The home is situated on half an acre of land in the middle of redwood, eucalyptus, and oak trees secluded away from other homes. Montclair village is an 8 minute drive, providing lots of great food and shops. Minutes from Highway 13 and 580. It is a 1 bedroom studio with a queen bed and a pull out sofa bed. The space has standard 8ft ceilings, plenty of natural light with 6 full size windows and a patio space in our lovely garden. Amenities include Roku TV, kitchenette appliances but not a full kitchen. The Queen bed and the full size sofa bed can sleep a family of 4. Easy walk to public transit, restaurants, shops and parks.

Fully-equipped studio apartment in Alameda victorian home. Spacious, with modern amenities (WiFi, Netflix), free coffee and tea, queen-size bed, and big yard, shared with the main house. Separate entrance through the backyard. Young kids live in the upstairs house part-time (see “other notes”) and can be loud until 9:30pm. We’re a dog-friendly space and love hosting pups (maximum of 2, house trained)! Please note that we’re not able to accommodate cats at this time. Lab lives in property.

Inside the walk-in closet, we've also curated a coffee & tea station with a mini fridge and a cold/hot water dispenser.

Welcoming touches include salt from our salt farm and air diffusers. Fix your own meals in the kitchenette or pick up takeout at dozens of restaurants blocks away. We follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. We live upstairs, close by if you need anything.

Cozy Watertower by Beach and Transit

This 100-year old water tower in our backyard supplied water to beach cottages on our street. It's been renovated into a tiny home, mostly using reused or upcycled materials. We're happy to share it with guests looking for a quiet & unique place to stay in the Bay Area. It has its own entrance, private courtyard and is located one block from the beach, pinball museum, transit, farmers market, coffee shops & restaurants. You’ll love it because it's quaint and conveniently located.
