Vacation rentals with a patio in Santo António das Areias

This location is perfect if you want to drive and spend a few days exploring the Alentejo. Multiple towns are nearby. Evora is a great all day trip, including the megaliths outside of town, and you get to leave all the guided groups behind. Elvas is a wonderful town very near the border with Spain. Villa Real is a gem. Arraiolos is known for weaving rugs. Evoramonte is close by and has terrific views. All of these towns are hilltop towns with castles. The regional wine is terrific, the cork industry is fascinating, the olives, oranges, and lemons, are great, and you are in the middle of the area of marble quarrying. The towns are predominantly full of white buildings with mustard or blue trim and lot and lots of marble. Fica’s place is comfortable, quiet, and has restaurants, bakeries, drugstores, and small shops just steps away.

Everything is fine. Last night, the guests had a party above us, which robbed us some sleep for which Viktor can't do anything. Top location in the center and yet quiet area. Absolutely sufficient space for four adults.

Beautiful place, you can see that it was recently remodeled which gives it a special touch, the entrance was easy and the communication with the host was excellent. I definitely recommend it to visit the old town and it's an ideal walking location to all parts of the city center

We had a little difficulty finding the apartment, but probably due to the Google maps changing directions mid way. A wonderful place that was super quiet. The breakfast was outstanding and the Lady that delivered it was very special. She also helped us get to our car, again Google was pointing us in the wrong direction. A great place to stay in an unbelievable historic city.

We stayed in the “wall”. It is a small but spectacular house, inside one of the most quiet and secluded areas of the castle. It has a walled courtyard, which for us was an added value since we also took our bige. In fact, ALs that accept animals are always to be congratulated because they suffer from the scarcity. The house is in an area where it is difficult to go by car (although it is possible but the streets are too narrow) and Mr Luís was very helpful to take us (to us, to our bags and to our dog) to the house at check in, which was a great help. Even so, walking access is fast. We recommend it.

The apartment was great, just renovated, with the best view! Even better than on the pictures which seems to be another, smaller, apartment. This one has a big livingroom with a comfortable couch and also a working desk in the bedroom. Exactly what we needed. We booked very last minute and pedro's response was very welcoming and quick. Thank you! :)

The landlords living upstairs were extraordinarily nice and helpful. Lots of helpful tips and in the morning even fresh buns were delivered by the baker.

Definitely a great fit for quiet days and away from the hustle and bustle. The home was very well equipped and taken care of. We really want to come back in the summer!

Joao’s place is gorgeous. Authentically Portuguese feel. Decorated beautifully! Cozy and quite spacious. Others have mentioned stairs, so if you can’t do them, you might have a problem. But the place is really terrific and I highly recommend.

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting. Peaceful, quiet, and I loved the orange and lemon trees. Listening to the birds while enjoying the view was a real treat! Joao was extremely professional and communicative - it’s clear he has put a lot of time and attention into the Airbnb.

Great accommodation for a large group. Plenty of fun things to do, with the pool, billiards, table tennis, board games and puzzles! And we loved seeing the cows and activity around the farm.

The house is well arranged, and the space is very friendly. Both inland and outside. Functional house with scellent bedding and well-equipped kitchen. Great host.

The house is very cozy, it is well located to get to know the surroundings well. It is very calm and great to rest. We miss the couch on the ground floor. The information Rodrigo gave was very helpful. We really enjoyed it! :)

We feel so lucky to have come across this place, it's in a peaceful location nestled in the mountains surrounded by nature, a short 14min drive from Sardoal which has everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed the local walks and area that Natascha was really great at telling us about. In particular there's a beautiful walk along the river to a waterfall which our 1 year old and 4 year old could manage. The property itself is gorgeous, a lovely, well-renovated house, ample kitchen, living space and bedrooms. The garden is stunning, with beautiful orange trees and the chance to swim in your private pool surrounded by trees and mountains. It's great for young families with a sandpit and ramps going all the way up the garden and the roof terrace was perfect for eating out on a hot day. Natascha was a great host and communicator. Possibly the best Airbnb we've stayed in. Thanks!

Really comfortable staying at the flat - the staff were great & the food at the bar was delicious & very generous!

We really enjoyed the space. It's exactly like the pictures. Family atmosphere with surrounding animals and very green space, super nice. Very calm and without confusion.

A very comfortable and very clean place to stay. I had plenty of utensils . It had firewood available and a very comfortable beds. The accommodation is excellent.

Pete and Linda are the best hosts we've ever had on Airbnb. They both went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable, from local restaurant recommendations to pool toys and everything in-between. Our daughter had an amazing holiday! The house itself is charming, with tonnes of space and everything you could need. The pool is fantastic and well kept. The local area is remote and beautiful with gorgeous countryside everywhere and some charming river beaches. I managed a run down from the house to the beach and back a couple of times but it's pretty hilly. In short, we couldn't recommend this place more. Thanks
