“This place should be placed on your list of special places to visit!we stayed here on the last night of an 8 day road trip of Scotland and it was the icing on the cake! Despite heavy wind and rain this cabin kept us warm and cosy! The views and location are spectacular and we cannot wait to return. We did not need to light the log burner as we were warm enough and there is everything you require for an outstanding romantic glamping experience. The owners are so so warm and friendly and going to the top in the land rover was such a buzz....even our dog loved it! The double bed is so comfy which was welcoming after 7 hours driving, we didn't want it to go dark as watching the sky changing all different colours through the panoramic sized window was so relaxing. All in all.... 10 out of 10. Thanks for sharing this with us!”
The Stables is situated within the grounds of the old Cardean Woodland. It's ideally placed for exploring the local countryside: walking or cycling in the Angus Glens and the Perthshire hills, or skiing in Glenshee or golfing in world renown courses.
“Unfortunately we didn't get the chance to meet Michelle as she was away, but Michael who was at hand and was an amazing host. He was always available to assist where required. The place itself was well worth the amount we paid. Photos taken of the accommodation on the site are exactly how the place was upon arrival so you won't be disappointed when you book to stay here. Situated in a rural area, it was a perfect get away for those wanting a break from their hectic lifestyles. A number of exquisite places to visit locally especially Braemar in the Cairngorms. A wonderful trip and the only disappointment was the length of my stay just wasn't long enough to enjoy everything the area has to offer. Thankyou”

“I am very grateful to Ken for his hospitality, which has given me a new understanding of sharing a house with the landlord. He patiently took us to understand the rules of the house, and every place was explained in detail. The rooms are especially warm, clean and tidy, and the mattresses and bedding are very comfortable, making them the most comfortable experience throughout the journey. His dog is also very cute!
