This is a nice place. Our room had a view of the lake, and there are a few good restaurants within a short walking distance ( <5 minutes). You can walk to the main drag, but that is probably 10 - 15 minutes away. Heated floors are great for chilly nights. Included breakfast was good and the staff was very nice and welcoming.

A pleasant experience in this space, it is a very warm and comfortable environment. Hugo always with the best predisposition to any concerns and inquiries that arose prior to our arrival and during the stay. I organize for us the pick up at the airport and our visit to the glacier and Chalten, it has all the information you need so you don't have to worry about something else than enjoy, even prepare viandas for the excursion days. The only bad thing, we had days to keep getting to know so we will definitely be back.

We loved our stay at Maria & Hugo’s B&B. Hugo was so helpful at the start of our visit mapping out all the treks we can do around the area. The beds are so comfy and so warm with the heating on all the time. The showers are especially amazing - so warm! The breakfast is lovely too, great selection, all you can need. The kitchen space is outside of the main building which is huge and enough room for everyone to cook their own meals. We stayed a week and loved our stay. The B&B felt like home away from home. Thank you Maria & Hugo for an excellent stay. Will definitely recommend.

I loved it here. I’m so surprised they only have 3 photos up. It’s absolutely gorgeous and more photos would win everyone’s hearts. There are hikes available right from the property that are ridiculously beautiful. There are horses (you can brush one of them) and cows. Set in a vast area of undeveloped land. Calming & healing. Things to note: -taxis are about $15 US to and from this place to town or most trekking starts. If you don’t have a car/motorcycle this makes things more expensive. BUT they have an amazing restaurant here for dinner and bfast was included. They do sell lunches also. -the only hot tubs are for more expensive rooms that are not listed on Airbnb. Your room will have a bath tub/shower combo with tons of hot water but you won’t have access to a hot tub if you book with Airbnb. **Alredo the host was delightful. He went above and beyond to keep me happy and was very sweet. The rest of the staff was great too! Highly recommend!!!!

This is a great location, accepting there are a few steps to navigate in the short walk to the centre of El Calafate. The added bonus is that the tour I chose did a pick up here which they do not do for all Air BnBs.

We had a great time and close to downtown!! We loved our room and the area an 8-minute walk from downtown by a fairly quiet path. The Staff was super friendly reception, they suggested activities and very attentive to our breakfast time for daily activities. We really loved it! We recommend it 100% 🙂🙌🏽

Andrea and Javier were wonderful hosts and a wealth of knowledge. We arrived on Christmas Eve and they helped us find a great holiday dinner for our first Christmas away from family. The accommodations are cute and a short walk to the city center. Very convenient and quiet! Thanks so much!

My stay was wonderful; the room was comfortable, and the shared spaces were clean. The flat is located in a quiet area with a lovely view of Lake Argentino, just a 15-minute walk from the city center. Hugo, the host, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We had a great time at hotel del Lago. The common spaces are really cute to hang around. The included breakfast was also amazing. There a lots of options even for vegan people. The staff was really nice and helpful. You can start the hikes directly from the hostel.
