Our stay was wonderful. Lisa and Steve were great hosts and very helpful. They were not intrusive at all but made it clear that they were available if needed. The few questions I had were answered quickly and efficiently. The house is very well appointed, lovely decor and specifically, I loved that it was furnished and decorated with matching furniture and colors, art, towels, and cookware. Some places are just a hodge podge of household cast offs. Lisa and Steven put a great deal of time and effort in creating a charming hideaway. There were pet towels and sheets available for Maddie, our yellow Lab's use. We really appreciated that. The location was nice and quiet and mostly easy to find (I would suggest finding it in the daylight first) but once we knew where the turn off was it was easy. Groceries and other necessary stores were close by. The patio / deck with fire pit was lovely for wine, snacks and conversation. Great stay!

We loved staying at the little cottage. Our tween girls shared the loft and slept very comfortably on a queen mattress up there, waking to the sound of birdsong just like being in a treehouse. The neighborhood is welcoming and beautiful; my husband enjoyed morning walks surrounded by lemon trees and blooming wisteria. The cottage had everything we needed for a simple but well equipped stay, with coffee maker, microwave, small refrigerator and freezer, and other countertop appliances. We also really enjoyed the big bathtub, King sized bed, and little back patio with charming lights. This place has great vibes and visitors are so lucky to call it a home base!

This is the second time I've stayed at Yves's place, as I travel to Santa Cruz for work frequently. Yves's place has been a quiet, calm refuge with everything I need to feel comfortable away from home. Plus, the beach just a short walk away is stunning! Highly recommend.

Beautiful Cottage by the sea with lovely decor and extraordinary kitchen. Lots of items to help keep things clean, garbage and compost bags, plenty of dish cloths, a laundry center and clear instructions / house rules. Autumn is very responsive, flexible and communicative. Beds are comfortable , one twin bed is more suited to a child than adult but other one is very supportive. Private beautiful garden space and multiple heating units to stay nice and cozy . Neighborhood is great , a quick walk to Rio Del Mar beach and close to shopping in Aptos Villsge and Rancho Del Mar shopping center. Will definitely be back, had a great vacation. Nice big TV with fast and reliable wi-fi as well.
