Villa vacation rentals in Shinjuku City

Accurate description, good location, fast response— had a great time!

Location is a bit far from central of Tokyo (would be costly if you use taxi) and the road is fairly small. But, train station is only 500m away from the accommodation, with many direct destinations such as Tokyo Station and Narita Airport. There are a lot of restaurants nearby as well. These will save you a lot of time and money. Accommodation is big, not the newest building esp the second and third floors, but everything functioned really well and clean, which what matters most. Overall, we are satisfied especially with our communication with the hosts. They were very responsive and lovely, basically anytime you contact them. That was very helpful!

Qiao’s place was perfect for our family of 4. The location (Mejiro) was perfect. 3 min walk to the train station JR line, and away from the extremely business of Shinjuku but only less than 10 min train ride away. It’s very convenient, and lots of food options, convenient store, and supermarkets are all less than 10 min walk away. There are plenty of room for us (3 extremely comfortable beds), and the owner is extremely thoughtful on what we might need during our trip and she has it all on the apartment (shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, first aid kids etc). It created a wonderful memory for our family and we are so glad we rented this airbnb instead of a small urban hotel

It’s a really nice place and a great host

Our stay was excellent! Hanako is very responsive to all your questions. The house is located in a very residential area, however, very close to a great park for kids, excellent restaurants, and a small grocery store nearby.

Himeka’s place was clean and tidy. Full of essentials. The washing machine and massage chair were great. There were 5 of us so there was plenty of space.

The host is extremely responsive. House is clean, has plenty of rooms and space, the beds are comfy, and it has nice bathrooms and shower amenities. The house is about a 10-15 minute walk from 3 different stations on 3 different lines (including a JR line) which makes it relatively straight forward to get to almost anywhere in Tokyo. From there it's anywhere from 10-30 mins to get to some of the more popular places. At night it's pretty quiet, but there is a small but vibrant strip (especially during the day) just outside with shops and a few places to eat all the way along to the Kamegome Station. There's also not many tourists, which gives it a nice local feeling.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional Airbnb property with my family, and it was one of the best stays we've ever had. The host was incredibly responsive, honest, and considerate. Everything promised was delivered, and the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant by providing thoughtful amenities like slippers, toothbrushes, seasonings, and adapters. The space itself was spacious, well-decorated, and impeccably clean. The attention to detail and the host's dedication to guest comfort made all the difference. We felt well taken care of throughout our stay and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for top-notch accommodation. We'll definitely be returning in the future!

Jkp was extremely helpful and responsive. The location is great - 5 minutes away from the subway. A few minutes away there were very good local restaurants and cafes. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. We would be happy to visit again. Highly recommended!

5 Stars – Perfect Stay for Our Family in Shinjuku! We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Shinjuku. The location is unbeatable—close to shops, restaurants, and transit, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. It was ideal for our family, with plenty of space and thoughtful amenities. The host was absolutely lovely—friendly, responsive, and checked in on us regularly to make sure everything was going smoothly. Their local guide was also incredibly helpful and made navigating the area so much easier. The apartment looked exactly like the pictures—clean, modern, and very well-kept. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Tokyo, especially families!

Largely great stay! Place is as described and the host was perfectly communicative, helpful and flexible, great host. Home is beautiful and the location is wonderful, a quiet / residential area (with embassies, expats) but very close to Azubu and Hiro-o subways and shopping and dining etc. Just be aware that the home is unique, referred to by my co-traveler as a 'concrete palace' which seems apt. As others have mentioned, tight spiral stairway up to 4F may not be for everyone. And some weird quirks, like the shower, sink and toilet (4F) all in different spots, seems more designed for form rather than function. Also the concrete needs some work (esp 4F shower, as the host is aware and communicated about) and updating in a few places. Might be hard to live in long-term but made for a wonderful 4N stay overall (as long as you're ok with the stairs etc). Bonus ride to NRT was a nice touch, thank you

Wan hosted me in April 2025. It's a brand new townhouse in a calm area near Warabi or Nishi-Kawaguchi stations. Very easy and quick commute to Shibuya, Tokyo. House is clean, cozy and located next to small 7Eleven which works 24x7 which is perfect for travelers arriving at night. The house is equipped with everything which is needed for a short or long term staying. Wen communicated very quick and I never waited for a response more than 5-10 mins. Thanks to Wen my vacation passed in a splendid place.

We had a great stay at this wonderful property. The home is situated in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood (with very friendly neighbors) but is very walkable to convenience stores and subway stations. From residents going about their day to children walking home from school, this area has a lot of local character--which is nice after spending the day in the bustling city. The home itself is very clean and inviting. From quick breakfasts at the table to relaxing on the couch, there was ample space to live, especially by Tokyo standards. We even cooked a full meal one day with great ease. During our stay, we had one inquiry for the owner, and she was extremely responsive and helpful. She went well out of her way to ensure that we were taken care of. I was extremely impressed by her hospitality and thorough communication. I would highly recommend this location, especially for families, if you want a nice getaway that's only a few minutes away by train from Tokyo's busier areas.

Great place, great location, if you’re not used to Japanese’s home structure, this might be a very awkward floor plan, as we were visiting my son from the USA, my son who has lived in Japan for the last 6 months, said this place is actually really spacious, quiet location, very close to the train station and local eatery.

Stayed with my parents and loved it. The house itself is sparkling-clean and feels freshly built—solid “new earthquake-proof” vibe—yet still cosy. Biggest flex is the little balcony on top floor: morning coffee with a clear peek at Tokyo Skytree never gets old . Inside you’ve got fast Wi-Fi, full kitchen, washer/dryer and ice-cold A/C, so it’s easy to treat the place like home. Self-check-in was seamless. Neighborhood is quiet. Overall, it was amazing value—would happily book 橘 Garden Stay again on my next Tokyo run. Total win!
