We had a wonderful stay at Tinku and Sanat's place. The room was, very clean and comfortable, and right outside there is a beautiful garden where you can relax and hear the birds singing. We were driving a rickshaw as part of the rickshaw run and arrived there with no issues. We drove our rickshaw down to the village, which is very pretty with nice people. Highly recommend staying here and definitely trying Tinku's delicious homemade meals.

The place is just as beautiful as in the pictures with amazing plants all around, and a great patio to admire them and plenty of books to read. The room was very spacious with a private bathroom and plenty if windows towards the beautiful jungle. There are ventilation holes above the window and a fun over the bed, so it was never to hot. Also I was offered a product to protect me from the mosquitoes but there were not really mosquitoes (and I am quite sensitive to them). One afternoon we even wet for a lovely walk around the house and to the small village, so we saw all the neighbouring plantations (pepper, cinnamon, coconut, rice, tapioca, etc). Traditional food that i was offered was also very tasty!

Unbeatable experience, they were such amazing beautiful kind people who treated us incredibly well. The food was delicious and they have a stunning balcony surrounded by lush green flora. I can only recommend this lovely place!

Tinku and Sanat were the perfect hosts. Friendly, helpful, efficient, relaxed and generous. I arrived after a very long 3 flights and my bag was lost along the way. Tinku greeted me warmly, showed me to my very comfortable room in their beautiful tranquil house, and offered everything from tea to towels. The house is set amidst a jungle of mango and coconut trees, very secluded away from neighbours. When my bag was delivered next day, Sanat collected it and then met me in Kozhikode to put me on a bus ack to his place, where I stayed for a second night. I slept soundly both nights and was treated to a delicious breakfast next day. Sanat also gave me several contacts to help me on my travels, which turned out to be very useful. I cannot recommend this place enough.. it is very handy for airport too, just 150rupee auto (rickshaw) ride. And a short walk to main Kozhikode-Thrissur Rd., With frequent buses passing. And quite close to Feroke train station. Right beside Calicut University, and botanical gardens.. go there!

I was choosing a place for its unique style and short distance to the Calicut international airport. Tinku organiséd a transfer for us from the airport and when we were stuck there because of luggage problems, they were waiting for us, thanks a lot! Just 15 min drive to there place, it’s situated in the small village: amazing tropical nature and 20 minutes walking distance to Calicut university campus, where you can find good food, beautiful park and botanical garden. Tha house itself is very special “tropical vintage” style, with lemon car at the entrance (wow for all photo lovers)). We were coming with baby, it was very calm and shanti, just birds singing. Important to know: there is an open terrace near by room, so parents should take care of babies. It’s available to have veg food at home and drinks (Tinku was cooking for us very healthy food). Also available to rent bike - Royal Enfild, to visit area around, river, small villages and big city Calicut. Thanks for hospitality and wish this place be full of good guests! We stayed the first time in a Laurie Baker style house and we were verv pleased. The room and attached bathroom were very clean. Sanats wife und his mother made our stay very pleasant. Every day we enjoyed a different Kerala-style breakfast and fantastic dinner. Tinku took us to a very interesting walk through the village and fields. We had wonderfull conversations and we will be remembering for a long time this beautifull place. We can highly recommend this place.

Everything was great. Perfect infact. Lovely apartment very clean and have all the amenities in the kitchen and house. As a suggestion, WiFi is missing, wish you have a router with a decent data plan. And yes the fingerprint access to the apartment complex is a pain every time ! But that ensures security. Thanks so much.

Myself and my wife stayed in the apartment for 4 days. Excellent location with nice views. Neat and clean apartment with great ambiance. Very good hospitality. The local care taker allowed early check-in at around 9.00 AM and a late check-out in the evening. A full fledged kitchen enabled us for making our own dishes. Definitely we will be visiting again.

An amazing place to stay with family

It is a lovely place with all basic amenities, good neighbourhood, well connected to the city and next to the mall. It also has a departmental store inside and an auto stand at the gate. Ravab is a great host as well. We had a very nice stay over there. Will definately consider it again for our next trip to the city.

Great place to Stay. Cleaned and well managed property. This is also the best location as this have a equidistant from all the location in Kozhikode. I also liked hospitality of you and your brother. This was a cleaned one. Best part of the property was adjutant to the mall which was great hang out place.

Great location , Located on the NH ... Good View. All in All a good place to stay with lot of eatery's new by. Carry water cans from outside . Rest is fine.

I booked a dorm and I was prepared for what I usually get to see him I book a dorm in India but to my surprise it was much more better than anywhere I have been to. I must say they have been very thoughtful and considerate while making this space.Unlike other places this place got multiple urinaries ,bathrooms and wash area enough to accomodate a big group.The only thing I missed was shower head in bathrooms. Location is beautiful and staffs are courteous.Food is delicious and cheap.I couldn't see mediation hall as I was only person staying there. I will definitely come back soon with family and friends.

Highly recommended if you want to be in a relaxing environment. Good food is another bonus. The road to reach Sattva (Apr 2019) is not in a good condition. Yet, Sattva will make you comfortable. I would say a 2-3 night stay is required to enjoy the property n the nearby places. Planning to visit back again soon. Thanks. Note: This is a proper resort, not a homestay kinda place.

Had an amazing stay in Satva for 2 nights. Great pleasure to meet Jeevan ji, Surbala and the staff. They are very courteous. The campus is beautifully placed amidst the mountains. Lot of flowers and has an organic farm. The Meditation Hall is well equipped for a perfect session. I enjoyed Osho meditation. The rooms are very clean and class. The food was simple and awesome. Would surely visit again.

One of the best resorts i have been to. In a beautiful locale, very friendly and helpful staff. Will recommend this place to everyone and specially if someone is a follower of Osho, it's a must visit place. Wish the camp hadn't been postponed. Will definitely be back soon.

Sattva was a nice stay. I loved the ambience... it is excellent and surrounded by hills and foggy! interior and staff was courteous. It also has an Osho meditation hall, I enjoyed the meditations. Food was traditional Kerala food simple and delicious! Overall, a lovely experience. I surely would love to visit again!

It was great staying at Sattva. It is almost at the peak of the mountain, small streams of water flowing here and there. Jeevan and his wife Sindhu were nice and kind to to interact with. She showed me local vegetation and plants that is being grown at their place. Food was simple and good. Dormitory, toilet everything was well structured and comfortable. There was a waterfalls near by which I enjoyed a lot! Walking around in the morning and evening breeze was soothing. Yes, If I am coming to Kerala I would like to stay at this place again and I recommend this place for the travellers like me. It's good!

Jibu is not just a superhost.. He is an exemplary and outstanding host. He is sensitive to your needs. Mrs Salija stays on the property and is very warm and friendly. She is will provide you amazing home cooked meals. We were treated to one of the tastiest kerala breakfasts. The food and service was provided on time.... The room was kept cool and ready before our arrival..... All the little touches enhanced our experience... We came away having wished that we could have spent more time with them.... I would definitely recommend this nice and friendly homestay!! The house is very pretty in a calm area, the room very comfortable et clean, the whole family care about me and were attentive to my needs. It was a perfect stay for me!!

The bedroom was lovely, a really clean and well designed space. Jibu was amazing, he went above and beyond to make our stay, and journey to and from Calicot, as easy and enjoyable as possible. He really took great care of us and we are very grateful to have met him.

It has everything you would want in a homestay: a fresh, clean, and spacious room; very comfortable bedding; all the necessary amenities; delicious and ample breakfast; and a quiet, pleasant location. But best of all are the people. The host family, Salija, Suresh, and Sonu, made us feel like we were also part of the family. Their kindness, generosity, and hospitality were exceptional and we loved the time we spent with them. The manager, Jibu, was attentive and accommodating. He checked in with us regularly, and helped us with meals, transport, and local sight-seeing. When we needed assistance later in our trip, these wonderful people leapt to our aid without hesitation.  This was a home-away-from-home for us, and we'd especially recommend it to other international visitors.

A nice homely place, clean and very close to the city center. we reached much earlier than we expected (5:45 AM) and the caretaker Pushkar opened the gate with a smile. He is a wonderful person and helped us all throughout our stay. Highly recommended

This place was easy to locate, Haroon & Vijay was quite helpful throughout the Checkin process & my stay. The place was well maintained and clean. As I was keen on trying out the local delicacy Haroon suggested the right places, and this place is the right choice if you're visiting Calicut.

This is second time we are choosing the place for stay. Haroon response was very quick as we booked the place in the last minute. The location in the map is very accurate. The caretaker is very responsible and attends whenever in need.

Great place. Even though the host was out of station every thing was well arranged and managed.

Communication from Santosh was one the best I had in Airbnb. Once the booking was accepted he called me a number of times to guide me to his apartment. He also gave clear instructions for operating the front door lock, TV etc. The apartment is on a small hill and the view from the 7th floor where the apartment is, what to say, breath taking! Do not miss the sun-rise and sun-set!! I highly recommend anyone who is in Kozhikode the apartment of Santosh. Thanks Santosh for a great stay.

The apartment was very nices and easy to find the location with ample parking ! Nices balcony 180% views , and its cleaned and best interior works of the flats, good bathroom facilities , and we'll maintained , good and co operation host, (Santhosh )

Santosh has a great place, farther away from the town itself. But the lush greenery surrounding the property more than makes up for it. The house well equipped with all the modern amenities, however there is a bit of trouble with the internet connectivity. So if you're someone who works remotely or needs to stay online a lot, bring your own device.

Good apartment. Value for the money. Uber was available for travel all the time. Care taker was really helpful and sweet. Free to call anytime for any help or suggestion. Care taker made our stay in Calicut stress free.

Clean and cozy apartment with modern facilities. Parking was available in front of the apartment. The care-taker Pushkaran was friendly and helpful with the luggage and in getting some groceries. We were four adults and 4 kids, so an extra bed was required, which was provided for a nominal cost. Had a very comfortable stay.

Any time checkin and checkout fecility ... Enough space for a family or group of 5-6 ... Private space ...

Spacious for 4 people, and a great caretaker Bijay.

Rajeesh is the kindest superhost I have ever met. We have not personally met even when we arrived in their place but his hospitality transcended to us that we really had a very comfortable stay in his place. He also has a friend, Bigilesh, who accomodated our every concern. He also sends us to school everyday and he has become our close friend too. The people in Kerala are amazing. Im out of words! Rajeesh's place is very near to malls and important places where you can get all your basic needs. You wont have any problem. You must rent his place when you go to Kerala.

A good welcome of varied and delicious breakfasts and calm

I’ve been at Dilna's house for 21 days. And when it was time to leave I felt so sad: I was leaving my family! Before booking I already knew that this place would be perfect for me: a beautiful area surrounded by nature and tranquility. The house is very beautiful, clean and comfortable. There is a beautiful balcony where you can relax or have a chat with Dilna and her wonderful parents. The meals that Dilna's mother prepares are delicious, I will miss her food prepared with such care and love! I will miss all of them, I felt at home and part of the family! All was perfect I couldn't have asked for anything better. Nanni for all! I’ll carry with me 🙏🏻

Dilna's place is a good option for travelers who wants to stay very near to the city but in a lush green location. Dilna and her parents were so cordial and simple. The breakfast they served was amazing :) I highly recommend this place.

A great place to spend quality time with your friends/family, away from the hustle bustle of the city. Although the house is far from the main road and difficult to access, but uncle is more than happy to share his scooter, in case one wants to go to the city. Aunty makes amazing South Indian food(vegetarians need not worry at all). One can contact anyone in the family in case of any suggestions/queries. Overall, it was a great break from the routine city life!

This is a warm home full of love. I have spent an unforgettable four days here. Dilna's mother, (a painter, I call her little face beauty) took care of me very well, and thoughtful and thoughtful made me feel very comfortable. My mother's cooking is also very good. The Indian coffee cooked for me every morning is very unique, very comfortable, and I feel relieved. The balcony is very comfortable, I always like to stay there, watching the coconut trees fluttering in the wind, listening to the birds singing and the sounds of nature. It is a place that is suitable for long-term and comfortable in the short term.

A good stay and a super family with lot of humility and love

It’s a nice place to stay. Initially the place may seem little interior to the main road but once you reach there, you will realise that it is very much accessible to all places. The place is very clean and well maintained. Best part is the hospitality of the family. While we were there, Dr.Dilna’s parents took special care of all our needs and we felt more like visiting our home town and being part of our own family. They are extremely friendly, nice and genuine people and we felt good spending our time with them. They served delicious food and made us feel at home. Dr. Dilna was also around on one of the days of our stay and was very helpful in assisting my family with getting things done locally. Can confidently recommend this place to anyone looking for an accommodation in Kozhikode.

Wow! What can I say about Shobith's place. It was wonderful to have a whole house to ourselves –– and to have a room just to do yoga in. :) This was a great place to spend two rest/work days on our bicycle trip through India. Great neighborhood, too + having a security guard made us feel super safe. Thank you Shobith!!

If you are planning to stay outside IIM Kozhikode and are a party of 5-6 people, blindly book this place. Excellent Experience. 7kms from IIM Kozhikode. On call auto takes 150/- to 200/- from college to villa.

Good place to stay and roam around near to the city.

The place was much better than what we expected. Property has 24x7 security and a caretaker who will make sure to meet all your needs including getting groceries and cleaning the house. The host Shobith is very helpful in guiding the tourist places and activities and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

This place is awesome for family visit and I had meet such a helping people which meant a lot to me when I have difficulties to find alternative. Great job by helper from timely response to cleaning the place. Special thanks to Johnson and Shobith for making my trip great and memorable

Extremely warm hosts. Dr. Dilna's parents were just too nice. The locality is not at all far from the main city. It is very green and peaceful. We also saw a turtle and a few birds around the place. We wish to go back to this place some time in monsoon as it might be more beautiful during that time. A special word for Shadow- the extremely gentle dog, wish we could pet him more.

A wonderful stay in a calm and peaceful atmosphere. Dilna and her parents are nice, down to earth people and will treat you like a family member. And breakfast they offer is a thing not to miss! Homely and delicious!!

A homestay in its truest form. We felt so welcome by the whole family and were talking until late night. The picture looks like an art piece but the house and the surroundings are really like that, simply wonderful. We enjoyed the walk through fields of banana plants, watering systems and coconut forest with Tinku.

A very stylish place outside Kozhikode. It’s near the highway but also very quiet. I enjoyed my morning with a tea and chirping of birds. Sanat, Tinku and the family were very hospitable and friendly. Will recommend this place.

A delightful home stay with incomparable views of the river and the bird sanctuary (you can see the point where the river meets the Arabian Sea too!), really lovely family who respect your privacy too. Set in a scenic village in Kerala, this is the place to be if you're looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful place with genuinely kind, warm and hospitable people. Special creds to Mira - the lady of the house - who is passionate about plants and trees and can cook up a storm with fresh ingredients, she made sure that each meal was a treat! I'd book again without a blink :)

Maleyam is an ideal place for people who are looking for a serene getaway. The place is close to the backwaters and had a small hut near the water where the guests can sit and enjoy the nature. The room is ideal for 2 people with good amenities. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly which gives a homely atmosphere.
