Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Saluda River

We originally booked in Clemson near our student, but had to leave due to an unexpected issue at the apartment. The property management quickly switched us to an available option in nearby Seneca and we ended up in a wonderful, very spacious house, comfortable and clean. We had everything we could wish for and enjoyed the luxurious master bath, very-well stocked kitchen and the gym! The house is surrounded by lovely oaks and the area is peaceful and quiet. We stayed over a week and felt very well rested when we left. The management went out of their way accommodating us.

Kate's is such a wonderful and kind host, so thoughtful and considerate. We were dealing with the passing of a very well loved family member and needed to all be together during this tough time. Kate's warm welcome and detailed, thoughtful instructions made our stay in her house so comforting. Upstairs bedrooms included the beautiful master suite, elegant bathroom and a bonus room with childrens toys and games. The main level included another bedroom and bathroom, so appreciated after long days of travel. Great, fully equipped spotlessly clean kitchen, stocked for guests with K cups & ground coffee. Kate also had a collection of toys and games for kids, toddlers and even babies in the under-the-stairs closet. But sadly we were so busy I missed seeing them until after the baby, five year old and their mamas and daddies went home. The house has a lovely backyard, lots of outdoor seating. Blooming red azaleas when were there made for beautiful family photos. Great park, short walk away.

We have stayed at a lot of Airbnbs over the years as we travel and this was towards the top of our list. It was very clean, my wife loved the decor, comfortable, and a safe area for my family and I. It was about 20-25 minutes to Congaree National Park and 10-15 minutes to University of South Carolina. We would highly recommend!

My niece’s wedding was this weekend. We booked a hotel but unfortunately it was 35-40 minutes away. Last minute I checked AirBnB and found this place 5 miles away. Like I said, last minute, so I messaged Tyler and told him it would be after midnight before we arrived and ask if that would be a problem. He responded within 3 minutes and said , not a problem at all. Not only was it not a problem, but he also went down that night and turned the outside porch lights on for us. The pictures really didn’t match the place, and that was a good thing. To us, the house in person was much bigger than we had expected from the pictures. Super clean, and Tyler was way easy to work with. I’m originally from that area but have lived in Nashville Tn for the past 25 years. Definitely booking this place when I return for family visits instead of the Hotel downtown I normally book in Spartanburg. Way more room and cheaper by the night. Quite impressed and definitely my best AirBnB stay to date!

Morgan’s home was as described in the listing. Peaceful, clean, and recently renovated. We had a full house and always had hot water for showers. Easy 20 minute drive to downtown activities and restaurants. 10 minute drive to grocery stores. Would recommend and stay again.

The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. There was a lot of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. We were in town for a wedding and it was very centrally located. We would definitely stay there again!

Very convenient to the Whitewater Center, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. I especially appreciated that the house wasn’t cluttered so there wasn’t much for my toddler to mess with.

This home was absolutely wonderful. It was super clean and had an abundant amount of towels. We had 5 adults in our party that stayed there and there was plenty of room to spread out in. My daughter graduated from basic training and we did a cookout in the backyard where the rest of the family joined for a few hours. The grills must have been great because my ex had no problem grilling. The tv entertained the grandparents while others played cornhole, cards, and dominoes. The hosts were wonderful and recommended a restaurant when asked. The beds were super comfy. If you’re a GameCock fan, definitely decorated for you. Highly recommend.

Rene was such an awesome host! The apartment looked incredible and welcoming for the holiday season. I truly enjoyed the conversations and fellowship we had. I give the airbnb a ten star! Hope to go back there one day!

We had an absolute delight staying at Cindy's place! Located in a peaceful neighborhood, and close to all the essential amenities. The property itself is immaculate, beautifully maintained, and furnished with brand-new everything. The beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Our kids had a blast playing at the community's playground and taking leisurely strolls around the neighborhood, admiring the charming homes. This was our first experience staying in a tiny community like this, and we're so glad we discovered Cindy's gem. It's now our go-to 'second home' whenever we're in the Piedmont/Greenville, SC area. A huge thank you to Cindy and her co-hosts for providing our family with a comfortable and relaxing stay. We appreciate your hospitality!

Melodie's place is a slice of heaven if you're looking for a peaceful hobby farm retreat. Around every corner were new discoveries whether the beauty of the landscape or the animals in their various living spaces around the property (horses, cows, chickens, couple friendly cats, and sweet welcoming dog Shelby). If you have time for a walk to the woods you'll be treated to a bubbling brook w a bench beside it for some contemplative time, not to mention flowers to gaze at all along way. We hadn't really been aware of the sauna (maybe it's in the listing and we missed it) but it's an incredible treat if you can find time one evening to check it out. There's even more than the exterior beauty and sauna treat, but I'll let you discover some surprises on your own. Ideally, you'll spend several days so you can take it all in. Melodie's family incl husband + kids were so nice + made us feel at home. Our stay was A+++ and we hope to return. Worth driving a little farther for this GEM.

Had a great stay at Cynthia’s Airbnb! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Cynthia was incredibly nice and helpful, making sure everything went smoothly. She was quick to respond to any questions and gave great local recommendations. Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Victoria’s Airbnb was so much fun. Our kids had a blast playing in the creek and tree house. She even left an Easter basket of toys for our kids outside the door. We’ll definitely be back the next time we need to stay in Columbia!

Exceptional stay in Greenville. Couldn't ask for a better location, easy to park, host extremely responsive, instructions were easy to follow, very comfortable, place itself was very well appointed and clean. Would not hesitate to book this place again.

Linda is a wonderful host and this home is absolutely beautiful! As attractive as the photos are we were even more impressed upon entry. This place is updated everywhere with quality and taste and it is very spacious. So many great spots to sit and enjoy a coffee a book plus a great walking trail around the lake. Only wish our stay was longer so we will be back for a week next time!

We had a great stay, unfortunately we were in the middle of a hurricane and Tim and Patty were so helpful. We lost all power but still were able to have a great time in spite of the circumstances. Thanks again you guys. I see why you guys are super hosts.
