Absolutely wonderful stay! The place was stylish and incredibly comfortable. Every little detail was thoughtfully taken care of, from the cozy linens to the fully stocked kitchen. Steve was super friendly, responsive and made check-in a breeze. Would love to visit again.

This is the third time we have stayed here and again it was great, the accommodation is brilliant, comfy and private, the kitchen has everything you need to make your own food and drinks, on arrival there was milk and bread etc so you can have a brew, the bed is comfy and the shower is awesome, the surrounding area is beautiful and there are various walks around and a lovely pub in the village, Michelle and John are excellent hosts and are very responsive if you have any questions, we love staying here and will definitely be back.

There's not alot I can say about Birch Cottage except...absolutely amazing. The cottage has been done to a 'very' high standard & all the fixtures & fittings are all high quality. Its a definite 'home from home'. The beds so comfy you don't want to get out of it. The kitchen has got everything you need in a kitchen & more & the same with the shower room. & if there's any problems or questions you need answered then Chris replies within 10 mins. A definite 5+☆ host. Oh, & the views...well they're absolutely amazing! On a clear day you can see for miles. You could just sit on the outside chairs with a bottle, or 2, of wine & just breathe it all in & fuss Chris's kitties, Bertie and Piccolo, who are lovely. So in short, an excellent cottage in an excellent location with excellent views & 2 furry friends to fuss & cuddle! What's not to like?!! 10+☆

Absolutely Perfect Stay – Highly Recommended! We truly can't fault this accommodation—it was perfect for our needs, especially as it came about due to a last-minute issue with our house move. Karen and John were incredibly responsive and welcoming, which made everything so much easier. Lavender Annex is spotlessly clean and surprisingly spacious for one or two people. We specifically wanted somewhere self-contained but not just a single room, and this ticked every box. The separate kitchen area was a real bonus, and it's clear that the hosts have thoughtfully included everything you might need. The little private outdoor seating area was a lovely touch, and having off-street parking was a huge plus. It’s fantastic value for money, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others—or book it again when we have family visiting. Thank you again, Karen and John!
