Maria's house is beautiful, all granite and wood. The view is just sublime, the landscaped exterior is lovely too. We were remarkably well hosted by Sandra, an extremely kind and responsive young woman. We warmly recommend this listing.

We had a great weekend. The views of the vines and Douro are amazing. The accommodation is comfortable and well-equipped. I highly recommend to nature lovers.

A beautiful, well planned house in a spectacular location with the most amazing balcony, where one can sit and soak in the views and pure air, and a pool to cool off in the heat of a Portuguese summer. Everything about the house, from the furniture to the cutlery shouts quality. There are two good supermarkets, pharmacies, cafés, bakeries, restaurants within 10/15 minutes driving distance. A little further takes you to vineyards, the Paiva walkways, and of course Porto. Ana and her husband are so gracious and generous with their time; always available but wonderfully discreet. It has been our pleasure to stay here and I wouldn’t hesitate for one second to wholeheartedly recommend this property.

Enchanting site and unforgettable memories, this charming destination is well worth the trip. The room was spotless and the hosting was very warm. The owner, Jose, was very responsive to the power outage that affected all of Portugal and graciously received all his guests for a country BBQ. A generous and welcoming man like his whole family by the way. That was perfect! Thank you for everything!
