Bernard and Nicole are lovely hosts. They showed around their garden with donkeys, chickens and all the surrounding biodiversity. Charming cabin in a green setting ideal if you are looking for calm. I highly recommend for a few peaceful days. A big thank you to Nicole and Bernard.

I celebrated my birthday at Château Belcayre in Bordeaux, and it was truly magical! The property is even more beautiful than I imagined, with stunning architecture and serene gardens that create the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. Our host, Come, was exceptional. He helped arrange a private chef for my birthday dinner, and the meal was simply divine. Each dish was delicious and beautifully presented, showcasing local flavors. The crew was incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Exploring the expansive grounds was a delight, with cozy spots to unwind and enjoy the scenery. Overall, my experience at Château Belcayre exceeded all expectations. The combination of gorgeous surroundings, outstanding hospitality, and exquisite cuisine made for a birthday I will always cherish. This barn is a dream! Cosy, comfortable, with so many authentic details and everything you need. We loved the kitchen , the stove, the linens and the garden, one of the most beautiful, intimate,peaceful we’ve seen. The guests were so nice with us, very responsive and helpful, they gave us a lot of wonderful recommendations. Montignac-Lascaux is charming,there are very good restaurants, bakeries closed to the house. The region is spectacular with so many beautiful villages, castles, gardens. We highly recommend this place!

Carole's place is very well equipped and comfortable for 2 people. Above all, it's a small haven in the middle of nature. It is accompanied only by the birdsong that you can have breakfast on the terrace without notice. In the evening you will enjoy a ceiling of stars in peace. No nuisance ,no noise or light in this natural setting. Carole is charming,extremely accommodating, with great discretion and remarkable responsiveness. In a few minutes by car you will find restaurants, shops, visits szns to talk about great walks nearby. I recommend 300% and will be back.
