Tiny house vacation rentals in Scarborough District

This was our third time staying here, and to be honest I dont know why you would choose to stay anywhere else. It is a magical spot to spend a few days and the hosts are amazing - they have thought of everything and are so friendly and welcoming. We will be back and we recommend it as hands down the best place on AirBnB we have stayed at - by miles.

This is a gorgeous cabin easily accessible on the edge of the North York Moors. The cabins (currently 2 of them) are on a farm just outside a village on the main road; they're not signposted but Peter gave really good instructions on how to find them. It's all one room, plus bathroom, as in the pictures. Beds are super comfy, kitchen is small but work well, and heated towel rail meant damp coats dried easily after a day of rain. The decking looks across the fields and valley towards the Howardian Hills and was incredibly peaceful, and a great place to have breakfast. Peter had lots of recommendations about places to eat or visit. A really nice space to spend a few days and enjoy family time (or all reading our own books!) around visiting local castles and steam trains. There's also good walks nearby.

Beautiful surroundings, fantastic shed - even more impressive as it was built from scratch and is so well finished as well as comfortable. Philip and Esme were both very accommodating and friendly, good communication throughout, we had a really lovely stay. And the weather was glorious! Thank you so much for sharing your space with us, it's a hidden gem 😊

Absolutely great stay, calm and peaceful farm living worth every penny. The morning continental breakfast was tasty and healthy. Absolutely loved doing my yoga just outside the cabin under the sunlight 😁

We really enjoyed our stay - the pod was comfortable and well equipped, and onsite management team were friendly and helpful. Beautiful location, very quiet; and lots of things to do in the local area. I suspect we will return in the future!

Mariners is a lovely beach house, fairly cosy size but plenty big enough for 2 adults, 2 teenage children and a golden retriever. Only a few minutes down to a lovely huge beach. Would certainly visit again.

We had an amazing experience with this caravan! It was clean, well-equipped, and super comfortable. The layout made excellent use of space, and the beds were surprisingly cozy. Everything from the kitchenette to the bathroom was thoughtfully designed and worked flawlessly. Great for both short getaways and longer adventures. Highly recommended for families or couples looking to travel in comfort and style!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this shepherd's hut! The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering plenty of great recommendations for things to do in the area. The location is idyllic and is nestled right by a peaceful lake. It was the perfect spot for some much needed relaxation. Despite feeling like a tranquil retreat, it’s only a short 20 minute drive to York city centre, which was so convenient. The hut itself was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a stunning setting. Thank you for such a lovely experience!

Honestly one of the most stunning places I have ever been in so unbelievably clean and homely the speakers through the place where a game changer. Everything was perfect the bed the bathroom the little welcome basket, the scenery we couldn’t have picked a better place and we will definitely be returning!

we had such a relaxing a peaceful stay, the site was well maintained, equipped and quiet. the hot tub was hot on arrival, all information provided in a folder, games room, fire pit, kitchen equipment, plenty of cleaning products to keep the place clean. we would 100% come back again.

Had a really relaxing and chilled stay. The carriage has so much character and is just perfect for a weekend break. Nice touch to find Prosecco, milk and breakfast food in the fridge on arrival.

My wife and I stopped here for two nights to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We were provided clear instructions and were pleased to see the place was spotlessly clean. The amenities were excellent which included washing up needs, Dyson airfan, coffee machine, slippers, dressing gown and a brilliant tv/sound system. The hosts made us feel like home and Fiona gave us some great recommendations in the area. We were even assisted with a lift to the nearest town when we struggled with taxis. I’d recommend anyone staying here to book taxis in advance. We were greeted each morning by a warm welcome from Blue, the friendly black Labrador who is not shy to sit and watch telly with you! 🐶 What a perfect place with friendly hosts and a lovely dog. We’d love to come back in the future. Thank you!

The Niblet is in a beautiful hillside position. Watching the wildlife from the hottub (Rabbits, Red Kite, Lambs, horses) was wonderful creating the was the most relaxing retreat. A great location to explore the North York moors.

We loved our stay at Pocket Cottage! It was the perfect location to host a long awaited catch up with friends. We felt at home straight away, and the place is so well equipped with everything you would need, in such a compact space. The decor and all of the small details were really beautiful. We especially loved having coffee in the sun room in the morning and only wished we’d had longer to enjoy more of the cottage, its garden and fire pit. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this as a perfect stay just outside of York. Thanks again Sarah and Chris for being so welcoming and for your special place.

Just got back from a birthday weekend at The Potting Shed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay perfect for a birthday weekend! We were pleasantly surprised to discover what a charming, quintessentially Yorkshire village Tockwith is. So beautiful all around not far from York. Kathleen was so helpful and friendly, very responsive to our questions and made us so welcome. Nothing was too much to ask. We would greatly consider staying here again, highly recommend.

The Hut in the Wild was the perfect escape my partner and I needed. It’s a little corner of countryside bliss, privately hidden away with feathered and furry friends welcoming you to relax. The hot tub was left ready for us to relax into and enjoy the view with only the sound of birds chirping. Susi had left us a thoughtful basket of treats and made sure we felt at home. A perfect escape! ❤️

Staying here was a dream and we will definitely stay again. Very friendly and helpful hosts, who are fast to respond to any queries. Beautiful location close enough to York and Harrogate and some beautiful walks in Stavely, so we had lots to do. The hut was exactly as/ even better than described and photographed on the advert. All facilities were 10/10. A shepherds hut that has everything. Thankyou for our lovely stay😊

We had a wonderful stay and booked the sheep hugging /walking tour too which was amazing! The beds are super comfy, peaceful surroundings and fun quirky experience! I wish I stayed longer.

We had a lovely trip staying in the shepherds hut for a few nights. beautiful scenery all around, a good chat with Fiona about farm life and seeing the lambs, spying all the different types of birds on the farm. No phone signal and a few days in nature does wonders for you. Very happy with our stay.

We had a lovely stay, we had the perfect level of communication and couldn’t be happier. The place was lovely and clean and we enjoyed the easy stay. Very convenient for the local area, 5 minute walk into town, supermarket over the road and 30 minute drive to Hornsea. We really hope to be back again.
