Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. The Stable Loft is perfect for a family holiday, fishing, wild swimming or water-sports holiday and also a romantic getaway. It is a peaceful oasis, tucked away from it all at Foss, in the Tummel Valley, but it is easily accessible from the A9 near Pitlochry.

Set in our small mixed woodland at West Cottage and Stables in in picturesque Glenlyon, our 20ft yurt offers complete privacy, a choice of two fire pits (one under cover) and amazing views, a wood burning range cooker with an oven, and a double bed – to mention just the essentials. The yurt is lined with wool, and there's a pull out twin bed and a kettle and toaster. There's cold water in the yurt and a full bathroom a short walk up to our house. There's also your own loo right by the yurt.

At Milton Cottage we aim to offer guests a cosy retreat to our croft where they can come and unwind in Glenlyon, Scotland’s longest and most beautiful glen. For hill walking, Ben Lawers and 12 munros are within a 6 mile radius. If you like fishing, salmon and trout fishing can be arranged. On request, we offer a three-course dinner. It's all homemade and we regularly cook vegetarian dishes, using our own or local produce where possible. The cottage has reliable WIFI broadband.

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.
