Vacation rentals with a fireplace in San Jose

A quiet, clean and comfortable place to stay for a group of 3 adults while exploring the area. The hosts gave us clear instructions and met us as soon as we arrived in the early evening. They stayed in communication with us during our stay. Felton is a small town with a couple of local cafes and grills and an overall relaxed atmosphere. Scott’s Valley, just 10 minutes away, is a bit busier but has many more food options if desired. We had excellent meals in both places. We enjoyed several hikes in a magnificent redwood park is just minutes away by foot or vehicle. We also enjoyed a visit with cousins in San Jose about 40 minutes away. A wonderful vacation experience overall!

I always choose to stay at Emrehans when I need a place near San Jose. Very beautiful, clean home/yard, great location. Emrehan communicates well and has been very accommodating to me. Very good price for the stay. Would recommend.

Great home in a great neighborhood. I felt safe leaving my car parked in front. The home was great, plenty of water and snacks for the kids and lots of beds. Very quiet and peaceful, but just a short walk or drive to shops and restaurants.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The home was peaceful and located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood with beautiful views. One of the biggest highlights was how welcoming they were to our pups. It made our stay even more enjoyable. Communication was excellent; they were always quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

We had an absolutely delightful stay at this Airbnb property. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. They were quick to respond to any questions we had and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The house itself was immaculate. It was clean, well- maintained, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made preparing meals a breeze. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable , which was a huge plus along with the sun room which we used as our office. I thoroughly enjoyed the unique charm of the house and the surrounding area.

We had to extend our stay and Lili was more than accommodating. MAHALO!!! The rental exactly as shown; clean, lots of space, large kitchen & dining area with a cozy living room. Bedrooms; all are nicely sized. Beds are a little "tall" (we are petite people), but it's def comfy. Bathrooms; both are nicely sized. Shower is great for those with accessibility issues. The tub; a little "tall" but lots of room. Water pressure (important); ON POINT! Hot water; responsive. Washer, Dryer, Dishwasher; great to have all three available. Kitchen; basic items available. Enough to get you by. Parking; room for one vehicle in driveway with some street parking available. Neighborhood; quiet, safe. Husband went running every day. Lots of restaurants, and businesses within walking distance. 15 minutes away from Stanford Medical, which is the reason why we were there. CATS - If you are allergic, be aware. Neighborhood cats hang out on the property. Not much you can do. REPEAT STAY for sure.

The home was better than described. Pristine on the inside, probably because she won’t allow pets, which we really appreciate! Great space for my family and three children. Private entrance even though it is part of a duplex had no idea anyone else was out there 100% would stay with her again House was Decluttered made it easy to have kids around.

Lori and Don raise the bar on how to welcome guests. This home away from home was warm and welcoming, gorgeously stocked with small kindnesses to ease in travelers showing up late. I loved seeing a small flock of sheep and goats graze the pasture behind the house in the early morning, and hearing the chickens cluck in the frontyard coop while getting some fresh morning air.

Matthew had such a warm home that was perfect for our group of 7! Lots of space, clean and cozy.

Terri's place won my heart. Gorgeous view, cozy fireplace, beautiful bathroom, and filled with wonderful books and records and paintings. Felt like I was housesitting for my cool bohemian friend. Stayed three nights on a solo work trip and the place had everything I needed. Note that there are multiple entrances to the building which can make check-in a little tricky. But Terri was proactive and helpful. Very sweet little place.

Terry’s place was absolutely beautiful and very cozy. Loved the bedding and all the classic decor. I would definitely stay here again and loved it being next to Bella Vista park. Amazing views when you hiked to the top.

I had an amazing experience at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was ideal, close to [highlight a nearby attraction or convenience], making it easy to explore and enjoy the area. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting San Francisco !

Great, central location in nice neighborhood. Building complex is on the older side but the unit itself is updated with plenty of very nice features. The unit is spacious, beds and bedding very comfortable, loved the easy to use fireplace, plenty of nice furniture, washer and dryer and appreciated the off street parking space. The kitchen could use a few more things if you want to cook something fancy but we found what we needed. Nice stay, thanks to Laura for her responsiveness.

We had a family gathering ages 6 mos to 74 and it was wonderful. The home was a perfect space to share a family meal and enjoy the company. The hot tub was a treat! Location is great and walkable. Shea is a great host.

This was a beautiful home to stay in the Lower Haight neighborhood! Gabrielle provided extremely useful information regarding the home and the surrounding neighborhood prior to our arrival, so we were able to have everything planned out. The layout and spaces were perfect for our group of 5 - me and my husband, our two children, and my mother. Uber XL's were plentiful and came quickly to the home. The house was beautiful and exactly as described. We really appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The linens and beds were extremely comfortable. Gabrielle and Michael were very responsive to any question we had during our stay. I can't recommend this place enough! Beautiful, comfortable, and spotlessly clean! We hope to return one day! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Very nice place to stay. It felt like a home away from home

Nice and spacious two bedroom home. This made our stay very relaxing and I appreciated the gated driveway. Thank you May for hosting our stay, we were comfortable and had a great trip from out of state.

What a gem! We had a wonderful time at Steve’s house. The house is beautiful, functional and well decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed plus more. The property itself was incredible - private and peaceful with many activities for kids (and adults). The house is also ideally located close to downtown Los Gatos. Quick and kind responses from our host. We will definitely try and stay here again.

Beautiful views! Our family enjoyed our stay and the main floor layout was perfect for our extended family's get together. The pool table, foosball table and games were loved by adults and kids alike. A few family members did get car sick on the way to the house though (not the fault of the house or host by any means), so just be aware that it is a windy road to get up there.

Highly recommend this lovely spot if you’re anywhere in the Santa Cruz area. Jaimi and Beau are excellent hosts and have a clear attention to all sorts of details for that luxurious vibe while still feeling cozy, tranquil, and away from it all.

Grace's place is convenient for going to Stanford University. Supermarkets such as Safeway, Trader Joe's, and Walmart are all within walking distance. Thank you for Grace's hospitality and friendly guests; I enjoyed staying at Grace's house.

Overall very nice and unique place to stay! We had the upper floor area and were 2 of us so was plenty of space. The reclining bed was a nice surprise! Slight issues were that the entry metallic gate’s sliding lock came off at the slightest touch, and the stairway light switch had a loose connection and the button needs replacement. But these are very minor things which did not really affect the quality of our stay. Plenty of street parking was a definite plus! 5 stars!!
