Nice place, lovely location. Well decorated - particularly liked the school desk coffee table. Only issue was the lockbox key, the airbnb code was wrong. But I called Kirsty, She was very helpful and it was sorted very quickly. Great place.

We felt so welcomed at this home. The hosts were very generous in the welcome goodies they left us and in the time taken to chat to us, give recommendations and lay the fires on our first day. We had an excellent meal at the recommended Spencer Arms, about 5 minutes drive away and enjoyed visiting the Sculpture Park and had a day in Bradford where there are some fantastic free museums. We would definitely stay here again if we were visiting the area.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Langsett. The apartment really felt like a home, looks even nicer in person, and has the most lush views of the local countryside. It feels private and secluded, but you're also really close to local spots like Langsett Reservoir, the Transpennine trail, and Penistone. The home was spotless and comfortable, and we loved all the little touches Alison had added to make it feel special. We particularly loved sitting out on the decking to read and watching a film on the projector. Alison was the perfect host. She greeted us on arrival, showed us around, and gave us some lovely recommendations on what to do nearby. She also baked for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. We also loved the visits from the dogs! If you're after a peaceful weekend getaway in a stunning location, I strongly recommend The Langsett. Thank you so much, Alison - we'll definitely visit again!

An amazing AirBNB. Exactly as described (if not better). The place is spotlessly clean and so peaceful. Paula, the host, was very communicative and friendly. She went above and beyond what is expected, even leaving some fresh milk, coffee/tea and biscuits. We stayed there to attend a wedding at nearby Spicer Manor (great location for this venue) and as she was home, even offered to give us a lift there. The bed was super comfy and very spacious. All in all an excellent AirBNB and one I would definitely stay at again without hesitation. Thank you Paula for making us feel so welcome.
