This is a wonderfully designed, modern and thoughtful home from which to explore Apollo Bay and the Ocean Road. The bedroom is very comfortable and restful. We enjoyed it very much.

We’ve stayed here before and love it! The space is so stylish and well appointed and exactly what we need. The location is great too. It’s close to the beach and the beautiful farmland behind Apollo Bay and only a short drive to see the koalas. And nothing beats falling asleep to the sound of the waves! We’ll definitely be back again.

Just “outstanding” We could spend the whole summer here. The Little Beach House is just “outstanding” nice. We have never lived more beautifully in Victoria. A big compliment to Rex (and a little to his architects). Modern living is perfectly implemented here. The house is light, airy, and extremely well thought out. Nothing is missing. The location is just great too. A few steps to the beach and a short walk to all restaurants or the supermarket. The car can stop here. We were also surprised by Apollo Bay and the varied surroundings. There is a lot to experience and discover in the immediate vicinity. Of course, we also tried out all the tips from the host. The restaurants are great, the shopping is great. Fresh fish is available at fair prices in the cooperative. Nothing is missing in the kitchen to prepare it perfectly. There is even a whetstone to sharpen the knives. Thank you for letting us live here. We would love to come back.

Excellent place, more than big enough for 2 people. Close enough to walk to Apollo Bay shops but not so close as to be busy. Great amenities provided.

Rex’s place is AMAZING. It’s quiet but close to the main street (2 min drive, 10 min walk) and right by the beach, so there’s also a great view. The place is fully equipped and very clean. Rex left a lot of tips and information about the area in the apartment, and helped us with everything we needed. We definitely recommend it!

This is a cute little cottage with a private courtyard, Melissa has done a great job of making it very cozy and perfect for a couple! Walking distance to the shops and beaches, everything is as described. The spa was brilliant! We'll definitely be back and would definitely recommend this lovely cottage.

A great place for a couples getaway in Apollo bay! It was extremely tidy, had everything we needed and Melissa left some lovely touches too.

Best location, the main road was only a 10 minute walk away. Everything was spotless when we arrived and the courtyard was super cute and nice for enjoying a meal. Melissa also provided some items for breakfast such as milk, bread and cereal which was very thoughtful!

It was perfect ! Lots of small attentions which have made our stay unique ! The place is exceptionally romantic - the accommodation is so cosy and everything is made to make you feel like in a cocoon ! We had a wonderful time resting in the garden watching the start while listening the waves ! We highly recommande this place

Captain's Quarters is a welcoming and hospitable place to stay. We really enjoyed our escape for the couple of days in beautiful Apollo Bay. Our accommodation apart from being very clean and comfortable, was ideally located to all that central Apollo Bay has to offer within walking distance. We stayed at Cosy Cottage for 5 nights we found Helen to be great host - very helpful, attentive and welcoming. The cottage is cosy has a great outlook over the hills and valleys yet only a 10 minute walk from the Ocean. Our party was two couples and two children - the accommodation was spacious with a well stocked kitchen area. No hesitation in recommending Cosy Cottage😁👍

A nice cottage in the town of Appllo bay. We feel really good during our stay.

The room was large and spacious. The room facilities were the most complete on this trip. The host was very considerate and provided rice, cereal, sauces and so on.

Davids place is quiet and central to this region.We were delighted when the parrots came for breakfast!David has a box of seed to feed them on the terrace!They are gentle & take the food from your hand!This is a great place to stay - quiet, relaxing and comfortable.

Amazing Stay.

Excellent place, clean, very comfy bed, like a whole apartment. Close to the ocean and Otway National Park, a few min (by car) away from "downtown" Apollo Bay. David is a great host and very helpful. Would love to come back again.

David is a friendly perfect host who has thought of everything. The spacious flat was very well furnished and beautifully clean. Although you can't see the waves breaking on the beach you can fall asleep listening to them. Thank you David for making us so welcome.

My wife our 3 older kids and 3 younger kids(18 month old and 3 year old twin girls) and myself stayed at jeffs place and the only word that describes it is AMAZING First up there was ample space for 2 cars and a trailer, then the main bedroom fitted both our travel cots in easy, the upstairs set up for the older kids was perfect with their own tv and games console! The kitchen and lounge area is perfect with an amazing view, i enjoyed cooking most days just to have the view!!! There was also ample cookware, plates, cups bowls cutlery... everything you need! And the kid fence to keep the little kids in the lounge area away from the stairs topped it off!!!! All in all we loved our stay and will definately love to come back again!!!

Spectacular location with breathtaking views! One of the most unique and well-designed houses we have stayed at. We loved walking with the kids downhill and crossing a small bridge which takes us directly onto the beach. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return one day.

We loved our girls weekend here. The house was awesome and the views were fabulous. We really felt we had hit the jackpot compared to other places we have previously stayed. It was clean, modern and the sound system was terrific. The bed linen was dreamy. We loved it and will definitely be back.

Fabulous views and a lovely retreat for us on a winter mini- break. Watching the waves crash on the beach from the cosy warmth of the log fire was a delight. Everything you need and so close to the beach. An easy half for stroll along the beach into Lorne was just perfect for us. Be sure to visit Erskine Falls too. Easy, quick communication made our stay problem free. Suitable and lovely for all ages and beautiful beach for a play, walk/stroll and a swim or surf. Lovely cafes!😁 We'd love to come back!

This space is beyond beautiful. If you think sunrises are pretty, wait until you see the moon rise behind the ocean, and all from the comfort of your own couch. It is honestly breathtaking. The wood fire provided was thoughtful and appreciated. The space is clean and homey. We couldn't have chosen a better place to spend our winter getaway. You won't regret it!

Lisa and Marty’s place is in a great spot near the pier and a short walk down to the beach and shops. They’re great hosts - very quick and helpful responses. The place is spotless and stylish, and there are lots of thoughtful touches - fresh bread, milk, butter, jam, coffee, etc. We’d definitely stay again if we could!

Joanna's place is really tidy and clean. The two-floor loft is comfortable! The only thing I didn't pay attention to was that there was no wifi.

Great location, and a surprisingly spacious interior for a single or a couple. There's not much of a view, but the convenience of being right in the centre of Lorne more than makes up for this.

Great place for a holiday

The location of the beach boxes cannot be beaten, and number 15 has the prime position of them all. Close enough to the action on Mountjoy Parade for ultimate convenience, yet far enough away from the crowds to avoid noise and disruption.

An absolute treat if you are looking for somewhere to stay outside the main area of Lorne, but still close enough to everything you need! Loved the coziness of The Shack, it was so relaxing to be surrounded by nature and wildlife. Bed was comfy, there were fun board games and books to read and even some local tips if needed! Definitely recommend The Shack to anyone wanting to get away for a few nights.

Great idyllic location in amongst the Wildlife! If lucky can spot kangaroos, koalas & parrots. Highly recommend the Shack and would go again.

Alexis’ little shack getaway is the perfect place to escape and unwind. Amazing location, just a couple of minutes drive into the Main Street yet you feel like you’re miles away from anything. Alexis is a fantastic host. Quick to help out with any question or concern. The shack is super clean and comfortable. Perfect for reading a good book by the fire and getting close to nature. Could not recommend it more.

I miss it already. The Shack is a home away from home, offering a sacred simplicity hard to come by in most places. Alexis provided everything we needed, gave us a friendly welcome tour, and made herself available to us should we need anything else. We spent the rainy days indoors with the fire quietly burning. Without all the usual distraction, we were left to witness nature, and after an exhausting few weeks leading up to our stay, came home finally rested.

Definitely one of AirBnB experiences ever! Beautiful location surrounded by nature and town close by - a wonderful way to experience all of the Great Ocean Road. The place is very tastefully designed in retro modern decor - with everything you could need. What a treasure!

This was our second stay at Caroline's place. We were as happy as we were the first time. Great for tourists - we could see kangaroos from our balcony. Everything was clean, owner easy to communicate with, handy things like olive oil were in the cupboard. We will stay again when we are in Lorne.

This place is a superb place to chill and unwind in a fantastic bush setting yet within a two minute drive from Lorne center.

We enjoyed our stay at Caroline's place which is a funky retro style space. The house was lovely and clean and had all the amenities we required. We enjoyed the quite and beautiful bush setting where we saw a fox and wallaby's and plenty of bird life. The house is also within walking distance of some local bush walks. The only downside (but not a big deal) was that the location required us to drive into the town of Lorne and to the beach as it is located just over the top of a very steep hill. However the positive side of this was we didn't have to carry all our beach gear. I would definitely stay again.

Great location, good coffee near by, and lots of happy hour options. Bed is nice and comfortable, nice little retreat. The beach box stayed nice and cool on a very hot day. Overall great stay for a few days.

Beach box 20 was absolutely perfect me and my pooch Humphrey who had a blast at the beach everyday Right in the center of town walking distance to all the local shops and restaurants And best of all straight across from the beach

Kero cottage was the best place to stay for a little getaway from the city! It’s a little secluded which was lovely, but also close enough to everything that we were able to make the most out of what Lorne has to offer. The profile photos do not do it justice...The cottage is adorable and it’s surroundings are beautiful. Would recommend for a short stay for a couple or small group/family who are keen to enjoy some peace and quiet :)

Switch off the phone and relax, this is a beautiful space to unwind. Couldn’t recommend it more, we had a lovely weekend hiking, watching tv by the fire and ducking in to Lorne when need be.

This house is a real paradise. We had an amazing weekend in the middle of nature. Kangooroo, Koalas, birds, small barbecue, drink by the fire. Unbelievable. Beautiful house and really well decorated.

We absolute loved our stay at Kero Cabin, it was really cozy and peaceful with the river running out the front and being surrounded by trees and greenery. The cabin itself was super clean and comfortable. It felt like we were deep inthe forest despite only being a 5 minute drive from the town. Lastly Charles was super helpful giving us local tips on some great walking tracks.

Rachel’s place is absolutely gorgeous - exactly what is in the photos. The view of the ocean and mountain is incredible. Quickly gave us an alternative internet and password to use when it stopped working. Would definitely stay here again.

Love...Love...Loved this property! Very accommodating with everything you could possibly need during your stay. Located in a quiet neighborhood and just a short walk along the river to town! Great shopping and places to eat! Beds are extremely comfortable and linens are provided. This is a multi level home with stairs and a steep driveway. So be aware if you have any physical issues. Highly recommend!

This house is in a beautiful sport. Whether you are staying in winter and using the beautiful fireplace or during summer and heading to the beach. Great location a 10 minute walk to the Main Street. The home had everything we needed to enjoy our honeymoon.

Fantastic! We had such a great stay at Adam and Melissa's place. It was clean, the beds were very comfortable, location was good, communication was quick, balcony was lovely, overall a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend. There was an unforeseen power outage in all of Lorne, and both Adam and Melissa were quick with information and to respond.

Stayed here for a weekend with family and loved it! The pictures are great but it is somehow still better in person, amazing view and a very spacious and comfortable house. Perfect place to base yourself for local adventuring. Although Lorne can be really busy, this place is tranquil and quiet and makes the hustle and bustle of the main drag feel a million miles away (although it is only a few minutes drive). The short walk from the house to Teddy’s lookout is absolutely worth doing and the property is host to amazing birds, kangaroos and other wildlife. The space itself is beautiful - perfectly ‘retro’ with all the creature comforts you could want. There’s a full size fridge, all the kitchen equipment you need, the smeg oven a delight - there’s even a new washing and dryer to clean your dusty clothes after bushwalking to all the beautiful waterfalls and sites that are within a short drive from the house. This place would be perfect for two couples and up to three kids. It is also cosy enough for a solo traveller such as myself. I really loved this property and will definitely be back. Thanks Caroline for the extra touches such as the beautiful floral arrangement and you and Wayne should be congratulated for creating a really delightful space.

Caroline is a super host & the home is lovely & comfortable–super close to central Lorne, yet we felt peace & quiet that you won't easily find anywhere else.

Caroline’s house is in a beautiful location and allows for easy living. She is very responsive, welcoming and helpful.

Spacious, well appointed two-bedroom apartment with an amazing view. Adjacent to the pier and two good restaurants, a short walk along the path into the main beach and strip. Wonderfully accommodating hosts. We had begun a four-night stay in another place (Lorne Beach Accom Apt 2) that cost about the same, but was terrible in comparison. Called the Lorne Holiday Stay hosts and moved the next morning. Don't make the same mistake we did!

Very good weekend of July spent in this quiet apartment with beautiful sea views. The indications to find and settle in the apartment are very clear. 1 reserved parking space and visitor parking possible (surely full in summer) The city center is not very close but do not miss the teddy's lookout 4mn above the apartment where you may be able to cross kangaroos on the way.

A really cute little beachbox and the location is great. Has it’s own car park but you won’t need to take your car out if you’re going to the beach or going out to eat because it’s right on the main strip. My friend and I really enjoyed our stay

This was perfectly located in Lorne. The Beach Box was really wonderful to stay in- clean and equipped with everything. The parking was handy too. And Joanna was very helpful even though we made a very last minute booking. Would recommend.

It Is in a fantastic position for walking to everything in Lorne, very important as parking can be a nightmare in Lorne over summer. The kitchen was very well equipped if you feel like cooking. Great value place I would highly recommend to anyone.

Had an awesome time staying at the cabin! It's a beautiful space with a beautiful design and a stunning view. Loved hanging around the cabin when the weather was a bit bad, and very close to both the beach and the hinterland to explore when the sun is out. Check-in and check-out were super easy and had everything you need to have a relaxing stay in this beautiful part of the world!

This cabin is a delight and you can tell has been a labour of love in the details. It’s secluded and perfect to spend your evenings there cooking and enjoying the birds and wildlife. It’s a real gem.

Danielle's Love Lane Cabin in Lorne is the perfect place to stay for a couple who appreciates simple comfort. Danielle has set up the cabin thoughtfully so it had everything we needed with no fuss. We especially loved looking through the trees from the day bed. Anne and Tim

This is such a wonderful little place! Hearing the ocean roar at night, or from an evening wine on the deck was the perfect treat. It's a tiny but perfectly formed little house, with everything you need. For those without a car - the location is wonderful, in walking distance to the sea, shops, and national park. Definitely a special trip!

Danielle’s place was amazing to stay at. She was an excellent host and great communicator. The place was wonderful and clean! Will hopefully stay again super soon!!

We went there for the weekend to enjoy great ocean road. The appartment is perfectly located and was ideal for us as a family to have a fantastic weekend. Birds come and sit at the terrace while you relax and enjoy the ocean view.

We had a great stay at Andrew’s place. Beautifully positioned in a quiet spot with a lovely walk to the main shops. Beautifully clean and magnificent view!

Great place to unwind and relax and take your dog with you!! Much better than most run down dog friendly places. Good ocean view and big balcony to enjoy it! Enjoyable walk to the main strip.

Perfect space, loved being able to bring the whole family (kid and a dog) would go back and stay every time

Andrews place was nice to stay at, just need a torch if you get there after dark to see the stairs and the lock box, the beds were comfortable though my son did hit his head a few times on the top bunk, over all i would go back again

The apartment is conveniently located a short drive away from the centre of town but still well positioned to make use of all amenities. The heating ensured that the place was cosy warm at night. The sun streaming in through the windows of a morning was a delight. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to get back here in the future.

Lovely property. The house is spacious and very comfortable for 4 people. Unfortunately it rained the whole time we were there, but the outdoor areas looked lovely as well. I highly recommend the River House if you are looking for a quiet and serene place to hide away for a few days.

This little place is super cute and in a great location. It was super comfortable and clean. The only thing i would note is that if you are travelling in summer BYO or request fans for bedrooms as it can get very hot. will stay again!

A huge house with plenty of space/s, every mod con and amenity for our 10 person family. The fireplace was perfect for our winter nights. A well stocked kitchen, massive dining and lounge area and large outside balcony and BBQ makd this the perfect holiday house! No matter where you are the views are amazing! This is a fantastic family, chill out, girls weekend house just far enough away from the main event but close enough to access whatever you need whenever you need it in gorgeous Lorne. Highly recommended!

This house was even better than we thought it could be. The view is magic, the spaces are so big, with a beautiful fireplace and great amenities. We really appreciated the special touches Lorne Holidays left for us too. Highly recommend!
