We had a lovely five-night break. The cottage is cosy, but was ideal for the two of us and our little dog. The secure garden was a highlight and perfect for any nervous dogs like ours, as it's peaceful with no one walking by. Nicola was helpful and quick to respond when we couldn't figure out the heating. The bed was very comfy and we slept well. The only thing that would have been helpful was some shower gel as we arrived without any. Otherwise, it was well equipped and the cake and prosecco were a lovely surprise! Thank you Nicola 😊.

Beautiful little cottage in the peaceful hamlet of Stearsby. Perfectly equipped for our family of 3 plus dog. The beds were especially comfy and we really appreciated the welcome treats and all the essentials for the stay. Nicola gave us an extensive list of local recommendations and over our 3 days we ate extremely well at a couple of Michelin starred restaurants and pubs, with lovely walks either side. a perfect stay for the long weekend

This place is so very special and worth every penny. Ultimate tranquility and peaceful yet plenty to do both in the barn and its surroundings. Mel is so lovely and has created the most beautiful place. Special touches for us on arrival that are very appreciated. Our second visit, this time with our little girl, and we will definitely book again.
