Japanese houses are designed to suit Japan's climate (warm and humid). Therefore, it is cold in winter because it is not airtight. Please refrain from staying if you are looking for the comfort of hotel. Recommended for those who want to experience traditional Japanese rural life. Including dinner and breakfast.

It is a lodge in the mountain which refurbished the old building and has a stay production base for artists. The name of the lodge is "Kumoma". Our lodge is in Koguchi village, which is located in the mountains between Hongu and Nachi. It is popular with hikers on the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route. For breakfast, we serve simple things such as toast, drinks, fruits, etc. It is rare in the mountains,but you can buy some food because the small shop is in front of you.
