Excellent experience in a Historic Hostel. In addition to the space being very beautiful and arranged, it has an excellent environment of conviviality and sharing and great free extra services such as the borrowing of sticks, snacks throughout the day and the possibility of using food for cooking. Breakfast was always fantastic with new recipes every day and all the staff was friendly and very available. We recommend to everyone who wants an authentic, comfortable and sharing experience in a stay in el Chalten.

Had the best time here, had a private which felt really cozy. Awesome and kind people who helped when needed and great breakfast, you could tell it was made with love. Also every hike you want to do is walkable from the hostel

2 steps from the train station terminal so very convenient for that but 15min walk to the city center and other points of el Calafate. He organizes tours cheaper than other bus companies so if you come that for the Perito Moreno it's nice.

We stayed for 2 nights and it was great! They offered a tour (which was really good, privat and to the same price as taking a bus). The room was clean, bed wa super nice and the kitchen was well equipped. The staff was super friendly and very helpful!! I would def. recommend this place and it’s right across the street from the bus station which is a plus. Thanks for having us:-)

Perfect spot to stay in El Calafate. Just steps from the bus station, and a 10-15 min walk into town. They can easily set up any trips or transport for you at the front desk. Comfy beds, really good shower pressure/temps, and a great amount of kitchen space (2 separate kitchens for in case it gets busy). Kitchens are well stocked with utensils too, however the only thing missing was a can opener (lol), but just ask reception and they can bring you one they have there. Overall an awesome place and would come back for sure.

We only stayed in El Calafate for one night, but we were very pleased. The people at the front desk were always nice and helpful. You could leave your luggage in the storage room. Breakfast is very symbolic, but if someone eats toast bread with jam, it's ok. Overall, very positive.

Nicolas was great host! I was there the day before the Hostel closed for the end of the season and he managed to keep my belongings in the Hostel for 4 more days, since I was doing a big hike in the region. What a legend! 😊 Great atmosphere too! And for the people complaining about the noise, common.. it's a hostel. If you are a light sleeper you should always have some ear plugs with you.

Everything is as it appears in the description. As detailed, the kitchen can be used until 10pm which can be early for a long day of trekking. Nico's service is best by far!

Hostel is exactly as pictured. Guys from reception are super friendly. Its clean, has good facilities and big plus to me was that its located in walking distance from the busstation. I also really appreciated that they talked to a loud group who came in late at night and started cooking, while the kitchen was already closed and it was almost silent time. Also, the hostel was flexibel with my cancellation, since i had planned to stay a week but had to leave earlier due to personal circumstances. Given the fair price, especially in El Chaltén where all is expensive, I would recommend!
