Perfect location for exploring the Shetland Isles and mainland. We were lucky enough to be there when the RNLI had their 4th shout of 2025 and had the perfect spot to watch the launch.

A wonderful location to explore Lerwick - we were there for the music festival and it was absolutely perfect. We also made a mistake on our booking date - and were very fortunate to take advantage of a cancellation! Tony and his dad were so considerate and helpful and accommodating- so we were very lucky - as being festival time everything was booked. The “silver lining” is that we experienced two different units in their house - and both were exceptionally comfortable and bright.

Our first trip to Shetland and well worth the effort (from Wiltshire) This lovely cottage in a quiet spot was a great place to stay. Plenty of room, all the facilities worked as expected and the view from the lovely conservatory was great. Scalloway is situated about 1/2 way up from the Southern tip of Shetland, so it's a perfect place to base a trip. The cottage is a 5 minute walk from the harbour side and there are two general stores in the centre of town. So if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place to relax after a hard day touring the islands, We can highly recommend it.

Beautiful little studio. Exactly as pictured. Absolutely pristine. Bed was super comfy and pillows were amazing. Lovely shower room with fantastic local toiletries. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need including basics such as tea, coffee, salt, pepper, oil not to mention Bread milk and butter. A bag of treats and some bowls for the dogs and a bag of Puffin Poo for the humans. Flexible check in to allow us in straight off the boat. Can’t thank Heather and Gordon enough for this gem of a find.
