Monthly Rentals in Saimaa

The cottage is isolated from the civilization without electricity nor running water but the facility is definitely more than enough to make yourself comfortable and immerse yourself fully in the Finnish nature. The view from the cottage is absolutely stunning and in the night only you hear is water waves and animal sounds. We were here beginning of October and could enjoy sunlights at the port. We didn’t go into the lake (apparently it was 7 degrees) but hopefully we can come back to enjoy the swimming in the lake in summer! The cottage itself was built by the owner Mari-Anne and it was unbelievably well designed! We were so happy to be able to stay at her cottage. Mari-Anne was very responsive and gave us all the help needed including the explanation of fire and gas system. She is such a lovely person to interact with.

A little piece of paradise by the lake! Eila’s cottage is absolutely wonderful: surrounded by nature, with huge windows that make you feel immersed in the peaceful landscape of the calm lake and quiet forest. The private wood-fired sauna is a truly authentic and rejuvenating experience. The peace and tranquility you find here really stay with you. Eila is an incredibly kind and helpful host, always ready to make your stay perfect. A place where time slows down and every moment feels special. Highly recommended!

Beautiful nature. Nice cabin with a great sauna. Everything was in order and worked well. Easy recommendation for people who want to enjoy a good peaceful time in nature.
