"Zwartbleshoeve" is a holidayhome with a great location. It is situated in the peaceful countryside and with direct access to highways, bringing you in a short time to Bruges, Ghent, Brussels, Antwerp or the coast. It is also close to the French border. In the meadows the sheep graze, ducks and geese splash in the pond and a happy potbelly pig hops around. The house has a large sitting and dining area, a groundfloor twin room, a double room and a separate TV-room.

The guesthouse is housed in a 18th former trading house in the center of Bruges.  The name MaisonMidas refer to the statue on the top of the roof, Midas as an architect by Jef Claerhout. Every detail of our guesthouse reflects a unique blend of creativity and precision. We warmly welcome you to our cottage where it is all about nature, comfort and a perfect gateway to unplug from city life. You can sit in the terrace and enjoy the sounds of birds, our lovely pets walking in front of the house. Our house is fully equipped with a king size bed with amazing sunset views, a nice shower, a fully equipped kitchen. We are located very close to Bruges and to the coast with a lot of places to walk around in pure nature.

The Hectaartje in the Koornemoezen Brugse ommeland

The "Koornemoezen" is about 800 meters from the village centrum. You have your own part of the beautifully situated house in a exceptionally natural beautiful garden. You enjoy the peace in the green quiet neighborhood. Brugge, with car or bicycle, at 10 km, or by bus. The place to be visiting Brugge/Gent/Brussel. With bicycle you can also explore the surroundings. We offer the bicycles for free. Licensed Tourism Flanders.

Cottage and meadow

It's a very quiet place, close to nature, in the middle of the "Monts des Flandres". Rest, hiking or sightseeing: everyone will find their own. Near Belgium: Ypres (WW1 commemorations) at 30 min. The house is in the heart of nature: in the middle of a meadow, close to large trees and a water point. A peaceful, relaxing place. An ideal base for hikes or to more touristy sites. On request, breakfast: 10 euros/person.

Forest Yurt near Bruges

Our hand-made forest yurt sits in a secluded old growth forest on a private estate near medieval Bruges. The yurt is 5,5 meters (18 feet) in diameter. It sleeps 4 people comfortably, with a double bed and a double pull-out couch (but can just fit up to 5 people with an extra mattress provided). There's a wood stove & kitchenette inside. Linen, towels and organic soap/shampoo are provided.

Our house is located on the border of a residential area in the woods of Hertsberge, very close to Bruges, Gent, Flanders's fields and the coast. One part of the house is where we live, the other part is the one we rent out. Newly redecorated.
