This is a beautiful, historic and inspiring cottage, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The cottage is full of wonderful antiques and is very atmospheric. It was also snug and cosy on grey days, and fresh and light on sunnier days.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Hosts & Perfect Stay I cannot recommend Colin and his wife enough. Due to an unexpected family bereavement, I needed to book somewhere to stay last minute. Colin was incredibly understanding and accommodating—he had everything ready for my arrival and even allowed me to add two extra guests at the last minute without charging extra, which I truly appreciated. The house itself was perfect—clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. It made a difficult time a little easier, and I’m so grateful for their kindness and hospitality. Thank you again, Colin. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend this place to others.

Lovely hosts, felt welcomed immediately. The host had great knowledge of the area and many recommendations of where to go/eat in the area. The area was great, out of the way but close enough to shops if you need to pop out or can have home delivery. The cottage was stunning, matched the pictures and the scenery was stunning. Only small downside was late check in - 5pm. Would definitely come back in future!

Margaret's place is as near perfect as you could expect to find. The location is amazing - so peaceful and with views to die for. Everything you need is there, well equipped, modern, comfortableand functional. The hot tub is lovely. Margaret and Steve are great hosts: friendly and available when you need them.
