A beautiful little barn conversion in a beautiful setting on Anglesey

  • Had a great stay with Kathy and Bill. This is a top quality place to stay. We were doing some walking on the Anglesey Coastal Walk and this was a great central location to get out to various parts of the island. Real attention to detail and so much hospitality - will definetly be back even if just for the home made bread and lime marmalade! Thanks again.

  • We loved the comfort and the beauty of this perfect refuge. The view of the mountains and the grounds were amazing. Kathy provided wonderful goodies and both she and Bill were warm and welcoming. We very much hope to return.

  • Can't recommend highly enough. The term superhost doesn't even cover how amazing Kathy and Bill are. A home from home, gorgeous place, everything you possibly need. Just devine. Nothing more to say apart from book it! You won't be dissapointed.

  • A beautiful hideaway in the heart of Anglesey. Warm, cosy and very clean. Kathy is a great host with lots of local recommendations to help make the most of your trip. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a special place to stay in Anglesey.

  • This place is must! My husband, 10 month old son and I had the best two nights away! Stunning views and the cottage is spotless and beautifully done. Gorgeous beaches a short drive away! Kathy and Bill are fabulous! The nicest hosts! We will definitely be back!

    Kate2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to escape. Thoroughly enjoyed the secluded location, although it’s close enough to a great fish and chip shop! The hosts were excellent with little touches such as cakes, milk etc. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a weekend to relax and unwind.

  • Our stay was perfect. We felt at home as soon as we arrived to Kathy's warm welcome. Kathy had made us some home made bread and provided fresh eggs and some Welsh and Scottish sweet treats too. The cottage itself had absolutely everything we needed, it was cosy and warm and we really enjoyed making use of the log burner in the evening. Kathy gave us loads of really helpful tips on where we should visit on Anglesey. We visited Newbrough beach which was stunning and we ate at Dylan's on the Menai Strait - the food was delightful. My favourite part was waking up in the morning to the stunning view of Snowdonia and listening to the birdsong :) We have already recommended Kathy's place to our family and friends and we hope to visit again in the near future.

The Chalet can sleep up to six people comfortably, with a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, and pull out double sofa-bed in the large open plan lounge/kitchen/diner area. The patio doors open out onto decking where you can relax in a tranquil setting.
This listing is convenient to travel to anywhere on Anglesey but is situated in a beautiful and private location Guests will have access to the whole of the Chalet, plus the use of an acre field for games, dogs, sunbathing etc. We will interact as much or as little as you choose. Some of our guests have come into our house for dinner and some choose to keep themselves to themselves, we're here to help you if you require. Ashleigh House is a 5 minute walk from the local bus route, and is sandwiched between the A5 and A55 so transport around the island from here is so simple.
The village hosts 2 convenience stores selling food, newspapers, off-licence. There is a post office in one. 2 cash points in the village, a petrol station, hairdresser, fish and chip shop, children's play park Chinese take-away. The Gaerwen Arms, a local pub/restaurant in the village serves excellent food and is well worth a visit. We would suggest booking, there are other pubs serving food and a garden centre selling gifts, cards etc as well as their own excellent cafe with meals, refreshments and delicious cakes! You need not run short of anything, as all these are within walking distance if you need, yet the house and grounds are secluded.

Shepherds Hut with wood fired hot tub. A romantic getaway for couples on The Isle of Anglesey. Our Bespoke Shepherds Hut is situated within easy walking distance from two beautiful beaches and the Anglesey coastal path. Views from the hut are across countryside to the sea.
Bea's Hut is perfect for a romantic getaway for couples wishing to enjoy peace and quiet away from all the stresses of life. The Hut is built on an age old design with a small log burner for cosy nights in during colder periods. It also features all comforts of modern life. Bea's Hut includes: A large fold down double bed with linen, towels and bathrobe Ensuite facilities with a shower, flushing toilet Fully equipped kitchen with gas hob and oven, a small fridge including essentials; milk, eggs, bread and cereals and preserves High speed Wifi, smart TV, USB charging point Outside you will find a log fired hot tub which you can use for an additional charge of £40 per stay payable on arrival or through Airbnb. Great for star gazing, relaxing aching limbs, and enhancing a good night's sleep. There are no chemicals/chlorine used in the water, the tub is cleaned and fresh new water for every changeover. Just a warning to avoid disappointment, If there are gale force winds forecast it may not be possible to use the hot tub. There is a BBQ and patio area with a table and chairs to enjoy a glass or two of your favourite tipple, and soak up the peaceful atmosphere. Bea's Hut offers everything you need for a perfect short break away. Bea's Hut is set on our 15 acre small holding, within easy walking distance of two beautiful beaches and Anglesey's coastal path. There are quite often sheep in the field in front of the hut as well as our horse Flamingo. We also have a small friendly dog and a cat. They may want to come and say hello to you. We run a small shellfish business on the farm. The access to Bea's Hut is down a single track country lane with some passing places. There are two other small holiday cottages at the same address. However Bea's Hut is set furthest away and has plenty of privacy. We aim to give all our guests a peaceful relaxing experience.
Anglesey is surrounded by water and therefore also some beautiful beaches. Bea's hut is only a few minutes walk from Sandy Beach. A fabulous beach to walk, sunbathe or swim from. Over a mile long with a caravan site at the far end which has a small shop and a bar. That end usually gets quite busy but this end is normally quiet. Trefadog Beach is a small cove and doesn't get busy and is great for rock pooling and finding interesting creatures.
  • Gorgeous quiet spot close to coastal path. Although close to farm house it feels totally private and secluded at the hut area. We would definitely visit again when able.

  • Was a great stay, the beach is beautiful and Bea was helpful and polite

    Charlotte2020-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely time staying at the beach hut. The place was spotless and the prosecco/milk/eggs etc were a really nice touch. Bea was just a text away if we needed anything and the hot tub was amazing even in rainy/windy weather. The location is a little bit far from other towns but it doesn’t matter as they’re all driving distance, and you get to make the most of the lovely hut in the evening.

    Caitlin2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • You need to go here! Amazing! One of the best stays away we have had. Perfect. Cute. Well thought about and just gorgeous!

    Joshua2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had a really nice stay at Bea's, feeling right at home we were provided with everything we needed. The weather was a bit wild but that added to the amazing hot tub experience. The shepherd's hut was cosy and we spent two lovely nights warmed by the fire.

  • Amazing place definitely recommend it to everyone and will definitely be returning

    Kelly2020-03-04T00:00:00Z

Aberffraw - Welcome to the true capital of Wales! On the surface Aberffraw is a small, quiet village on the west coast of Anglesey at the mouth of the gently flowing River Ffraw renowned for its spectacular sand dunes and immense stretch of sandy beach. The village of today, however, sits on the site of a medieval ‘llys’ or princely court, born out of the Royal House of Aberffraw from which Llywelyn Fawr or Llywelyn the Great, descended. Llywelyn was the de facto ruler of all Wales, dominating Wales for 40 years. There is no denying the historical importance of the House of Aberffraw with many local places and names still bearing reference to this. Today Aberffraw is a peaceful and immensely scenic get-away-from-it-all village. Set right on the Coastal path, it is a walkers paradise with plenty of options for all abilities. Follow the path down the estuary and you will see birdlife of all kinds. Where the river meets the sea, you will enjoy endless views of the sea, mountains, Bardsey island and the Llyn Penninsula beyond. A walk in the other direction and you may see cattle grazing gently in the heathland, as you head over the impressive sand dune range to ‘Traeth Mawr’, literally ‘big’ or ‘great’ beach with its endless sands, this has been called the Sahara of Wales! The village boasts a fantastic pub ‘Y Goron’ or ‘The Crown’, which serves hearty, home-cooked food. The village shop is on hand for all the essentials and the thriving tea-rooms at Llys Llywelyn will make sure you will need to get walking, after you sample their home-cooked food and endless cakes! The Church in the Sea, or St Cwfan’s church is another must-see hidden gem. Built in the 7th century, the church now stands on the islet of Cribinau separated from the mainland by years of coastal erosion. Against the odds this beautiful little church stands proud and bravely on a rock, and is quite a sight to behold. Church services are held regularly in the summer months, with occasional weddings and Christenings, all of course romantically dictated by the tides! The cove in which the church sits, is a gentle walk of about a mile from Aberffraw village. If the village doesn’t offer you enough history, the nearby Neolithic burial chamber of Barclodiad y Gawres is a must see, not just for the history and heritage but the location, surrounding walks and views are stunning. Walkable along the coastal path, it lies about 4 miles from Aberffraw, or a short drive of 2 miles will bring you to a parking spot from where it is a 5-10 minute, fairly level walk by narrow path. Further afield the larger village of Rhosneigr is about 4 miles away by road, 7 miles if you take on the coast path – trust us, you won’t be disappointed. There is also a daily, regular bus service for those who don’t want to walk back! Whatever your plans for your Anglesey holiday, you will not fail to be charmed by the historic, proud and immensely scenic little Welsh gem that is Aberffraw.
  • An amazing spot. A 2 minute walk to the local beach (which is beautiful) and very easy to access the coastal path for great walks. The flat itself is cosy, clean and has everything you need to enjoy a restful weekend. There is even a shared BBQ area in the garden! 10/10!

  • We stayed here in between Christmas and over to New Years. The apartment is really lovely. Spacious, clean, warm and quiet. There is everything you could need. It’s a short walk to the estuary and on to the beaches. It is a very quiet village but well placed for getting around the island. There is one pub in the village the Crown. It is very popular for eating so book well in advance.

  • We stayed here on two dark nights in November, either side of a trip to Ireland. It would have been nice to have stayed longer and spent time on Holyhead mountain, but we just stayed here so we could get to the ferry early in the morning, and back late at night. It's not too far to walk from the port, but there are also taxis. The caravan is really comfy, with hot water bottles and heaters for a cold night.

Set in glorious countryside, this accommodation is perfect for anyone looking for a lovely Welsh hideaway. We have the most amazing sunsets and as the hamlet only has 1 street light we have very little light pollution so star gazing is a must. We have 3 rooms available in total, this twin bedded room, one single room and a studio room, which have their own listing. Please contact us for further information or see the listings (The Secluded Spot (Studio room) & The Secluded Spot (single room)
Our five bedroom detached house is set in 2 acres of land with magnificent views in a very quiet hamlet, the perfect place to relax and recharge your battery. We are happy for our guests to enjoy the outdoor space and we even have a volleyball pitch for anyone feeling energetic. The coastal path is close by making it a great location for anyone wishing to explore Anglesey and the surrounding area. The magnificent Lligwy Beach is a very short drive away and Dulas Estuary is even closer. Benllech, Red Wharf Bay, Cemaes Bay, Parys Mountain, Moelfre and Amlwch Port are all in close proximity. Britannia Bridge and the ferry port of Holyhead are approximately 30 minutes drive. For those of you who want a little bit of adventure Snowdonia, Zipworld and Surf Snowdonia are within reach of this property (roughly an hour away or less depending on the traffic). Scuba diving, cycling, fishing and kayaking are also easily accessible from this property.
The north coast of Anglesey contains some of the finest beaches in North Wales, alongside rocky coves and dramatic cliffs. Porpoises and seals are commonly seen. It is an ideal location for birdwatching and we are proud to still support a red squirrel population. There is a good mixture of pubs and restaurants to suit all but it's the beauty and drama of the island that brings people back again and again. We are a short drive from Snowdon, Bangor, Caernarfon, the ferry port of Holyhead, Zipworld, and SurfSnowdonia.
  • Faultless. Very short notice but immediate responses and couldn't do enough to help me out. On arrival such a friendly warm welcome and a lovely room with tea coffee TV etc all included. Had a fantastic peaceful sleep and can't wait to visit again.

  • A comfortable room in a nice house in the countryside, about 40 minutes' drive from Caernarfon or Holyhead - an ideal place for someone looking to get away from big cities and enjoy the beautiful nature of Anglesey, which also has quite a few historic attractions. The host is very friendly and always ready to help or give some advice about the area, overall, highly recommended for those who want an enjoyable stay away from the crowd. There a TV in the room, and Wi-Fi connection is good, so you can still be in touch with the world when you want it.

    Vadim2019-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent place with the highest standard of cleanliness, the host was wonderful and the little touches of chocolate in the fridge and tea and coffee facilities were excellent. Lovely views from the front and the back of the property. This was our first Airbnb stay and if everyone is as good as this we look forward to more stays. Thank you very much to you.

Double room in comfy Holyhead terraced house. A few minutes walk from station, ferry terminal, the Anglesey Coastal path and town centre shops including supermarkets. You are welcome to use the kitchen and living room and there is a downstairs utility room with walk-in shower, WC, washing machine and tumble dryer - great for storing bikes/washing off muddy boots or diving gear. A short drive to beautiful blue flag beaches and a great base for exploring Anglesey.
I only bought the house this year and it is a project so some areas (like the utility room and bathroom) are brilliant and others are a work in progress. But it is comfortable clean and the kitchen is well-equipped (feel free to use salt/pepper/spices and just replace if they've run out, or let me know). Hopefully you will feel welcome and relaxed. There's a piano if you play, a pile of books to read, local maps to borrow and beach stuff (folding chairs/buckets and spades).
Holyhead is a small port town with a retail park on the outskirts and a high street that has benefited from some regeneration over the last few years and offers shops, pubs, a cinema and a couple of decent restaurants). The harbour has a commercial port but also a sailing club and beach. A short drive or a medium walk (2 miles) away are the blue flag beaches of Treaddur bay (which has several nice places to eat) and Porth Dafarch, South Stack Lighthouse, the Ranges SSSI, Breakwater Country Park, Penrhos Park with it's red squirrels and Holyhead Mountain, Gogarth and North Stack cliffs all of which offer great climbing and bouldering opportunities.
  • Loved the house, loads of space, an excellent downstairs shower room , very cosy and homely. Great shower upstairs too. Modern tv with loads of stuff to watch . The host was lovely on the phone and couldn't help me enough, and I hope to stay there again soon.

  • My one night stay at the Haven was very comfortable. Phil and Sian were very helpful with directions, they were there to check me in and take my breakfast order, and let me keep my bags in the front after I had checked out. They are very friendly people! The guesthouse itself is small but rooms have ensuite, modern and clean bathrooms, TV with a Netflix connection, and a kettle for tea/coffee. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is a choice between the continental, or you can pay to have a heartier meal! The location is within easy walking distance to groceries, restaurants, the harbour, and several parks. I loved walking up to the Breakwater Country Park- very neat. All in all, I would definitely stay here again!

  • The room was very comfortable and had all I wanted. The shower had good pressure and it was great having a private bathroom. There’s a television with Netflix in the single. The breakfast was excellent, with many options. I had the continental for £5. It included cereal, English muffins, tea, and other options. Sweet little dining room. I took a long walk along the sea; it was lovely. The town of Holyhead is a beauty. I had a great lunch at the Beach House next door. Phil was an excellent, congenial host who seemed genuinely interested in making my stay a good one.

Pentre Pella is a traditional Quarryman's cottage situated in Holyhead Mountain Village -a peaceful hamlet in a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Just a stone's throw from the cottage are the well maintained walking paths that wind up to the summit of the mountain, as well as South Stack,North Stack the Breakwater Park and beyond via the Anglesey Coastal Path. A perfect base all year round for peaceful walking holidays, climbing trips or mountain biking in breathtaking scenery.
The cottage has a comfy living room with a log burner, a pleasant county kitchen with all mod cons -and a conservatory/ dining room overlooking a good sized garden. There is room for a small to medium sized car outside the property- and communal parking just around the corner. Well behaved dogs are more than welcome!
The mountain village is beautiful and quiet, but not too far from Holyhead's supermarkets, cinema and cafes. For foodies there are several great restaurants within 15 minutes drive of the cottage. Our favorites are Catch 22 in Valley, The White Eagle in Rhoscolyn and The Harbourfront Bistro on Newry Beach.
  • A great break, Walks from the doorstep and comfortable evening's in by the log fire, Everything you want or need is here.

  • Superb host and lovely, homely cottage. We had a great weekend and will certainly come back to enjoy some more of the mountain walks from the front door. Close enough to Holyhead to have the convenience of shops but felt remote and with a great view only a short walk up the lane. Lovely wood burner and lounge - great for a cosy afternoon in - and the rooms were really well furnished and decorated. Highly recommend.

  • Lovely cottage on Mountain - providing amazing walks just out of the door! A 15 minute drive to anywhere on Holy Island, making our stay thoroughly enjoyable as we explored everywhere we'd planned to during our stay. Electric heaters in the bedrooms and the fire in the living room kept us cosy in the cold weather. This place really had everything we could have needed for our short stay! Beautiful paintings of the local area all for sale in the hallway - we couldn't resist. Would definitely recommend for a weekend away!

Set in a lovely location with stunning views but still close enough to shops etc Stone throw away from heaps of different walking trails including up the Holyhead mountain and to south stack. The cottage had everything you needed including high chair and cot for the baby. It was very clean and well looked after. We will definitely be back!

  • Tristan and Debi were fantastic hosts and I couldn't have wished for a better place to stay in Holyhead. It's about a ten minute walk to the ferry port and the train station, so it was a perfect location for me, as I was travelling without car. I would book here again anytime!

  • We booked a night at Tristan's place because we just needed a place to crash before renting a car the following day. We were pleasantly surprised with incredible hospitality in a beautiful home, to the point where we almost regretted staying for just one night. The family was super friendly but also gave us plenty of privacy. A great spot!

  • I only stayed one night at Tristan and Debi's place (I was doing the Anglesey 10k trail race so came up the night before the race) but that was sufficient to learn that they are amazing hosts! The room was gorgeous, super comfy bed, LOTS of snacks, breakfast, huge selection of teas, etc. Super friendly hosts, very flexible with checking in / out times. They even suggested I come back after I checked out / finished my race to have a hot bath, which was very much appreciated and needed. I couldn't recommend them more. I'll definitely come back again! Thank you Tristan and Debi ❤️

Set in glorious countryside, this accommodation is perfect for anyone looking for a lovely Welsh hideaway. We have the most amazing sunsets and as the hamlet only has one street light we have very little light pollution so star gazing is a must. We have three rooms available in total, one single, one twin bedded room and a studio room which have there own listings. Please contact us for further information or see our separate listings.

  • Excellent accommodation, great value for money. Rooms are homely and have everything you need for a short stay. Google maps took me straight there on a dark stormy night, though I would use the main A road as per instructions if arriving at night.

  • A lovely home in a beautiful area. The price is more than reasonable, and the hosting is top notch. The WiFi was strong even when fully booked, and was stable throughout the month I stayed. I was comfortable when staying in, and it proved a good base for exploration. I was sad to leave, I expect you might be too.

‘Rhiannon’s house’ sits in the grounds of the court of Prince Llywelyn, ruler of Wales in the 13th century. Named after his beloved daughter this newly and beautifully refurbished airy and beautifully-appointed one-bedroom property is indeed fit for a princess! With ample parking adjacent to the property your front door is accessed up a flight of steps leading you into a charming open plan living space. The plentiful windows allow for oodles of light throughout the relaxed seating area and fully equipped kitchen. The airy bedroom, with double bed, is cleverly arranged and tastefully decorated with multiple windows offering views of the surrounding countryside and the impressive Snowdonia mountain range beyond. As the nights draw in the many windows in the sloping ceilings throughout this property allow for plentiful glimpses of Anglesey’s renowned Dark Skies. Please note that once a booking has been accepted we will reach out and ask for your personal email address. Airbnb creates an unique email address for all correspondence, however it blocks any emails with attachments therefore we have been unable to send access and directions to allow customers to find and enter the property. We seek your personal email address to avoid this and to ensure smooth communications and a stress-free break with us on Anglesey.
Set within the small Llys Llewelyn heritage and accommodation complex there is ample parking, Heritage Hair & Beauty to pamper and beautify you and a thriving café and tea room, offering home-cooked food throughout the day– with a too-good-to-miss selection of home-baked cakes and scones on offer! Ty Rhiannon is an ideal retreat for two, offering the perfect base within the village, for investigating historical Aberffraw, heading to the beach or exploring the wider sights of Anglesey.
  • This apartment is a perfect base for exploring Anglesey. Lovely and peaceful, good for relaxing after a busy day of walking- out the cottage and you can be straight onto the coastal path. We will hopefully be back!

    Louisa2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely apartment - perfect for 2 with everything you need for a few days away, within easy reach of a great beach at Aberffraw on foot (10 to 15 min walk) and Rhosneigr beaches a short drive away. Apartment very clean and comfortable. Excellent communication with rental company and easy access to property with keysafe. Ample off road parking space. Perfect for us. Would highly recommend.

The place is close to so many great worth viewing spots. And the local beach is just short distance from flat. We had great long weekend and cannot fault the place or Wales in little bit. 🥰

  • Ty Rhiannon is a smashing place to stay. Not only was it good value for money, but the upkeep of the property was outstanding. I'm a bit of a clean freak when it comes to Airbnb's and even running my finger along the skirting boards and on top of the kitchen cupboards revealed no dust or dirt whatsoever. Really nice touches and modern bathroom along with a generous amount of kitchen space. They also leave information about things to do and local place to visit and eat. A must visit if you're planning a trip to Anglesey!

In central Anglesey, the quiet village of Llangristiolus is ideally located for visiting the beautiful island as well as being close to Snowdonia and other North Wales areas. Rhos y Ffordd is a 200 year old cottage extended over the years, and the space is a large ensuite bedroom with attached sitting room accessed through a shared front door. The bedroom overlooks the garden which guests are welcome to use for relaxing and barbeque in fine weather.
You will have a private bedroom and separate sitting area; the sitting room is equipped with kettle, toaster and fridge. We provide some food items (bread, cereal, milk etc) as well as crockery and cutlery, tea and coffee, so you can prepare a breakfast, but there are no facilities for cooking in the space.
Llangristiolus is a quiet rural area , there is a pub serving food within 10 minutes walk, and plenty of other resturants and bars a short drive away in many of the nearby villages and towns.
  • My girlfriend and I needed a place to stay for the Race of Remembrance at Trac Môn, and stumbled across this place after a bit of searching. It was 15 minutes away from the track along some twisty Welsh B-roads, and not too far from the main road, perfect for us. However, when we got there we almost didn't want to leave. The two cosy rooms were so homely and welcoming, decorated with little touches to make the area seem like a little slice of home. Everything was spotless and well kept, well lit and comfortable, with a mattress so soft and warm it was hard to leave. The bathroom was immaculate, sparkling and gleaming, with little craft soaps and well thought-out storage areas, it was obvious a lot of thought was put into everything and even more pride was taken to make sure everything was just so. The amenities were excellent with a well-stocked mini fridge and continental breakfast, perfect to get up and out into the cold, and a TV with Sky gave us something to relax after a day of hard graft. Nothing was too much trouble for Sioned and Gareth: All we had to do was ask. They were always interested and keen to hear about the goings-on of our day, even offering painkillers after a particularly strenuous night at the circuit. All in all, we had a wonderful time and wanted for nothing, we are even discussing going back during the summer for a long weekend away, just to explore more of Anglesey, see the hosts again, and stay in that sumptuous bed of course.

    Doug2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • We have been very pleased with the comfort and cleanliness of the room. The bed is just incredible, it was even hard to wake up :) They also offer free breakfast in a small private living room that was very much appreciated. There is everything we needed to spend a great weekend. Thanks again

    Quentin2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • A great place to stay and excellent value. Well stocked fridge, Sky TV in your own private sitting room - great hosts, ideal central location for touring Anglesey.

    Ian2019-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely new bedroom and shower room(high quality towels and toiletries provided) with nice little TV sitting/eating area with the added bonus of having the full Sky package. Plenty of food and drink provided for breakfast, only downside was the fridge being a bit on the small side making it difficult to chill the wine and beers without taking other stuff out. Kettle and toaster provided and tray left to leave the dirty plates and cutlery which was taken away each day and washed ready for next day - nice touch.Plenty of room for off road parking and nice patio/barbecue area outside to enjoy if the weather is nice. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great during our stay but they put the central heating on as soon as it was requested, they also provided us with an additional fan heater in case they were out making us self sufficient. They gave us good advice on eating out and were always ready to chat and have a bit of a laugh with us. Won't hesitate to stay there again if we have another Anglesey short break.

    Raymond2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • If you want a home from home this ticks the boxes. I was comfortable and able to relax in this lovely air bnb. Nothing is too much trouble for Sioned and it was great to be able to make breakfast and snacks each day. I hope to be back some day.

  • This is a lovely small apartment within easy reach of Llangefni with places to eat out. Also short drive to the SW Anglesey coast for the beaches and Coast Footpath. Sioned and Gareth have been very thoughtful with all the bits and pieces they leave for your stay, breakfast things as well as toiletries in the bathroom. I will definitely be staying again, Julia

One of two delightful shepherds huts set in a 5 acre working smallholding with fabulous views over open countryside towards Snowdonia. This hut, Cae, which means field in Welsh, has a fold-down kingsize bed. The huts, hand-built to our design, are warm and cosy with electric heating, their own en-suite showers and gas cookers. The huts suit adult couples, looking for a quiet break. Each hut has its own firepit and BBQ, outdoor seating and blankets so you can sit and stargaze on a clear night.
The two huts are situated 50 yards apart, making them private spaces, but they are close enough together for someone looking for a holiday with friends. You can park very close to Cae and there is a gravel path up to its steps!
Llanfaethlu is a small village a mile from the beach, and there is a shop, post office and cafe all in walking distance. The North West coast of Anglesey is an area of outstanding natural beauty with amazing coastal walks and opportunities for birdwatching. It's a short drive to the holiday resorts on the South coast for surfing, shopping and eating.
  • We had a lovely stay in both huts after deciding to stay an extra night. They are both well laid out, are surprisingly roomy and have everything you need. The location is lovely with fantastic views during the day and a chance to star gaze on a clear night. Thank you!

  • This place is perfect spot for a night/long weekend/week away to get away from it all and explore Anglsey and North Wales! We were made to feel very welcome and then able to relax and enjoy! The hut is like a proper little home - it is stylish, clean, cosy and well equipped! There are amazing views, posh towels/bed linen and a nice hot powerful shower! We loved having the home made bread and eggs from the chickens for breakfast! I would definitely return for another getaway! Thank you!

  • What a gorgeous flat! Perfect for what we needed, very close to all the beaches, with shops not too far either. Stunning views... and a lovely park just 2 minutes walk away for my children. Fresh smell as you enter the property and very much home from home! Little touches were very appreciated, piano in the living room.... coffee in the cupboards. I can’t wait to come back!

Full-length patio doors maximise the light into this room and allow you to soak up the rural views. The huge king-size bedroom combines a dressing area and access to the ensuite, newly fitted shower room. Patio doors out onto a small courtyard garden offer the opportunity for outside dining or enjoying a sundowner after a day spent exploring.
Set within the small Llys Llewelyn heritage and accommodation complex there is ample parking and a thriving café and tea room, offering home-cooked food throughout the day, from breakfast, lunches and afternoon tea – with a too-good-to-miss selection of home-baked cakes and scones on offer! There is even a hair and beauty salon offering the very latest in beauty treatments so you can add pampering to your holiday to-do list! Ty Arthur –is an ideal retreat for two, offering the perfect village base for investigating historical Aberffraw, heading to the beach or exploring the wider sights of Anglesey.

  • Jill’s place is absolutely wonderful. A lovely stroll down to the stunning local beach, or if you want to just snuggle up in bed with the yurt door open, you can see the sea and mountains through the door! The yurt has everything you will need and the toilet is very private and spotless! Very friendly family who even gave us a box of guineafowl eggs to take home. Eager to return at some point :-)

  • Fun, different experience. Jill is a great and helpful host (especially for those of us a bit incompetent with keeping fires going). Stove keeps the yurt really warm even in the worst storms. Homemade biscuits delicious too.

  • A brilliant host and a fantastic place to stay. Had everything we could possibly need

  • On the very night that storm Dennis ravaged the area Jills Mongolian yurt stood up to all he gave. And we inside were cozy, warm and loving the extra touches that come with the yurt. I am, a self proclaimed Airbnb snob. I find a place, google it, look at the reviews and then take a while to deliberate whether it’s worth a shot. I wasn’t sure about the yurt but the reviews were excellent and so thought we’d give it a punt. Jill was on point answering messages and was able to quell my fears that the yurt was going to be tested badly by Dennis. In fact when we arrived my hair was perpendicular to my head and everything we ran to the yurt with got a drenching. After settling we weren’t looking forward to the bog-run, however given it was all of 5 strides away and immaculately kept it wasn’t an issue at all. The yurt itself has an aroma that although not unpleasant, does take a second to acclimatise to but the amazing log burning stove puts play to it but filling the room with the heady sent of embers. We didn’t expect much sleep given the storm but a good 10 hours was got due to the comfy bed and linen. We woke to a fridge full of goodies and beverages galore. Don’t hesitate, book the yurt, expect a view to die for, an epic sleep and hospitality beyond.

  • What a amazing time me and my friend had in Jill’s yurt. We got a little lost getting to Jill , so she came out and got us. From the moment with arrived jill made us feel at home. The yurt is so lovely inside and out with everything you need. Because the weather was really bad the electricity sometimes went out but Jill made sure we had candles but to be honest we loved it and it made our stay more fun. We were able to cook a Thai curry with all the cooking equipment available and with all the little extras like the wine n chocolates n breakfast stuff that was already in the yurt that Jill had waiting for us , we had a more than what we needed . The log fire was amazing n kept us warm all the time we were there oh and the bed is amazingly comfortable I’m actually ordering the mattress off amazon. The storm was bad but being in the yurt you wouldn’t think there was one going on as the yurt is that sturdy but hearing it from inside was very soothing We both had the best time and can’t wait to come again Thanks Jill 😘
