We had a great trip there and the view was amazing!!

We spent three nights in this beautiful place overlooking stunning lake Como. As other reviews mention, it is quite a hike from the parking to the house up many steep stairs but the view is completely worth it. Paola’s recommendations for the area were wonderful and the perfect way to experience the area. The weather was not great while we were there but we still had an amazing time due to her recommendations. Hope to be back again!

Lovely place!!! We love it ;) Paola's place was really nice, quiet, perfect view and charm. We enjoy our stay and we would like to go back. Definitely nice to stay there. A few stairs but worth the view, a little challenge with my 2 year old and luggage but able to do it. Paola was very helpful and always available.

Absolutely perfect

Amazing place with stunning views! The balcony was the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and soak in the stunning views of the lake. Paola is a lovely hostess, very welcoming and gave the best recommendations for local wines and restaurants! She even helped book us a reservation. Can’t wait to come back!

Paola and Stefano’s attic apartment was just what we needed to start our honeymoon. It is in a great location with walking distance to great restaurants! Paola stayed in touch with us everyday and was quick to respond. The view from the apartment is unlike anything else and it was amazing to wake up to. Highly recommended!

The apartment is situated in a quieter part of Menaggio. The town center is easy to reach though. The climb up to the apartment is worth it for the fantastic views across the lake. The beauty of this apartment is that you have everything you need if you fancy a night in the apartment , including a balcony so you can have a romantic meal overlooking the lake!

We truly enjoyed our stay in Paola and Stefano’s apartment in Menaggio. The apartment itself is clean, bright and comfortable and the views from the balcony and bedroom are beautiful! The sun over the lake in the morning is the perfect wake up! Menaggio is a great little town with lovely bars and restaurants and we enjoyed varenna and bellagio also, which were easy to get to via ferry. I hope we can come back again!

Lavertezzo is a charming place in the middle of breathtaking nature. Rosemarie and Gil have renovated and furnished the Rustico with great attention to detail and are their hosts with all their heart. We had breakfast on the sun terrace, we spent the evenings in front of the fireplace. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend a stay!

You can expect a super cozy accommodation. You feel immediately at home and the hospitality of the landlord is charming and always immediately available if you need tips or anything else. The accommodation is equipped with everything you need. Very lovingly decorated and located in a wonderful village right next to Lavertezzo and the Roman bridge. We will be back!

So where do I start, let's start with this word, WOW!!!!! This place is a hidden jewel, it feels like you are back in time. If you like beautiful view and quiet time, with absolutely amazing clean place to stay, then this is for you. Rosmarie has a real gift of hospitality, she gave us a lot of very good recommendation. If you want to have authentic experience, she will recommend great food places, and places to visit where there aren't a lot of tourist. Her husband is a hunter and we were blessed enough to be there when it was hunting season, so we witnessed him sending a deer over the helicopter and Rosmarie picking it up on her truck, it was a lot of fun and a very unique experience. The house where we stayed is fully equipped for cooking, if you would like to cook, we also enjoyed the fire place. I would highly recommend her place you would not be disappointed! And we can't wait to come back. To be honest with you I don't want anyone to find out about this place, I want it to stay hidden... Lol me being selfish

The Rustico in Sambugaro is really cute. Very, very clean and with great attention to detail and decor. We did not miss anything. The Verzasca Valley is a natural jewel and unique. Just breathtaking. The location and nature require that you are good on foot. A pretty steep affair. Rosemarie and her husband are very hospitable, nice and extremely fit on their feet (they probably have one or two mountain goats in their lineage ...). We enjoyed our stay in any case very much and relaxed relaxed again in the plains. Thanks again for everything!

Well equipped kitchen to make food. Plan a car for travel !!! (Or plan not to move too much during the stay) Perfect place if you like calm and tranquility, to be discouraged if you like the city and its atmosphere. Romantic decoration. No shop nearby for food shopping (20min drive to the nearest supermarket in tenero) Many possibilities of walks around (End of journey by car or on foot according to the chosen routes). A lot of people at the "ponte dei salti".

Everything great! Beautiful, romantic apartment, warm and caring care. 100 meters above the famous Ponte del Salti of Lavertezzo and still quiet and secluded. Really only recommended!

Rosemarie was a wonderful host and the cottage was beautifully decorated and remarkably clean. If you’re headed to the Lavertezzo area, I highly recommend staying there or any one of her places. I felt like I was home. I couldn’t have asked for more!

It really IS as good as the photos show. Super relaxing and well done home to enjoy your time in Italy. It sits in a quiet village with a wonderful restaurant an easy 3 minute walk away. You will wake to the most beautiful sunrises you've ever seen as you take it all in from the enormous windows that give you an amazing view of Lago Maggiore.

Amazing house in Someraro just above Stresa. We came for a few relaxing days during January and it was exactly what we wished for. Since the village is located like 200m above Stresa and the lake and the view of the lake and the mountains is flat out amazing from the house. The space is beautiful, cosy and thoughtfully decorated. Also Simon is a great host. Since we didn’t have a car he picked us up from the train station (twice as we arrived at different days) and brought us back for our departure. He even went to the supermarket with me so I didn’t have to bring food up on the bus. If u don’t mind a bit of coordination and don’t want to stay late in town every night you will be just fine taking the bus and maybe on Sunday or if you come back late a cab. Bus is like 5,50€ down and up and cab around 15€. To sum it up, amazing place. Will definitely come back.

A charming and comfortable villa with an outstanding view of lake and mountains. Very well appointed. The host was very friendly and provided much information. An excellent place to stay. One word of warning -if driving be prepared for extremely narrow streets!

It is the first time that we travel with Airbnb..and we made the center, Simon's house is fantastic..It offers a spectacular view from the first light of dawn, instead in the evening the hills surrounding the lake light up creating a unique atmosphere to enjoy in the silence that the area offers, to recommend to everyone beautiful!

This apartment is amazing. It is situated in such a beautiful small village, the view is definitely stunning and if you’re looking for a possibility to relax inside during your vacation, go for it - it’s so comfy, it feels like home. It also made travelling easy with our dog. Everything else you might need (supermarket, restaurants,..) are close by. Thank you for the stay!

Anna was an excellent host. Her and her husband picked us up from the train station and showed us around the apartment. It was clean, cozy, and as you can see from the photos, beautiful! The space is a quick 10 min bus ride to the main city of Como. We enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to others! Anna was available at all times and even offered for us to be picked up in Como if we missed the last bus.

This was hands-down the best Airbnb experience I've had. As other reviews have said, Anna and her husband go above and beyond to accommodate your stay! Despite a severe train delay they picked us up at the train station and even brought us back at the end of our stay. The apartment itself is beautiful and very well kept, stocked with essentials for cooking and relaxing. The view from the garden is breathtaking and the apartment's embedded location in the mountains of Como is ideal for any escape. We cannot stop raving about our trip!

The house is furnished with extreme care and taste. The fireplace and exposed stonework create a romantic and comfortable atmosphere. Absolutely recommended for a weekend in peace and quiet.

By far best place we stayed! Carlo was kind and organized. He picked us up from the train station. His home has the most beautiful view. The apartment was clean and welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for anything more on our honeymoon.

Carlo’s place was wonderful. My husband and I had such an amazing stay in Perledo. The view was unbelievable! Carlo was very attentive and helpful with check in. The apartment had all of the amenities we needed, and we would definitely stay at Carlo’s place again.

Great apartments with incredible breathtaking views. Everything you need is for living and more! Sauna, pool, fireplace, all cooking utensils, parking, and excellent location. And very friendly Carlo, thank you very much.

Carlo and his place are honestly the reason why we will be using Airbnb Plus from now on. It was our first Airbnb Plus experience and it certainly wont be our last. Even though we arrived at around 7pm, hours after our anticipated time, Carlo was waiting for us right outside the garage to greet and welcome us. He helped us with our luggage and introduced everything to us in the complex and the apartment itself. Not only that, but he goes above and beyond with providing well thought out binders that explain everything in the apartment (literally everything, like what switched do what) and also whats in Perledo and Varenna. The apartment was excellent and spotless. It was the perfect size for a couple. The balcony is very spacious and the view is out of this world. You will never get bored from that view. Even though there were some scaffolds in front of the balcony for a building paint job, the view wasn't fully obstructed and the workers did not make any noise or bother us. One thing to not is that if you will be driving to the apartment and not used to driving in Como, its a bit of a challenge at first but you will quickly get the hang of it. I would highly recommend this apartment and will be visiting it again soon when I get the chance.

The stay at Carlo’s was awesome! The spa is amazing, just know that the outdoor hot tub is not open in the late fall/winter. House was great and being near Varenna was very nice. The views do not disappoint! It is gorgeous. Only slight negative is the WiFi. It hardly works in the bedroom so you can really only use it in the living room. It did fine with my laptop but it constantly logged you out when you used it on the phone. Not a huge problem but could be a problem if you’re planning on getting lots of work done. Other than that, amazing!

A beautifully appointed apartment ...one of two restored by the hosts/owners in the last few years.Clearly, Geraldine & Lambert have gone to great lengths to enure the apartments were renovated to blend into the charming & historically significant surroundings. The apartment was perfect for a couple but could easily accommodate another 1-2 people. Geraldine greeted us warmly & ensured we had every thing we required. If driving, the apartment is not hard to find but is on a bend on a main road down to Stresa, so follow Geraldine's instructions carefully. The town centre is approx 5 minutes away by car (or about a 15 minute walk) down windy often quite narrow roads & ones that are well known to locals but to others could be a little tricky to 'navigate' . We found a vehicle extremely useful but local taxis are available. Be aware they are several steps on an external stairway to reach the apartment.... but worth the (minor) effort! The apartment has a comprehensive 'house manual' including details on local restaurants, activities & vine yards etc.....this which was extremely helpful & important to us as many rentals don t bother to include one in their apartment & guests are often left to struggle with operating unfamiliar appliances, heating etc or to locate local facilities in the area; it even included easy to follow instructions on walking tracks down to the centre of town ! Geraldine is a warm,very generous & professional host who was on call to give any assistance required. For us ,4 days was not enough ...thank you Geraldine for allowing us to stay in your warm, cosy & beautiful apartment....it was the perfect ending to our tour of Italy .(Lehnardo S -Australia)

We loved our stay in Stresa and that was largely due to Geraldine and Lambert making sure we experienced everything we could in our 4 day stay. The view was spectacular, the cottage very warm and we still enjoyed being indoors relaxing when the rain hit. The restaurant choices, excursion destinations and local walks were all given to us so we didn’t waste our holiday time. We can’t recommend this jewel in Stresa high enough.

Our stay at Geraldine and Lambert’s cosy charming loft-house was absolutely spectacular! They made us feel so welcome and comfortable as soon as we arrived by train to Stresa, and even picked us up from the station as a thoughtful bonus to the seamless check-in process. They both gave us such great tips/advice on how to navigate our way around Stresa! Their restaurant recommendations were spot on (we tried both and loved them!). The house itself is so incredibly adorable and exactly what you need if you’re looking for something relaxing, cosy and clean with an epic view of all of Lago Maggiore! Everything was exactly as pictured and the kitchen had all the appliances we needed to cook a few meals for ourselves. We walked up and down from the loft (which also has a private entrance) to the town of stresa in 15 min (the way back up is steep, but loved it for the exercise!). Geraldine and Lambert’s hospitality was just so incredible, they are there for whatever you need and are just the friendliest most thoughtful people to have as hosts. We will definitely be back here and will be recommending to all our friends who are thinking of traveling to this part of Italy! An absolute 5 star experience!

Our stay at Geraldine's place was absolutely wonderful!!! Our best Airbnb experience so far in Geraldine's charming cottage which has been carefully renovated by Geraldine and her husband, in spotless condition, with everything you need in a great location with amazing views. We had a very warm welcome from Geraldine with lots of useful information to help us make the most of our time in Stesa. Stresa and surrounding areas are stunning, we had a fantastic and relaxing time and would definitely stay there again.

This cozy home worked perfectly for our family of three adults. This home was thoughtfully renovated with so much character! We were provided everything that we needed by Geraldine. We walked into town everyday, but note that it is steep walk back! We had a delightful stay and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful views especially from the terrace! And her dinner recommendations were great as well!

This was an absolutely incredible find. If you are unsure- go and book! The view was breathtaking and a beautifully romantic trip away with great walks and minimal technology

Andrea met us in Miazzina and then personally brought us to the hut. The hike there took about 30 minutes. He gave us many tips during the ascent and also told the story of his grandmother. Very impressive. When we arrived at the hut, we were fascinated by the view. The cabin is well equipped and the sleeping space is large enough for 4 people. In the kitchen you had everything you need to cook. The toilet and shower were neat and clean. We had a great stay in a magnificent nature, a super nice and warm host, we felt very comfortable here and will definitely be back :-)

Fantastic indescribable experience ... we were there only one night unfortunately but it was magical ... everything perfect .. What a stay at the house of the Partisanin! An Airbnb experience of a very special kind. Those who are not afraid to walk 40 minutes of twisting paths uphill through a chestnut forest, should treat themselves to this place and this view of Lake Maggiore. The acquaintance with Andrea was something very special for us. He took a lot of time for us and offered us an extraordinary home. It is worthwhile remembering the story of his grandmother, who fought there as a partisan for freedom in the mountains many years ago. A thought on the edge: this is a place in the middle of almost untouched nature, everything you bring there, you should take back. It certainly was not the last time we were here. Mille Grazie!

Really great accommodation. Thank you for making this great place an Airbnb. There is a lot of love and work in the accommodation. The view is breathtaking, the room very cozy. The path to the property runs through a forest, it goes steeply uphill. Important to know, there is drinkable water up there ... so you do not have to carry water up the mountain.

Council to visit Bre '- Aldesago really lovely ... live immersed in a crib. The accommodation is equipped with all comforts. Very friendly and helpful host.

Very stylish apartment very clean and one of the best showers I’ve been in Really nice place to stay quiet clean and a very nice area The price per night is really good value , if the location isn’t!! This isn’t a dig at Christians place , but the cost of living in Lugano is ridiculous We called at a local cafe on way to apartment and payed 22 euros for a simple chicken curry with no rice And then at an Irish bar later on in same day 9 euros a pint of Guinness , this is dearer then dublin!!! Again this is no slight on this wonderful affordable apartment , just the area surrounding Even local Lidl seemed expensive Thanks again Christian

Great little apartment that is modern, clean, convenient, and comfortable. Was able to walk to the market and pick up items for my two night stay. Quick trip in for business and it was a perfect place for me to work and get where I needed easily. It was a hot couple of days in Lugano and there was a fan to help. Would definitely stay again.

At Christian in Lugano you can stay super. The apartments are quiet in a modern complex, facilities like a **** hotel. The bathroom is very modern and super clean. On foot you are fast on the lake, and close to shopping. The check in worked great. We will be back!

I had a great time at Eduardo’s! Very centrally located, apartment was nice to stay in, and was overall a pretty good experience.

I wanted something really affordable so I could spend my money on sightseeing and eating out. Found this little gem of a place was really good value for money! It's in a great location with only a 2 min walk to the lake and about a 15 min walk to the old town and promenade. It's only a single bed but I left in the morning and came back at night so it wasn't a problem for a single traveller. Eduardo was very friendly and easy to deal with.

I have stayed several times at Moo's home during university courses. Every time it was a pleasure to meet him and enjoy his outstanding hospitality. He is a very thoughtful, discrete and warm person. The accommodation couldn't be cleaner, provides everything that is needed, the bed is comfortable, the location in walking distance from the university, and there is a bus stop just in front of his house. I highly recommend staying at Moo's!!

amazing guy, amazing place!

Amazing place. You can’t ask for a better shower and terrace. Spotless and really calm, a place to enjoy the breeze and sound of the lake with good background jazz music. Totally recommended for a day or two of solitude. The location is approx 15 min to Lugano center through a dangerous hill road. There are two supermarkets and petrol stations on your way up to the flat.

Andrea’s spot on the lake was perfect for us. Hospitality was excellent and view was unbeatable. Parking was very convenient and the flat was clean and comfortable for us and our baby of 3 months old.

Eszter's accommodation is clean and graceful with everything you need, it is in an optimal location near the center and the owners are very helpful

Stayed about a week in Lugano at Irma’s place. I really wanted to stay more, the place is great, ie near downtown, with parking, great view, and Irma makes it even better with fast communication. The host is also very nice. Would recommend for sure.

One of the most tranquil locations in all of Lugano. The view is to die for and it was close enough to town that you can have a nice walk instead of using public transport.

We loved our stay in Lugano. The room is very well located just next to the olive tree path and very close to the monte bre. It is easy to walk to the lake shore in Lugano.

Has an amazing view and is a perfect apartment to stay in while visiting the lake. Everywhere is easily accessible with public transport or walking and there is a walking track right near the apartment. Would definitely stay here again x

If you’re looking for a calm place out of city center with a great view : that’s the place to be. Everything is reachable quite quickly with the bus number 2 at 8min walk.

Everything perfect!

Everything was great. The flat is very near the train station and walking distance from the city centre. Lia is very nice, she picked us up from the bus station and she answered all the questions about the city very quickly. The flat was very clean and it looked as if it was knew. I would definitely come back if I'm in Lugano again.

Perfect for a short stay in Lugano and very close to the train station. Especially if you are the type that just want a place to sleep and plan exploring the whole day, then this is ideal. The hostess is also very helpful and was ready to answer any question.

Lia’s place was small but cozy and conveniently located near the old town/lake area. Walkable to most sightseeing spots in town. The sofa bed is fitted for single person but there was a pull-out mattress for the second person. We had everything we needed for our stay. Lia was an outstanding host, prompt with communication, showed us around the neighborhood, even picked us up and dropped us off at our bus stop. We fully enjoyed our stay in Lugano.

Very convenient location for visiting the city center. Studio very well designed that offers all the necessary services. Friendliness of Lia who was very helpful.

Small bright studio, very comfortable. Ideal for one traveler, but two also fit easily. Lugano Station is not far away, and there is a city bus stop near the house. The apartment is quiet and calm, there is a comfortable balcony where you can enjoy coffee in the morning, looking at the distant mountains. Leah is a wonderful hostess. She is ready to provide any help, quickly, tactfully and unobtrusively. Highly recommend.

In a very good location the hosts are always available and hospitable. The room is comfortable and the bathroom small but functional. What really stands out is the willingness of Luca and Marco to help whenever I needed something during my stay and to have an occasional chat. Would definitely recommend it.

Marco and Luca's apartment is located on the 5th floor in a building with a lift, it is in an excellent position (about 15 minutes walk from the center and the funicular), in an area well served by public transport and inserted into a context with bars and clubs, pharmacies and supermarkets within walking distance. The room is also perfect for long-term stays, with a French-style bed and a wardrobe entirely at the guest's disposal, a small bookcase and clothes stand, and of course a chair and a desk; the common areas are lived in and welcoming, the bathroom destined for the guest (which perhaps is also used by Marco) is small but clean and functional. Marco was away during the week I was a guest at home, but he also made himself very available even at a distance; Luca was very hospitable, he gave me all the directions to do self check in and it was a mine of information and tips on the city and life in Lugano - and, if necessary, he was a great chat partner on the balcony. Highly recommended host!

A central location with no climbing of hills involved, good facilities and very friendly and welcoming hosts - I would definitely recommend staying at Luca and Marco's place. Besides the easiness of checking in and out, I especially liked the occasional chit-chat and the tips and tricks about what a local thinks is smart to do, not to mention both Marco and Luca's patience in dealing with my Italian. A very pleasant stay indeed :-)

Everything starting from the check in and till the check out was just perfect. The guys even allowed us to stay few hours more till the evening. They also helped us with printing boarding passes, allowed to try XBox (although we didn't have time for that), give us oil and let us to use their nice kitchen. Thank you very much.

Nadia's place is a real gem ! Location is absolutely beautiful and we had everything we needed. We came by car and parking on the blue spots is free over the weekend, which was really convenient for us.

The accommodation is really perfect. There is everything you need and first class clean !!! Nadja is very helpful and friendly as a landlord !! You can actually do everything on foot if you like to run. It is about 40 minutes to the supermarket. to walk, by bus about 8 min. The city is around 60 minutes away on foot, and 10 minutes by bus. I will gladly come again!!

A great place to stay up on the hillside with only a short walk for fantastic views over Lugano. Good amenities and great communication despite not speaking each other’s language.

The studio is really clean, warm and welcoming. Equipped with all services (equipped kitchen, linens, towels, TV, wifi etc.) The location is fantastic, with a splendid view over Lugano, including the lake. 5 minutes drive from the city center. Parking spaces available in front of the apartment. Signora Nadia is very kind, nice and very attentive. I will definitely be back.

The view of Lugano at night ... too beautiful

The appartment is out of the way of the town center but offers a really nice view of the city. Bit hard to find the house as the adress are not really indicated. However Nadia is a great host with really quick answer.

We spent some nice days in this accommodation, it was all very clean and tidy. The price / performance ratio and the information in the description are correct and correct. We will gladly come back another time. Nadia is a very warm and uncomplicated hostess and very fast with the answers.

We stayed by the Marina for one night. We had a really good time with the host (very quick in replying via message and very friendly) but also with the apartment itself. From the photos here on AirBnB it absolutely does not make it look beautiful! it is much bigger than it seems and above all the position is really strategic (on the lake and very close to Lugano!). Excellent cleaning, present all the services you need and if you go there in winter you will find 2 radiators to warm you up :) super recommended, I would go back!

The accommodation was just across the lake. Near the beach you can not say directly because it is only a small mini beach area with a small lawn. Otherwise, there is only mooring for boats. We were there with our dog only for one night. However, it has fulfilled its purpose completely. Many thanks for everything

A very interesting and very nice accommodation with a view of the lake, a little hidden by a tree. For people who love coffee, the pods are there for your pleasure.

The apartment has a wonderful view. It was very clean and well equipped. Mary, the host, was really responsive. The public bus has a limited schedule so pay attention to that. The woods above the town are beautiful and worth exploring. Also, the walk down to Bioggio was very beautiful, with nice views of the valley. It's equipped better for two people and we were fine with three. We would recommend it without any hesitation.

Wonderful apartment to stay in. Modern, stylish, spanking clean and well equipped for both short and longer durations of stay! Private basement carpark is a plus but for larger cars, it could take a while to familiarise with a tighter turning radius. Overall, a clear choice to definitely choose this apartment to stay in again for future visits!

The apartment is well located in a quite neighborhood of Lugano, walking distance to the center like 20/25 minutes. From the center it takes a little longer as you have to walk up. The apartment itself is super modern, all the furnitures are new, really big and you will feel more than home. Check in super easy parking space in the garage. Thanks again for this super stay!

Space is as described; super clean, stylish, tranquil. Luca is super accommodating and kind and one of the better hosts I have encountered. He was patient with my jetlagged wandering trying to find the apartment. Overall, it was super today, great location in town and very quiet and peaceful. If you are into yoga or meditation you will be nicely surprised.

Very lovely space to stay right in the city. Very easily reachable from the train station with close proximity to the lake and many restaurants and attractions. The place is even nicer than the pictures suggest and it is one of the roomiest apartments I have stayed in while I'm Europe. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay a lot in this beautiful appartment. Luca & Barbara are very friendly hosts and it was very easy to communicate with them. The appartment is very nice and stylish. The location is very near to the center and you will find a lot of shops in 2 or 3 minutes.

Highly recommend this fantastic apartment. We arrived later than expected but Luca was waiting for us when we got there and was so friendly and accommodating. He showed us around the apartment, gave us some tips and then left us to enjoy our stay in Lugano. The apartment is spacious, very well appointed, and has everything we needed for the 3 night stay. The location was fantastic... A very short walk to the main town centre. Would definitely stay again if we were lucky enough to be back in Lugano!

This is a stylish home, well equipped and in a great location.

The place is beautiful...everything we wished for was there. It is a perfect space to work or study while enjoying the sun, the view and the singing birds..going for some hikes or exploring the old mountain village Brè as well as Gandria and of course the beautiful city Lugano. And last but not least, Matteo is very friendly and helpful if needed.

Matteo's place was probably the best decision we could have made. The place is stunning. Incredibly tasteful and quiet so that you can have a relaxing time for the days you are there. If you are intending to spend more time at the place than outside I would advice to plan for grocery shopping since the place is located around 20 mins away from any shops. All in all we can't compliment this place or its host enough. A beautiful place made with love and care.

Even though I was late, Matteo was waiting for us with a full of smile and warmly welcomed. Everything is well equipped and the flat is quite modern. If I visit Lugano again, I will definitely stay here again.

On arrival, the apartment was lovely and clean, and very secluded from the rest of the world. Situated near the top of a mountain, the views of the lake are absolutely stunning, sunsets every night across the lake and total privacy. Would 100% reccomend

We were very happy to stay at Faggi 21. It feels bigger than it is because it is well organized and the main room is spacious with big luminous windows and a great view. We stayed for three weeks, so we appreciated the place in all ways. The bed is very comfortable, apart from the small pillows, and we found everything clean and well organized. Excellent if you reach the place by car, as the covered parking is very close to the elevator, so no hassle if you drive there. We found a good laundromat (with private parking) behind Lugano train station, which we found more practicable than the common building washing machine in the basement, which has fixed days and high costs. We definitely recommend this accommodation for anyone wishing to stay in an easily accessible location, close to the main highway and with good access to the center of Lugano and shopping areas.

Apartment as described, clean and well equipped, especially at the kitchen! Convenient location to radiate in the region, close to highways, but remains a little far from the center of Lugano to go on foot. Do not miss the area if you like shopping, the outlet foxtown in Mendrizio.

The apartment is very clean, and big, it has many amenities (coffee, tea, kitchen with supplies) and it is in a safe area, I would stay here again since it was very comfortable. The only thing that I have to say is that to get to the apartment if you are walking you need to walk 5-10 minutes from the bus stop and it is a very steep climb. Additionally if you put in the address given by airbnb in your GPS it takes you to the other side of town, check the email sent by the agency that manages the airbnb for the address and not the one given by airbnb.

The location is just outside Lugano, 20 minutes on foot from the lake. However, there are many services in the city which help the transfer and the location itself is well connected. The bathroom is very clean and the people very friendly. Worth it.

As everybody said before, views here are beautiful. You will get a lot of bang for your buck: the apartment is so nice and clean, comfy beds, full kitchen, and also it’s really close to the Lugano-Paradiso train station that will take you directly to the middle of Lugano. It is definitely a hike to get up there but it is so quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. We also had slight issues with the front door of the building and Giulia could not have been more responsive and kind. Stay here!!!!!

The house is large and welcoming, especially suitable for family travel. The address is on the mountain and you need to drive. The host is very nice.

Elisa's apartment was large, clean, very comfortable, all the things you want are there. The delivery of the keys was also very flexible and punctual. I recommend this apartment.

Beautiful apartment in Aldesago with a view of Lugano. The reception by Elisa was warm. Everything looked neat. It is very quiet despite the fact that you are so close to the city. The bus to Lugano is fine, but is not really cheap. For example, it is nice to take the bus down and take the footpath to Gandria and back by boat to Lugano. Because we stayed a bit longer, we visited Milan by train, also great to do and great fun. The road to Aldesago has many hairpin bends and the entrance to the apartment has four steps, 42 steps, to reach the entrance. If you have difficulty walking, then you have a problem. And it is also not pleasant if you have to lug around a lot.h

Perfect place to enjoy Lugano! Easy access to Monte Bre and the city by public transportation. We enjoyed our stay with stunning views of the valley and monte Salvatore and the alps from the balcony. Excellent location near Lugano station, few minutes walk. Comfortable self check-in, in the guide there was detailed information also for check-out and for staying in the apartment. We found the studio very clean and tidy, with everything you need for cooking, spacious and well-functioning fridge, top heating, plenty of electrical outlets and excellent Internet connection. Spotless sheets and plenty of pillows and blankets. There is everything you need, including soap and toilet paper for a couple of days, the environment is spacious and clean.

Best location, close to station and shuttle bus station, close to city center. Beautiful lake view. Great host.

There are many reason to stay in this lovely B&B. The owners are welcoming, helpful, and gracious. Lounging in the garden was relaxing. The unit was stocked with snacks and anything a tired traveler could need. It is also walking distance to Osteria Della Pista - I had some of my best meals in Italy there.

The apartment is in a good location, not far from train station. There’s no AC but Lugano can be cool at night so it’s ok to stay there even during summer.

We can’t wait to go back, stunning apartment views, lots of nearby places to explore, Mount Brè, Mount Salvatore and the hiking routes are well signposted as we didn’t use a map! The scenery is breathtaking. The apartment amenities were perfect so we felt comfortable straight away and our host was extremely helpful and had quick responses to my last minute questions about were to eat even though these suggestions were already at the apartment! Highly recommended.
