RE-LISTED after property renovations :-). Light filled school bus in country setting. 1 mile from the Village of Saxapahaw located on the Haw River. Queen bed in bedroom & futon couch pulls out to a small double bed. Bus is complete with full kitchen, stove, SMEG fridge, full bath & composting toilet. Quick trip to Saxapahaw for great food at the General Store, The Eddy or Left Bank Butchery; beer at Haw River Ales; coffee at Cup 22; music at the Haw River Ballroom; kayak on the Haw River.

The Yurt at Frog Pond Farm

Our yurt (30' dia.) is rustic, beautiful, quiet, in deep woods with deck overlooking pond. Great for couples, small families (not childproof). Includes hot tub & Poetry Walk. Beds are futons. It's warm June-Aug. (no A/C, plenty fans), but way cooler than the city. It's cold Nov.-March (wood stove heat). Mini-fridge & microwave (no kitchen/plumbing). Parking and the bath-house are 2-min. walks (toilet, sink, shower). Two minutes to Saxapahaw. Read description for more info. NO PARTIES. No dogs.

Newly refurbished, family friendly, with plenty of forested land for exploring, camper/trailer parking and fenced pasture with water. Free wi-fi. Pets welcome - two pet limit. Pasture may be suitable to horses who won't jump the fence and can get along with 3-4 heifers.
