"An excellent place for all to simply relax and enjoy the location and surrounding area. Visit some truly spectacular places, there are plenty of walks right on the doorstep including a path to the Grand Etang, this lake is one of the largest and most beautiful bodies of water in the department. Easy access to Nontron, famous for knife manufacture and the cities of Angouleme, Perigueux and Limoges are all equidistant with the latter being the closest airport at around an hours drive.

This recently restored boathouse will give you a real switch off from the modern world feel, no tv or wifi to complicate things, just birdsong and views across the lake. Within 1hr of the Dordogne, numerous chateaux at 20 mins as well as some lovely local villages. Come and unwind.
