Really get an adventure to this place and stay there. It is absolutely alone and if you are lucky, you will experience the reindeer up close and even see northern lights over the lake. One would do well to have good equipment there, you're going to need, especially rubber boots !! A very good place for people who are looking for seclusion and the kick.

We stayed at Petteri's for 7 days! It was already a adventuere to get there. As soon as you arrive you finally listen to the silence, you throw yourself into the lake to cool off after a sauna. We stayed there at the beginning of NOV so we had to cut a lot of wood to keep the cottage warm. Petteri helped us with every struggle we got in (good bloke he is Yoda would say!!!) Thank you Petteri for this unique experience!!! We'll be back

We had an awesome stay at Petteri's cottage! Even though the first night was pretty tough as we had -10°C inside the cottage we managed to warm up the place to quite comfortable temperatures (+20°C). It's a cosy place with a beautiful surrounding and perfect to experience lots of snow, million stars and absolute silence. We highly recommend this place for an adventurous stay in finnish winter season!

The Petteri "mökki" allows you to make a real Finnish life experience, immersed in nature. The lack of running water and other comforts are not a defect, but the possibility of having a genuine experience. The mökki is taken care of every aspect and looks neat and welcoming. The wood-fired sauna on the lake shore is a fantastic experience. In mökki Petteri we also left a small piece of heart. If we go back to Finland we will be back for sure! Petteri was always very fast in answering and giving us support for any questions or information.

I stayed at Petter's cabin for 3 nights alone. It was quite an adventure but I don't regret anything, it was an incredible experience. I was driven there by locals but then was left behind for my 3 days in the Finnish wilderness, where I didn't speak to anyone and took the silence of the forest in and relaxed like never before. The cabin was well-equipped with the basic-stuff you need. For me it was pretty easy to keep the cabin warm. Petteri took great care of me by answering every question quickly. The instruction of how to get there and how to use the different facilities in the cabin were also very comprehensible. Thank you Petteri for sharing this cabin with the world.

We chose this accommodation looking for an authentic place completely surrounded by nature to feel pure natural environment of Finland. It far exceeded our expectations, as the lonely cottage is located in a prime location in one of the most beautiful areas. The day to day living in the cabin makes you feel fully integrated in nature, feeling the full truth, makes the room into an exciting wild adventure, a throwback to the origins. The cottage, a cozy space with everything necessary for life in the forest. The sauna, a luxury for the well being of body and mind, overlooking the lake, in the woods. The boat, available for both lakes go to easy access to where the cabin is located. Bicycles to explore the area through the forest tracks. Firewood available in abundance to keep warm cabin and sauna to prepare restorative after days in nature, which is indispensable in autumn. In short, we have experienced an excellent experience in every way, highly recommended for lovers of nature in its pure state, or for stays of rest and tranquility.

Reijo is a very kind host. The cabin was well prepared (firewood, warm, a lot of dishes) and clean. It was warm, cosy and very quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Ana met us when we arrived, she pulled up on a sledge being pulled by her dogs! The area is quiet and off the road, we only saw two other houses. Behind the property is a beautiful walk right down and across a frozen lake, it is where the Nazis tried to enter Russia from, the area is seeped in history. A beautiful property, in a beautiful area.

The house of Reijo and Anna is a true paradise! Everything is absolutely perfect: the welcome, the house itself that really very charming, maximum comfort (kitchen, bathroom, shower and sauna nearby, wifi), you really feel at home. The house is very well heated (wood stove very effective, and that adds to the cozy aspect of the interior), a real treat when it's cold outside. The sauna is also very valuable, with its private access! Reijo and Anna are of unparalleled kindness, full of good advice for walks and activities, and there are many things to do! The surroundings are beautiful, and the house is a cozy nest where it was fun to go. It is also very well located: starting point for beautiful walks on foot or snowshoes, and 45 minutes from Lake Inari barely (road quite passable in winter). Central Ivalo and supermarkets are 2 minutes, which is very convenient. We will come back !

Reijo and Anna are very nice, enough for the stay as pleasant as possible. The house is like the pictures, everything is clean when you arrive. If you have any questions to ask them for walks, skiing, dog sledding ... they will give you useful information and good addresses! The bathroom and sauna are located outside the small wooden studio. One quickly gets used, it is not far at all. The small studio is located near the forest, a pretty lake and not far from a mall for shopping. Convenient ! The stove works beautifully! Bed linen and towels are included. We spent a great week to two.

This cottage was the perfect getaway for a few days I have no complaints whatsoever. It was just as described on the website. This lovely couple was helpful and very welcoming. I will definitely be making another trip back to this cottage. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Reijo and Anna are two wonderful people who invited us for a chat and coffee to get to know each other. They where super helpful by making sure we had enough firewood, arranging a taxi to bring us to the airport, tips where to go in Ivalo and what to see. We could ask them anything if needed. The timberhouse itself is absolutely amazing, with a wood burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely living room. Definitely a place which I want to visit again without a doubt!

Our stay with Anna and Reijo was great. Our questions before and during the stay were always answered quickly. We felt very comfortable, and the two are great hosts. The small cabin is very cozy and from there you can directly start your outdoor pursuits. For example, we once borrowed snowshoes from Anna and Reijo. On foot you can also reach the center of Ivalo. If you plan trips with a further distance, a car is recommended. To relax we have often used the sauna, which is located along with the shower in the main house. Especially great was that Anna has given us about it, as it has started one evening with the northern lights. We can really recommend a stay at Anna and Reijo very.

The cottage is in conformity with the description and tidy. Set in a quiet location, a short car ride from the center of Levi. We spent a very relaxing long weekend at the cottage Minna. Levi's South Point is the nearest lift station which leaves the most convenient Levin chairlift. I would highly recommend the cottages to all our 6-person family recreation there really nicely.

I could not have been happier with my stay in Minna's cottage. It is a beautiful home, well equipped with anything you might need (cooking gear, snowshoes, plenty of firewood, etc.) and is in a stunning location that is quiet and removed at the end of the street, but very convenient with good access to Levi city center and the ski resort. Only 5 minutes drive from the Southern slope access point. We had some issues with our refrigerator breaking and Minna was a superstar, having a new one sent to the house the very next day. There is access to a nice walking/cross-country path just behind the house, with a nice walk to the local reindeer farm by the river only 10 minutes away by foot. Highly recommended for any size group, whether you're a couple for a getaway or a group of students looking to chase the Northern Lights. Oh, and the sauna is great ;)

Lovely cottage, it has everything needed (we had our bed sheets). The sorroundings are great to pick up berries. A car is needed to get around. Activities in august are pretty much closed, but we had nice hikes at the national park.

The cottage is warm, cosy, quiet and perfect for a relaxing get away, it's well equipped and spacious and we were able to see the northern lights from the cottage. The cottage is far enough away so you feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle but close enough so if you want to pop to the supermarket or town for dinner along with Santa Claus village you can. Being the first in the house made us a bit jiterry but Anneli and her husband were great hosts! They are flexible and very helpful! Now on to the house. The house looks exactly like the picture, amazing and warm. It is not as far as we thought it is. From Riovaniemi airport, it is about 100km which takes about an hour. It is just one straight road down so its a very easy drive. The shops is about 10 mins away so that is good too. Also, the house is easy to find while having all the privacy you need. It is a great place for kids to stay in and we loved the stay! Thanks Anneli!

"Wooow!" That was my first thought when we arrived :) It's really fantastically beautiful here. The house is very cozy and the surrounding area is the ideal setting to do so. We felt very comfortable in super from the beginning. The river was still largely frozen in March and we were able to walk with snowshoes over it. Just breathtakingly beautiful, especially since we had the whole time sunshine. We tried the outdoor sauna and heated pool. A unique experience, because you no one can see except a few squirrels and owls :) Who is not accustomed to it might find scary at the beginning maybe a little ;-) One evening we could even see the northern lights :) The man from Anna-Stiina, Samuli, has the same written us a message, so that we do not miss the spectacle! Super nice! He has also taken the day we arrived a lot of time to explain everything to us. Unfortunately, we were only 4 days there, we could have stayed longer.

What you see in photos is what you get! very accurate! The location is very good. It is very walkable to town and to the railway station. We walked to town every day to see the peaceful sights and as well to the railway station when we needed to take the bus to the Santa Claus Village. Communication is clear and Lukas is very prompt in replying. Tips given on the main page helps a lot when I was planning for the trip. I went to most of Lukas's recommendations, they are good. Strongly recommend going! However, I didn't go to the stadium for the Northern Lights viewing. Instruction on where to get the key is very clear in a PDF format which was privately sent to me. :) We had no problem in putting the clean sheets ourselves just like what we did back home in Singapore. We love the clean sheets smell :). It was as if living in Singapore, everything by ourselves which makes us feel very cosy. The Northern Lights viewing with Lukas was fun. It was very nice of him making hot tea and prepare reindeer fur for us to keep ourselves warm. He also helped us to take photographs and sent it to us. He is really very considerate and nice. The Secret hideout is truly a place you should go with Lukas; just ask him and if he is available, the trip will be waiting for you. He is really very nice to communicate with. He answered all our questions patiently and we have learnt a lot from him. He was kind enough to assist us to book a taxi to the railway station when we needed to depart on the last day. As he had no guests arriving on the day we were departing, he graciously allowed us to extend our stay for a few hours so that we did not have to wait for the train at the railway station. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND HIS PLACE IF YOU ARE GOING TO ROVANIEMI! :)

Our second sojourn at Lukas' flat in Rovaniemi, at the end of our journey: again, pleasant, comfortable and functional. Everything went very smoothly.

The accommodation is great with good location (not too far away from the city centre especially if you have a bike). Lukas is very helpful and friendly.

Lukas apartment is located in an attractive building complex in which one overlooks the entire city and especially at dusk has a beautiful view. Luke himself was unfortunately out of town during our stay, but we could make ourselves comfortable on your mood. For questions he was always available via email and answered within a few hours.

Very cozy, modern and peaceful house near Rovaniemi and Kemi. Good choice for travelers to meet Santa in Lapland and visit Snowcastle in Kemi etc. Jouni always was in touch, no any problems was.

The house is amazing! We went there a couple of days, with a child 9 years old and it was perfect, just as the photos. The fireplace is just lovely, it was working when we arrived and they leave us lot of wood to keep the fire on! All was very clean and cozy. It was very easy with Jouni, he was responding very quick and kindly all our questions. We went to Lapand to hunt aurora borealis and we moved to Rovaniemi (1h30' from the house by car) to do it. Finally WE GOT THEM!! Really looking foward to come back and stay at this house again.

Tornio is a place filled with a lot of history and culture behind it. Jouni's place is the perfect place for a layover and explore what the town has within. Jouni's place is HUGE... if you have traveling companions and you want some personal space, this couldn't be better. LOL. The rooms are spread across the house with the kitchen, bathroom and toilet located in the middle of it. The place is clean and cozy. I had one of the best time in this place be it dining or watching some local television show. You can't put a finger to why it works, it just works! Jouni was nice to let us settle in and popped by shortly to make sure that we have everything we need. He is an interesting guy! It is a shame that our stay was a short one, it'll be great if we had to opportunity to chill. I recommend this place to people who are looking for a cozy layover and explore the town.

Julia is very clean , kind and lovely woman. Her home-made breakfast was tasty and we could be able to have a Finnish breakfast. Sometimes She give me a glass of wine and we enjoyed chatting and My son also enjoyed playing with her lovely son. Location is actually not close to central but just 15min walk distance to the central. During walking, you can see beautiful nature and lovely Finnish houses. Staying at Julia's house is Highly recommend.

Julia is such an awesome host, friendly, cheerful and helpful. I fell in love with her cat Klementine - sweetest cat ever!! I enjoyed the breakfast too. Julia's dad and her 3-year old son don't speak English but still a pleasure to be with. I feel very welcomed and at home here. It's by far the best B&B experience of mine! The house itself is very beautiful with a front and backyard where I built a snowman. The room and bathroom are clean and neat. Very close to Arktikum and Pilke museums, around 20 min walk to city/ train & bus station (otherwise taxi will cost ~12 euros).

I felt really welcome by julia. She welcomed me and my mother sweetly and gave us all the information we might need. Her house is very warming and the room was very nice, clean, warm amd comfy. We enjoyed our stay at this amazing county. Anna connected us with a local Andey, who created the full activity agenda for us and was a great guide. We didn't have to think about unimportant stuff like transportation and booking of activities. Our guide always took care of that and also gave us some skiing lessons (he is a professional). Also we caught great view of northern lights, Andrey knows the best locations for that. For future travelers i highly recommend to contact him hopefully he will be available.

We booked Anna's flat for four days and enjoyed every single second of it. The apartment is very clean and cozy. You will find everything you need. Anna's sister picked us up at the airport upon arrival and brought us back as well. A supermarket and a busstop is just a little walk away. Very quit neighborhood! Anna & Andrey's top level unit is very homely - a comfortable & warm place when visiting Lapland. Just a ten min drive from Levi Ski Resort, it is an excellent option and has all of the necessities for a great stay. Spacious, clean unit with wifi, computer and PlayStation games available. Anna & Andrey were lovely, and met us late after we changed our plans. We would not hesitate to return here :)

We felt in Anna's accommodation immediately at home. It's a big apartment where you can find everything you need. The price-performance ratio is great! The location is perfect to make trips to Levi or Ylläs but also to go for walks in Kittilä or enjoy cross-country skiing the magnificent nature of Lapland. We would always book Anna's hotel again and can only recommend.

Kari was very prompt in getting us in the penthouse and set up for the night. He was very welcoming and willing to answer all the questions we had, even after he left the penthouse. The place is very very nice - spacious, clean, confortable. Kitchen was also well stocked and ready to go, which was great. All in all would recommend Kari as he is very responsive and wonderful host, and his penthouse is centrally located and wonderful.

Our stay was wonderful! The apartment is beautiful, spacious, and clean with wonderful views of the Rovaniemi streets. Kari's apartment was great. It is well located, right in the center, 5-7 mins walk to everything. As well Kari provided free parking near the house. All the bedding was done for our arrival, and as we arrived pretty late it was very handy. Kitchen has everything necessary to cook. Kari as a host was very responsive and helpful.

I've been to Helvi's house with my sister for seven days and it was all perfect! Helvi was waiting for us outside the house even if it was very cold. She and his housband Tapio were a lovely couple, very welcoming with us and they also left us some food in the fridge. The house is spacious and very clean and it is exactly how it looks in the pictures. It was 50 mts from Lordi square (the main square in Rovaniemi), so the position is very central to shops, restaurants, supermarkets etc. you couldn't be more close to the center of the town. It is also near to the main safari agencies. They left us a list of contact just in case, but really all the stay was very smooth. The apartment is also quiet (never heard any noise). If I'll return to Rovaniemi again (and I think I will because I'm in love with it) I'll certainly ask for their place again! so, I strongly recommend their place. We had a fantastic 3 night stay in Helvi's flat. It is very centrally located, looks exactly like the photos and really appreciated the food which was left for us in both the fridge and the cupboards.

Helvi and her husband was at the apartment to welcome us. She had everything prepared and gave us a very warm orientation. The apartment itself is very spacious and beautifully decorated, something simple and comfortable. Made us feel like we're home. I wish to return soon with my family!

Helvi and her husband were already waiting for us at the door to welcome us we arrived. They are warm and friendly. They showed us the apartment and give us the information on the areas of the city. They had even prepared breakfast for our stay. The apartment is exactly the same as listed. It is very clean and well equipped. Although it is very near the shopping area it is very peaceful and quiet. It was an enjoyable and relaxing stay and will definitely choose this listing if we should visit Rovaniemi again.

Antti and Anu were wonderful hosts. They welcomed me into their home to have dinner with their friends, and set me up in the igloo on their property. The igloo was certainly an experience. It was very neat and stylish inside, complete with warm coffee waiting for me, ice lanterns, and reindeer skin covered furniture. They did a beautiful job. Staying at the Lucky Ranch was a great opportunity to get outside of the more touristy parts of Luosto and see areas typically just enjoyed by the locals. I would highly recommend staying with them to anyone in the area.

Antti was a great host who was very responsive to my queries and offered valuable tips during our stay. As the accommodation is quite secluded, Antti picked us up and dropped us off so we could catch the SkiBus to Rovaniemi easily. Staying in the Snow Igloo was an incredible experience and worth trying at least once in your life! To Antti's surprise, we lasted 4 hours in the igloo and surrendered because we felt too hot from being overprepared with all our layers (ha-ha!). Antti does give good advice about preparing for your stay in the igloo, and I'm sure if you stuck to his recommended 3 layers instead of 6, you'll find it a more comfortable experience. Ask Antti to share with you how the igloo was made, it was really interesting and amazing! It was unfortunate that we couldn't stay longer to enjoy the activities offered by Lucky Ranch. I'll definitely plan for a longer stay the next time I head that way again!

We arrived late, Antti stayed up showed us around the property and made sure we were comfortable. The igloo was well constructed and the sleeping bags were very warm. The bed and chair had animals pelts (I presume reindeer), there were ice candles, coffee/tea and gingerbread cookies. The wash closet was in the barn just a few sprints from the igloo. Antti offered to go indoors if we got too cold in the night as well as using the indoor wash closet. In the morning he provided a light breakfast, he provided some insights to Finland and he showed us around the property before we left to drive further north. We saw the northern lights right above the igloo that night! Any has many contacts if you would like to venture into Lapland such as snowmobiling and western riding. There is a ski resort in Luosto not too far from his property. We travelled from southern to northern Finland and really enjoyed the vast beautiful landscape Lapland had to offer. There are only two places we would return to Finland for and one of them is Lucky Ranch!

The couple are both very nice people and made me feel welcomed during my stay. Am grateful to Antti for providing me smooth transfer from bus stop-accommodation-bus stop. He ensured I am in time for my bus and even waited with me till I board the bus. Antti was also on time to pick me up on the first day. Not forgetting the awesome snowmobile experience he offered me and the husky sledge ride Anu arranged despite my last minute request! :) Place is considered safe for an Asian solo traveller like me. If you want accommodation which allows you to be close to the nature and away from the noisy city, this will be your best bet.

Antti and Anu were such lovely hosts and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable in their home. It was a wonderful experience in the igloo and I'm so glad I stayed with them during my experience in Lapland. I was able to see the Northern lights and I couldn't think of a better place to experience them. I can't recommend staying here enough! I will definitely be back!

Oh what an experience! Antti and Anu are a pleasant couple who are very passionate about what they do. They have a lovely property. Igloo was very well constructed with thoughtful detailing in it. Antti's sleeping bags are very warm and cozy that make up the whole experience worthwhile. Even though it was -15C outside, inside the igloo it was -1C just enough to keep the igloo, an igloo :) He had a lovely fireplace outside the igloo with snacks and authentic lappish soup and glogi. Antti also gave us good tips for activities around the area. All in all a must experience!

Igloo is as epic as it looks. But most of all there was the incredibly nice people who welcomed us and showed up on everything we requested and made sure we had everything we needed, invited to dinner and smiled all the time - which made for a memorable experience.

I love this place a lot. The apartment is beautiful and have everything I need in the kitchen, the bathroom and the bedroom. The apartment is in the city center, 15min walking from the bus station and 5min to take a bus to Santa Claus village. I have a wonderful time with my friends. After back from outside, -20oC, we were happy to back the apartment. Heikki and Kaj (Heikki's father) are very friendly. I will come back if I visit Rovaniemi again, and also suggest to my friends.

Heikki's apartment looked like it was recently renovated. It had a well equipped kitchen and a clean, modern bathroom. The place was spacious and perfect for 5-6 people. It is close to the main square and you can easily walk to all the main sights such as arktikum and the Aalto buildings in Rovaniemi from there. Heikki's dad was very communicative and was waiting for us when we arrived. The car could be parked in the garage of the building. I warmly recommend to stay at Heikki's place.

The accommodation was very clean, the check-in and check-out was very flexible.

Heikki's apartment was beautiful - decent sized rooms, clean, warm & cosy, great wi-fi connection and very centrally located. Supermarket, restaurants, activities, shopping...all right next door ! Bus stop to Santa village is a 5 min walk and 12 mins to Arkitium. We stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. Although we could not meet Heiki, he ensured that we were greeted by his sister. We would stay there again next time we visit Rovaniemi.

This apartment was perfect for our stay in Rovaniemi. We were a group of 5 and found we had more than enough space and everything in which we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped, bathroom large and heated, living space open, spacious and comfortable. It was also very central, right in the centre of town and close to the artic garden - a perfect park beside the lake to see the Northern Lights!! We were lucky enough to see them - and so happy we only had to walk 10 mins from our house to do so! The hosts were very hospitable and friendly and provided us with all the information in which we needed. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to Rovaniemi!

Very comfortable house, good location, near restaurants supermarkets, shopping malls are complete, not far from the train station, 15 minutes' walk away. Facilities in the apartment is also very well equipped, large rooms, bathrooms have toiletries, kitchen spices and have breakfast. The landlord Kari also took us upstairs and give us details.

Kari was very accommodating, as we had a late arrival in Rovaniemi and he was flexible with our check-in. He gave us recommendations and was very hospitable when he showed us around his place. We love that the place was spacious, had two bedrooms and a TV with USB so we could watch our videos to unwind at night! We like that the place was clean and towels were provided. The apartment is also very near to supermarkets where we did grocery shopping. Ravintola Roka, a highly recommended street bistro restaurant was a 5-minute walk away - we had an excellent dinner there before checking into Kari's place, we highly recommend it too to any traveller (The pork and chips, and Taste of North platter were really nice!) Overall, it was a memorable stay at Kari's apartment and we would not hesitate to recommend others to stay there when in Rovaniemi!

Tinja was very friendly and took care of: Choice of arrangements for sharing quickly and accurately. Target responded to the description and it is suitable for individual travelers and for friends or as a couple. Even a small-scale cook a successful inn. All basic functions can be found at an affordable price and the location is a short distance away from all community services.

Cozy Studio apartment in Ylläs was really nice and clean place to stay. There is nice atmosphere around apartments and we were really happy to stay here.

We've been at the apartment for one night, Tinja was a wonderful host, very responssive to messages and very helpful (helped us find the northern lights!) The apartment is big, clean, cozy and well designed. The bed is comfortable, fully equiped kitchen, dryer, heating. In short: Reasonable price, definately fits for a longer stay.

I needed a very late check-in, actually in the middle of the night. Tinja was very helpful, making handwritten instructions and leaving the keys outside. Also, the dialogue before my stay, was swift and precise. I recommend staying at this apartment hotel.

This was a great stay at the hostel ! The room is really nice and very comfortable. Tinja helped us a lot and thank you again for that :) Just be aware that there are not that much public transportation to move if you don't have a car so check everything before moving.

We had amazing time in Pyha. This house is so cool, we enjoyed everything: good beds, excellently equiped kitchen, nice sauna after which you can dive straight into snow :) The house is more beautiful than picture shows)) Marko was very helpful and responded immidiately. Markus place was absolutely perfect for us as a getaway. The view was amazing and the location meant we could go to the ski resort or grocery shopping easily. Perfect for a group of friends getting into the Christmas spirit

Best cabin in Lapland.

Marko was fantastic, great communicator who ensured we were tuned into local events. All the information about the cabin was available on hand. The cabin itself was amazing, the photos don't quite capture the beautiful surroundings and the close proximity to the ski slopes. My fiancé and I are already looking forward to getting back to the cabin. Thank you Marko for making our first trip to Finland memorable.

It was a dream trip for all our family!!! The Cabin was perfect, very clean, cosy, a modern and equipped kitchen, the rooms were very confortable, we really appreciate the village all people there were so friendy and nice with us...the all activities were very close to the cabin so we could walk around 15 minutes wich is so helpfull; The comunication with Ulf was amazing, He was all the conected giving us all the supportes we need it . We haven t met Ulf but he always answered our questions very quickly and cook care of us from a distace ! the CAbin is very nice, very confortable, you will find everything you need and it is well located if you want to try a husky ride or a render ride ! We had a wonderful week in Lapland, and this log cabin has played for much ! Like many, we didn't meet Ulf but he was easily contactable. The cabin was exactly like on the pictures and even better. The only thing which is not noticed, is that each cabin are placed side by side by four but it's really not a problem (walls a well isolated and in our case we were almost alone in the PAN Village) Thanks again for this week !

This was one of our best AirBnB experiences. Not just is Ulf a great host but the place is amazing and Salla is the place to be; if your looking for lots of snow, not many people, nature and ski resort that feels like family. I don't know really where to start. The house is amazing and has everything - and I mean everything - that you would expect or have at your own house. A kitchen better equipped than our own :), two internet connections (one was stable at between 5-10MB, this was crucial for us as we have an online busines), 2 showers, 2 toilets, etc. Around the house there is plenty of opportunities to go for a walk. Within 5 minutes your are at the lifts - side note if you need a Ski Teacher Vladimir is the best. 10 minutes to a huge supermarket for such a small town. Had everything we needed! Overall an amazing stay, wanted to move in and will definitely be back. Thank you Ulf for having us stay.

The cabin was just as described and was the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful arctic scenery away from mass tourism but with outdoor pursuits nearby. Ulf's quick responses to our questions made sure we had no worries about driving to, and finding, the cabin. The cabin was warm and well equipped with the sauna being ideal after exercise or just to relax.The highlight for us was the opportunity to combine snowmobiling with ice fishing setting out from Sallatunturit just 3km away. We could not have made a better choice!

We visited Ulf's cabin the first week of December 2013, and it was truly wonderful! Everything you need is there; a nice and cozy living room, with WIFI, TV, DVD and a fireplace where you can grill some sausages. The kitchen has everything you need (we stayed in and cooked dinner every evening). 3 comfortable bedrooms, a washing machine and dryer, a sauna and the best shower ever In the time we visited Salla, it was sometimes -26 degrees, and everything was covered in snow. Winterwonderland! So beautiful. We even got to see the Northern Light just outside the cabin. The reindeer park is a short walk from the cabin. We went on a Husky safari, which I can recommend! Pure Lapland. About 3 kilometers from the cabin you will find the ski slots, some restaurants and snow scooter hire. About 13 kilometers you will find good supermarkets (and the Alko liqueur store) at Salla. We rented a car, which made traveling around much easier. The communication with Ulf was very good, he replied fast and was very helpful. After a day in the snow it was a warm and comfortable place to come back to. We enjoyed it very much, definitely hoping to come back one day. Thank you Ulf.
