The cottage is nestled in 30 acres of fields and woodland where you can watch our many animals pottering around enjoying their sunny French retirement! We are halfway between the pretty villages of Mialet and Saint-Jory-de-Chalais which are well serviced with shops, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Both villages are less than 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.

This charming and spacious apartment of more than 50 m², dating from around 1640, is a wonderful place to stay. Thanks to the authentic, thick natural stone walls, it stays wonderfully cool in the summer. Towels, bedding and kitchen towels are already ready for you, and you are welcome to make free use of our garden and natural swimming pond. And of course: everyone is welcome with us. Ideally located in the center of Périgord and all the sites that make it rich, our house, La Maison de Marc, is an outbuilding of one of the most beautiful estates in Périgord, La Chartreuse du Maine. As in the 18th century, everything here exudes peace, harmony and beauty. Located in the middle of nature, it is the perfect place to recharge and explore the beautiful Dordogne-Périgord region. We converted this former farmhouse into a luxury home.

You will enjoy staying there for its comfort and tranquility, with its south-east facing terrace, jacuzzi and garden. PLEASE NOTE: Jacuzzi included for all rentals between May 1 and September 30. Outside of this period the jacuzzi is extra, on request.
