The flat itself has an ancient tiled stove, but modern heating as well. You can reach the village centre and the shop in a few minutes afoot. A small up-hill stroll grants you with a fantastic view of the Alpstein massif and Lake Constance. The village and near surroundings offer quite some restaurants, hiking paths and the like.
