The idyllic forest hideaway 20 minutes from Mt Baw Baw Ski Village. Moose Head Lodge is one of a kind; off-grid, warm and comfortable, a little quirky and oh so peaceful.
“Perfect quiet weekend getaway. Although would have loved to stay a bit longer. Matt and Rachel know how to make your stay pleasant and easy with a well stocked kitchen in case you forget something and little notes to help with the fire and pizza oven. We loved putting out some seed to watch the gorgeous birds as we ate breakfast in the mornings. The bed was comfortable, we slept really well. Life slowed down and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. There were plenty of books, CDs and games to fill the time we'd usually fill with Tech. We will come back and most likely bring our kids.”
Situated in peaceful Tanjil Bren, just a 20 minute drive from Mt Baw Baw, this homely house is the perfect place to escape the daily grind and a great base to explore the region.
“The lodge was perfect for our two families, cosy, clean and in beautiful surroundings. We felt quite privileged to be enjoying the beautiful forest and alpine area, despite the the bushfire crisis in other parts of the state. Thanks Tracy for her flexibility around the date of arrival, as we assessed the possible risk of travel. We had a wonderful time at Jenny Lodge.”
Welcome to Big Patsa's Place, located in Big Pats Creek which is a fully fenced and gated property being only a 6 minute drive to central Warburton. The house is set on a beautiful and peaceful 1 acre of land bursting with wildlife, its one of the most relaxing places in Warburton. There are multiple family's of birds that visit including King Parrot's Rosella's Kookaburra's and willy wag tails.
“This is the perfect getaway just outside of Warburton. The house is everything you could ask for- spacious, clean, multiple living areas and all with stunning views of the trees and birds. It is so close to multiple walking tracks that would take days to complete if you were keen. It is only 7 mins from shops and supermarket but was lovely to be away from that in nature. Emma is so helpful and quick to respond. Definitely hope to return.”
