Minutes to Discovery trails, Olympic National Park, Hurricane Rige base, Hiking, mountain biking trails , fishing, mushroom hunting, kayaking spots , surf breaks, winery's and many more fun activities close by!

The Carriage House

Our vacation rental is located on ten secluded and wooded acres on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula, surrounded by lakes, hiking trails,and gorgeous sunsets on the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Our guesthouse is named The Carriage House as it sits above a three-car garage. The rental has a full kitchen and bath, with a wood burning stove in the living area. It is a quiet, peaceful and great place to relax. Enjoy our quiet yet close location, listening to the wind in the trees, not traffic going by.

This home is a short 5-minute drive from a popular surf spot (Crescent Beach), miles of hiking trails (Salt Creek Recreation Area), & epic tide-pooling. Yet, it is just 20 minutes west of downtown Port Angeles - far enough to feel “away from it all,” but close enough to enjoy the town’s amenities.

(Walking access is only 2 mi away). We are nestled in the middle of the gateway to Olympic National Park, and everything this area has to offer. We are only 10 miles from Port Angeles. This cabin has a queen size bed and a small pull out futon more suitable for a child or someone small. Enjoy sitting outside around the campfire or cozy up on the couch & watch a movie. Mountain View Shire Getaway

Relax and enjoy the amazing view from the deck of this unique glamping site. This hillside getaway was created from a culvert and planted into the side of a hill, nestled among trees and forest flora. Low voltage lighting, propane on demand hot water, cook top and heater. The view overlooks a pond, the valley below with Mt. Baldy in the background. An outdoor shower also has an awesome view! This countryside glamping site is near the ONP, Discovery trail, and Port Angeles.

Guests say our space is “beautiful, peaceful and clean.” You may hear some light noise transfer or see others guests (or our family) on the property. Be aware that the Roost is located on the top floor (up 2 flights of stairs). Our favorite restaurants, hiking, biking, kayaking and beach access spots are all within a 30 minute drive. Located 20 minutes west of Port Angeles our cozy private cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway or just a spot to call home while you adventure around the Olympic Peninsula! There is a queen bed in the loft accessible by stairs. Shower and composting toilet. Check-in is anytime after 3pm and check out is at 10am. Smoking outside only.
