiful beach where you can surf, swim with turtles and watch the sunset. The patio/garden area is great! Close to everything, but in a quiet, safe neighbourhood. We cook most of our own meals and we had everything we needed. Wifi is excellent. Mike & Mia are right there if you need anything. I can’t say enough about the Surfer’s Shack ❤️

Fantastic use of space in this small apartment. All mod cons, tastefully decorated and a pleasant, leafy outdoor area too, very private, with barbecue and hammock. Superking comfy bed, fans, airconditioning, even a large tv if one felt inclined to stay indoors. Washing and drying facilities. Large, fluffy towels for shower and swim. Excellent internet reception. Located right beside beautiful Cotton Bay surf beach which is ideal for beginners. 10 minute walk into lively Oistins past the beautiful Miami Beach. An excellent holiday location on a beautiful island with friendly locals, and best of all, exceptional attention from Mike and Mia, who were unstintingly generous with their time when we needed help or advice. These people have thought of everything for their guests' comfort. By far the best Airbnb we have stayed in. Only drawbacks we found on Barbados in general is the high price for food in shops and markets.

Quiet, clean, fully furnished for a beach vacation. Barbados is fun and easy to explore. Spending time on the surfer's beach was a delight. A quick walk to dinner and shops. Pretty perfect in my book.

This was our second stay at Christy’s villa. We really love the spot. The kids enjoyed the pool on non beach days. The place was very clean there was tons of space. Ianthe was very responsive to any questions we had. The Villa is a 15 minute walk to Miami Beach and 20 to Oistins (restaurants and markets). We will definitely rebook for our next visit to Barbados.

You won’t be disappointed with this accommodation, plenty of space and good size bedrooms and eating area. The area is safe and within easy reach of a lovely beach. The local town has plenty of facilities and it’s easy to get the bus into Kingstown. The host and caretaker is very informative about the area which makes your stay even smoother.

It is a perfect place for holiday. The Coral Cove Cottage had everything we needed. Scott is very helpful, kind and welcoming and responses very quickly. Cottage is about 5 min to white sand Miami beach (you can swim with turtles)... 10 min to shopping area and Oistins fish market. A lookout viewpoint (20seconds from the cottage) on the ocean and sunset is amazing.

Scott is a awesome host. Really responsive and helpful with any questions we had. The place is perfectly located if you want to enjoy Oistins and still be in a beautiful and quiet location just out of town. Also perfect for surfing nearby at Freights bay and hanging with the turtles.

The cottage is a sweet location! For the money you can't ask for more. The view of the ocean day and night is a million dollar vista literally at your doorstep. The breezes are magical and everything you need is in the cottage. The bed is comfy and the cottage is quiet and private. Scott is fabulous and available to help with anything that might come up. My recommendation is that this is best suited to a couple that is familiar and comfortable with each other as the bathroom door isn't completely private. The kitchen is large and the bedroom closets are big enough to tuck the clothes and the suitcases away and make room for yourselves. I highly recommend this sweet spot; you will not be disappointed. We sat watching turtles every morning, watched the sunset every evening and sat looking at the stars every night.

The accommodation was nice and comfortable, with everything you need for a vacation. Own cottage with its own parking lot was great! Scott is very kind and helpful! The location in Barbados is perfect - the most beautiful beaches and very good cheap food nearby :) I would go there again in a heartbeat!

Although there is a site build taking place adjacent to the cottage if you are out most of the day then it’s of little impact. They don’t start until 8 and are gone by 4. No work at weekends. There is a small deck area at the side away from the site for enjoying a leisurely breakfast or evenings drink. Great shower and most comfortable double bed. Cottage is ideal for Miami and Enterprise beach just a sort walk and an early morning swim is recommended. Comfy beach chairs available to use on the beach which I’ve never seen too busy. Scott is a charming host and I will happily return.

The house fully matches the description. Spacious and comfortable. Having three bathrooms is very convenient. Both bedrooms have air conditioning. The beds and mattresses are very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, oven, electric hob, and refrigerator. There is also a washing machine. All appliances are working properly. Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, and we watched movies online without any problems. The backyard terrace is also nice. The pool is quite large and deep, regularly cleaned. The street is quiet and pretty. I don't mention roosters, they are everywhere in Barbados. The best beach on the island and the bus stop is a 15-minute walk away. There is a nice little shop on the way to the bus stop. If you do not like to walk, you will need to rent a car or call a taxi. The owners were very friendly and always ready to help. We were in Barbados for the first time and their advice was very helpful. I definitely recommend spending a vacation in this wonderful house.

Travelled as a family for a wedding. Had a lovely stay. Everything is as described. The house has everything you would need. We never once felt unsafe in the house or the surrounding area. The house is a little out of the way but not did not inconvenience us in any way. We had a great week

Cassandra's house was so homely it was like walking into a friends house. She has everything you may need in the kitchen and more. The Kids room has books, toys & beach gear. I love how everyone leaves all the little extras they're not going to need like sunscreen and mosquito spray. It's really close to oistins & miami beach.

Cassandra was one of the best host I've had on Airbnb. I came to Barbados with my wife, mom, daughter, & little twin sisters to celebrate their bday. She made sure we were completely comfortable & had everything we needed, she even had another AC unit installed in the kids bedroom, much appreciated. The house is much bigger than what you see in the pictures. Her wifi may be better than what I have at home & I'm a gamer lol, she even had a Xbox (even though I'm a Sony user). Location was great, very quiet neighborhood and 5 min car drive from oinstons, where you will find great food and entertainment. She had self check-in which I loved, fast & easy. The house was clean & great amenities. I could go on & on but no one's like to read long reviews, you will be very disappointed if you skip over Cassandras house & you're going to pay more,(like I did) double whammy lol. I had to cancel my 1st Airbnb that was double the price and not suitable for my family, that host was a great guy btw. Lastly I appreciate Cassandra for putting up with the 1 million questions I had per day, she responded extremely fast and had tons of information on things to do. Cassandra house is a win win, don't hesitate, Book!

Cassandra’s place is clean, new, good equipped and the king size is soooooo comfortable! Highly recommended for anyone. We’re there with 6 people for a surf trip. Perfect located to freights and surfers point. I do recommend a rental. Safe on her property and the island is very easy to go around! We drove around the island at least 4 times to different surf brakes - amazing! We’ll be back.

Stayed at Coville for 8 weeks and it certainly didn’t disappoint, it’s my 3rd year in a row staying at this beautiful home. The neighbourhood is very safe and super friendly, the house is sparkling clean , open the windows for a refreshing breeze. The kitchen has pots, pans, cutlery and crockery, which makes it easy for cooking family meals, the garden has breadfruit and mango trees and lots of space to hang washing, the added bonus of a washing machine at no extra cost!! Kathryn is a super host, answers questions immediately and also sent me a video of Coville, so we knew exactly how the house would be. Sheilah, who lives next door is readily available to answer any questions re navigating the island and she always has a warm smile when she meets and greets you. I have no hesitation of re booking Coville.... it is fabulous, just wish I could keep it as my hidden gem.

Coville is a fantastic property, it's an older Bajan home, super clean, and easy to keep clean. Always plenty of hot water to shower, has a separate toilet, a huge bonus when there's a group of you staying. Modern washing machine, and ceiling fans in the 2 main bedrooms. Safe and friendly neighbourhood and buses stop right outside the door!! Only a 15 minute stroll to Miami Beach. Can't wait to return

If I had more vacation time, I would have stayed longer! Coville is a bright, beautiful home with all the necessities in a friendly neighbourhood. I loved that the house is located on a main road – it’s 10-15 mins walking distance to the town of Oistins, Miami Beach, and Freights Bay surf spot. You can also catch the bus right outside the door! The kitchen with full-size fridge was very useful, as well as the separate sinks in each bedroom. The bathroom is divided – the shower and toilet are behind two separate doors – which turned out to be an awesome configuration for our group. (Nobody hogging the bathroom!) There’s a brand new massive washing machine and the laundry can be hung in the backyard to dry. The only troubles I had were subjective... Being a light sleeper, sometimes the local traffic or neighbours’ dogs woke me up at night. Nothing that some earplugs (or a couple extra rum punches) can’t fix. I was a bit worried about not having air conditioning, but by the second night I was fully acclimatized to the Bajan breeze and brand new ceiling fan. The host (Kathryn) and her next-door neighbour (Aunt Sheilah) are some of the kindest and most generous people I’ve ever met. They are always willing to help and want to share their knowledge and love of Barbados. Thank you so much for an easy and memorable visit!

Little Eden is a home away from home. We were immediately greeted by Mr. Phillip when we arrived and he gave us a tour of place. It was very cozy and each bedroom has air condition and a ceiling fan. To take a nice sea bath is about a five minute walk away (we walked to the beach every day)Mr. Phillip was always a call away and was very helpful whenever we needed assistance. During our stay, we saw four monkeys, a humming bird, crabs and a black cat lurking around. Oistins was not too far either.... probably a 10 minute walk. We specifically came for Cropover and relaxation and we got exactly that. Would definitely stay at Little Eden if we should return to Barbados.

Little Eden was the perfect location for our trip to Barbados. It was close to multiple surf spots for my husband. It was only a few houses down from Freights which is a great surf spot for beginners. We were able to walk or drive to Oistins and St. Lawrence Gap in <15 min. Philip quickly responded to any questions we had. The house was right across the street from the water and had a nice front porch with a grill (great for grilling fish from Oistins fish market). There were clean towels and linens for beds. We would definitely stay there again!

Philip is a great host and the location cannot be more perfect for surfing And other local activities. I arrived at 5am and Philip promptly answered my call and opened the door for me. Philip is probably one of the best hosts I’ve ever met.

Great place to stay close to freights bay!

Little Eden is a great little cozy place in a beautiful quiet part of Barbados on the South Coast near Oistins practically overlooking the beach. It can easily accommodate 4 persons in 2 small rooms one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds. There is also a small living / dining room with cable TV as well as good high speed internet all included in the price. Parking for one small car is also on the premises, secure and away from the main access road. Little Eden is good value for money. Yes it is a bit aged (nothing that a little paint can't enhance) but all the basic amenities are there including air-conditions and ceiling fans in both bedrooms and a well equipped small kitchen for those who enjoy cooking. We even had a couple of local Beers in the fridge as well as other starter items waiting for us :) There is also access to a washing machine in a covered area just out the back door. Safe and easy. Little Eden's location just two minutes walk from the famous Freights Bay makes it even more special, and a short 10 minute walk takes you to a more public beautiful white sand beach great for families and kids. The fishing town of Oistins is a mere 3 minute drive and has a local Massy Store (grocery) and great local food and drinks sold from small shops just off the sidewalk. All very cosy and typical Caribbean flavor cuisine. Mr Williams was a pleasure to deal with and was always a phone call or Whatsapp away. He lives just down the small drive way in the back of Little Eden and is always willing and eager to ensure your total comfort. I definitely recommend Little Eden to anyone who is looking for a fully furnished small two bedroom well equipped kitchen on the South Coast of Barbados. A great place to create great memories.

Definitely served its purpose for me as close to the airport and not far from fish fry market . I felt safe walking to the bus stop at night, very quiet area where you stay so that’s good. Bus ride to fish fry was less than 10mins and Miami Beach is next to it, it was superb. I love Barbados my 3rd time here. Great value, simple and easy for your budget

I will stay at Carl’s place again. He was really fast at communicating and helpful in all ways. Check in was easy. I arrived at night and for a small extra fee he offered to pick me up. Even though I was delayed a bit he wasn’t upset. I appreciated that. He also arranged a lift for me when I needed to be somewhere. And told me how the public transport works. Which i made use of a lot. It is easy to get public transport from his place. The apartment has everything you need for a few night’s stay. I enjoyed staying there.

It was our second time at Freightsbay House and we especially enjoyed the huge terrace and the large open spaces. Nevertheless, the house offers privacy. In the morning we could see the turtles appearing in the sea and in the evening there was a gang of monkeys in the neighboring garden. If you have any questions, Philipp is always available and happy to provide information about life in Barbados. We had a super relaxed and good time and would love to come back!

We loved our stay at Philip's rental! The home is older and could use a few updates, but the location and front porch views more than make up for whatever the interior is wanting. Our favorite part of the house was the front porch. You can watch the waves and even spot turtles from the shaded comfort of the front porch. The perfect place to enjoy breakfast or a cup of tea. We also loved that we could walk to Freight's Bay everyday to go surfing. The house was so close we could easily walk back to the house for a drink or to make a quick lunch. We hope to visit Philip's Freights Bay House again soon.

This beautiful Bajan home was in the perfect location where you could walk 15 minutes down to Miami Beach & Oistins where you get the best fish. The house has a lovely view and a wonderful house keeper who made sure that we had fresh towels and bedding throughout our stay.

Freights Bay house is a classic Bajan home which is ideally suited to those who love to hang out on the porch watching glimpses of surf rolling into Freights Bay. As a family of 4 we thoroughly enjoyed the easy access to the surf, quiet waters of Miami beach and the short walk to the local fish market. Phillip is a fantastic and responsive host who was very quick to address questions and to ensure our stay was a comfortable one. Many Thanks.

Just left Freights Bay Mews. Had a wonderful stay. Lovely location and great host. Within walking distance of the great Miami Beach and also close to the nightlife at Oistins. Thoroughly recommended.

These villas were AMAZING! I arranged a Girl's Trip for my 35th Birthday. It was 9 of us total. We rented both villas. There were 4 people in one house and 5 in the other. Only 2 of us had to share a bed, but the King Bed in the master was comfortable for us. We all shared all of the bathrooms and no one really had to wait to use the facilities. The villas are gated and private. The only downfall to this location is that you have to walk to get to the beach. The walk to the beach and to Oistins is not bad... 20 minutes, or so. But you definitely will need a taxi to get to St. Lawrence Gap where the night life is. Also there are farm animals... cows and chickens that make noise at all times of the day. Other than this, the space for this number of people was perfect. The only suggestion I have is to rent a car. The taxi drivers on the island tried to get over on us several times. Silvia did reccomend a driver, but even he was expensive. Also, stop at the grocery store Massey's before you go to the villas. Make sure you have snacks and drinks. We utilized the kitchen one day for dinner and that was very nice. There is a little bar/convenient store around the corner... that was nice to walk to and sit and have some beers and get some snacks. I enjoyed being at Freghts Bay Mews a lot. We all did. I would recommend this place to anyone. Silvia communicated to make sure all was well the entire stay. She was very helpful with recommendations on the island. It was truly a pleasure doing business with her.

Great stay at Freight Bay Mews - Silvia and her husband were fantastic hosts. Great communication and local tips prior to and throughout our stay in Barbados. The location is great, just a short walk to Freight Bay and South Point. Short drive into Oistins. Both villas were perfect for our group of 10 people. Can't thank them enough for making our stay perfect!

We had a great time at Silvia’s house! It was within a short walk of Freight Bay and a 5 min drive to Oistens. The house was clean, well-appointed and in a quiet neighborhood. The plunge pool was a great way to cool off at the end of the day, with outdoor seating to hang out in. The bedrooms are air conditioned to keep you comfortable at night. Silvia was responsive without being instructive- sign of a great host! We will definitely be back!

I just spent a week at Silvia's villas with a group of nine and we have nothing but great things to say. Pre-trip, Silvia was very helpful in answering my questions and connecting us with our driver Michael. The villas look exactly like the listing and the house is equipped with everything you'll need for the stay from beach towels, cookware, etc. The house is about a 20 minute walk to Miami beach, very close to Ostins and the area was very safe. Michael, the driver Silvia recommended, is a godsend! He was available day or night for any trip big or small, gave great recommendations and I highly recommend using him. Silvia and her husband were also great in answering any questions we had while there and even went the extra mile to bring one of the ladies a hair dryer to use. For a large group, this is the perfect space and highly recommended!

Very nice villas! They were very clean and modern. The location was only a short walk to the beach too! They were kept very tidy inside and outside and our group had a great time here. Nothing about the stay was subpar, and we would all choose this location a second time were we to stay in Barbados again! Highly Recommended!

Our host, Silvia, met us at the property upon our arrival. She gave us a tour of the villas and the surrounding property. She answered our questions, was knowledgeable about the area, beaches, grocery stores and nearby restaurants. She made us feel welcome and gave us contact numbers in case we encountered any unforeseen issues. The photos in the listing were accurate and the property was better than advertised, had a security system and easy access to Enterprise Coast Road. Parking was adequate and the villa easy to find thanks to the description provided by Silvia. There were towels provided for use at the beach, as well as separate towels for use in the bathrooms. The property has few neighbors so was nice and quiet. There were some tethered goats grazing on open land adjacent to the property and a few feral fowl running around.

Silvia was an incredibly friendly and helpful host and did all she could to make our stay as easy and lovely as possible. She was incredibly helpful with providing info beforehand including how to rent a car, where to visit, and where and eat. She came by the villas to check in on if we needed anything and brought us any extra materials we found necessary. The villas were absolutely beautiful and spacious. Close to the beach and Oistins and a great private space. This is a great place for big groups who want to enjoy a beautiful part of the Barbados. I would definitely suggest staying here.

Great place and private, off the bitten path if you want to be outside of the tourist trap areas. Also very clean and Dwayne is awesome.

Perfect little hideaway in the local Scarborough community- 2 mins from beach & 5 mins from Oistens centre with a variety of bars & eating places. Easy to visit Bridgetown or ‘The Gap’ via the local buses for a few dollars. Derwin and his family made me feel welcome and I would certainly stay again.

Comfortable studio apartment with everything you need and a great host. Location is perfect being close to the fish fry in oistins and Miami beach but also in a quiet area. Fantastic accommodation.

Great value for money and prime location. 5 minutes to the Miami Beach (Enterprise Beach) and to the Oistins Bus Terminal. Derwin and her mom are also very attentive.

An extremely well appointed apartment with plenty of space. We would recommend it as a great place to stay, we appreciated having an hire car. It is close to the airport but we did not hear planes.

Great house and amenities only a 5 min walk to beach and surf. Very well equipped kitchen, spacious and great to have the pool. Great to have the Beach umbrellas and communication was great.

Excellent choice if you want to be central to both west and east sides of the island and also if you want to kiteboard at Silver Sands, which is 5 min away. Fast internet, nice soaking tub, fully equipped kitchen and in-unit washer and dryer. Condo is new and fresh — would definitely stay here again!!

This Condo is one of the best I ever stayed. It is almost new and great for 2 ore more people. Even for families. It is very well equiped (beach chairs, beach umbrellas, top equiped kitchen, netflix, and so on). Yoi'll have everything you need. It is also very good located. Nearby is a nice beach, the famous Oistin fish market and supermarkets. It is also very clean. Great experience and I totally recommend it.
