Kid-friendly vacation rentals in St. Germain

overall a good stay. I prefer white towels over black ones. sheets were dark brown, I prefer white. water comes from well and is brownish in color due to iron. there are no hooks to hang towels. also nowhere to hang clothes. bathroom sliding door has no handle. freezer was not cleaned. There was plenty of coffee.

Super beautiful hidden gem. The porch is spectacular & the details are super fun. Chocolate on the beds were our favorite touch. We were very comfortable with 5 of us. Thanks again Mark & Susan!

My group has been cross-country skiing at ABR for more than 20 years. We like to rent a house on the trails. This was our first time at Saari House. The second week in March was late in the season for skiing, but we skied in the mornings and snowshoed in the afternoons. Being right off the Blueberry Bluffs trails was nice. The house is charming, with lots of natural light. There is a well-equipped kitchen and a dining room table that seats 6. There is just one bathroom but that was fine for our group of four women. One bedroom is on the main floor, off the cozy living room. The second floor has the second bedroom, plus an extra room with a pull-out couch. It was nice to have plenty of large towels, and a washer/dryer in the bathroom. There is a small wooden deck around the front of the house. You enter through a mud room with plenty of room to store your boots and hang clothes. We look forward to a visit here next winter!

My 16 year old son and I stayed in Chery's home for a snowmobile trip. The house was beautiful and up to date with all modern appliances and furnishings. The HVAC system worked great, keeping us warm. The beds were comfortable and the linens all look new and smelled fresh. Each bedroom also had a TV. The bathroom was very clean, the shower was nice and hot and didn't run cold. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need, even included a lot of extra welcoming niceties that I will let you discover. The snowmobile trail is a short 5 minute ride up the road, easily assessable by snowmobile. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back in the future. The perfect spot for a relaxing weekend. I loved the fireplace and jet tub, and quick access to town while still feeling very private. The kitchen was well equipped for a rental and everything went very smoothly with the host's clear instructions. Thank you!

We had a great stay at Sundance apartment for a quick ski race weekend at Snowriver- Jackson Creek which was just up the road (I wouldn’t walk with ski gear, but it’s just a minute or two to get there by car). The apartment was extremely clean and very comfortable- it was modern and updated which can be hard to find in the area. We arrived in a whiteout snowstorm and were still able to find the place with ease following the provided directions. We had two small children with us and it was a comfortable size for our family of four. Also to note— a pack n play fit easily in the bedroom which was very helpful. Would recommend this spot and would be happy to return if we’re in the area in the future!

Felt very lucky to find this place. Thank you to Jen and her family for providing such a great space at a price manageable for even a single person to stay. I especially love the organic farming practices, and how she carried that mindset into the guest space. From the organic soaps to the high quality linens, she had it covered with a very holistic feel. Looking forward to more stays at Jen’s!

Luke has been very communicative throughout the whole process. He has maintained contact before, during and after our stay. The apartment is located within walking distance to several local eateries. You're also not far from the Wisconsin border where you will find even more restaurants. Upon arrival, we weren't entirely sure where the apartment was because there was no clear address on the building and we never saw a photo of the outside. It's a very spacious apartment, they have done some great updates to the place. New shower with great water pressure. They upgraded the TV before our visit. The kitchen was stocked with basic needs (dishes, pans, cups, etc.) and our bed was comfortable. Like much of the U.P. it's an older building (built in 1887), but I have no doubt that the owners are going to restore its charm.

Wonderful chill spot. Had a lovely time just hanging out in the quiet setting.

An excellent place to stay. Beautiful surroundings and great trails to walk. Extra added fun if the Rock Garden Bar happens to open.

I can only say positive things about the accommodations and Greg's communications. He always replied promptly and concisely.

Great location right off the snowmobile trail and close to downtown. Nice big parking lot for a snowmobile trailer. House was clean and comfortable. Everything was as described.

This was a great place to stay for our end of the season ski trip. A close 2-minute walk to the chalet. There is a lift even closer, but it wasn't running, presumably because our stay was the last weekend of the ski season. The condo was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and cozy. Myron was super helpful and responded to messages within minutes. Being April, it wasn't cold enough to warrant using the hot tub, but it looked great. He offered to let us check out later since the cleaning crew wasn't arriving right at 11:00. Much appreciated! So much nicer to change in his condo rather than the chalet before our drive home. Looking forward to booking this condo again for our annual Michigan ski trip next winter!

We stayed during a snowstorm that dumped a foot of snow and Wendy made it really easy to add an extra night to the stay

This is a very nice and spacious place in a convenient building whether you are skiing at Black River (which is ski in - ski out) or Jackson Creek Summit which is only 10 minutes away and has easy parking. Calley is super responsive and easy to work with.

Great place to stay and ski!

We had a great experience at North Vacation Rentals. The host was helpful and responsive. Apartment was clean and well stocked. This is our second time staying here and would recommend to anyone when visiting Ironwood.

Jay is very friendly and very responsive. The place is spacious and we even saw a beautiful sunset in the room. Very quiet. Nice environment. We enjoyed our stay.

Jon's place was a perfect home base for our long weekend trip to Snowriver and ABR Ski Trails. The home was clean, the beds were comfortable, and Jon was very responsive.
